The odd tint to Scarlett's smile didn't go unnoticed, but Zak didn't comment. He noted it quietly to himself, and let the conversation move on. On to a much more entertaining topic. He was still smirking to himself when Cyrus replied, and that smirk grew, turning a bit quizzical as he raised an eyebrow to the man's comment on Scarlett's teasing. He gave him a very interested, questioning look, but didn't voice whatever inquisitive remark was on his mind. Instead he smirked, taking his next drink and lifting it up, giving an off handed gesture towards Scarlett. "I agree with her. Knowing how to take something, and knowing how to make it as enjoyable as it can be, are very different..." He took his shot, setting the glass down and shifting his weight forward onto the counter. He'd have to slow down, just a bit, from here on. He had a pretty good alcohol tolerance, but he didn't want to risk getting buzzed with these two around. For a... variety of reasons.
He gave an amused smirk and a side glance at Scarlett when she jabbed at Cyrus' drink of choice, then looked thoughtfully down at it. Not something he'd tried before. He glanced back at her again, smirking as she gave her final input on the matter. "Glad we're in agreement..." he drawled, his smirk curling up again. It was just too bad they couldn't do anything with that agreement... Not unless he and Scarlett wanted to split the cost, at least. To hide the grin that started to cross his face at the thought-- and the one following it, that neither of them would likely ever have to otherwise pay for sex-- he swiped Cyrus' drink and lifted it to his lips. He took a drink, raising an eyebrow and looking thoughtfully up, then setting it back down and sliding it back to the man. "Not bad," he remarked, holding off on ordering his next beverage.

"It'snottheliquoriwastalkingabout,tits..." Cyrus grumbled under his breath, annoyed. At least Zak seemed to catch on to what he was insinuating, even if he did ultimately agree with the woman. Maybe it was best if he just left such suggestive comments to Zak. He looked off to the side, reaching over to grab a handful of beer nuts. After popping some into his mouth, he shoved the rest in his pouch, where a surprised mouse started to munch on them. Cyrus had almost forgot that Stow was still there... oh well.
His ears pricked as the woman sneered about his fruity choice of drinks. <******** off, Tits. So what if i like a fruity 'sipping' drink? They taste good." Cyrus sneered right back at the woman. It wasn't like he was picking the weak fruity drinks! His current drink had a high alcohol content hidden under the fruity flavor. Speaking of, his drink was finally delivered, but Zak intercepted it, taking a sip. The dark skinned male was shocked and a bit horrified at this, but his expression devolved to a rather fitting pout. Not like he could... tell Zak off for drinking his drink... since Zak was paying. He silently stewed for a bit as his glass was returned to him, but soon cooled off a bit, letting go of the expression on his face, putting on a mask of amiability once more. "Such poor self control, Comrade." he commented in a light tone, giving Zak a look that said 'Yes, I am being a smartass'. If he wasn't going to be saying the male's name at all in Tit's presence, then of course he was going to call him something. 'Comrade' just seemed to fit the bill for now.
Cyrus intently sipped from his glass right where Zak had. Now that was the rum he was looking for. The dark skinned male enjoyed the warmth the booze brought as he swallowed, drinking more deeply of his glass before setting it down. His golden gaze shifted back over to Zak as he seemed to attempt a starter for conversation. ... Not like it was really their business where Cyrus was going to go from here. "Eh... I don't have plans. Not really my style... I'm just going to go where ever work takes me." he responded. Though, it wasn't as if she could argue the idea at least, and down the hatch her drink went. Zak on the other hand, seemed almost a little too amused that they were in agreement. Scarlett eyed his smirk in a side glance, but before she could comment, Cyrus told her off for critiquing his drink choice, and begrudgingly, Scarlett turned her attention back to the thief.

This was amusing. Probably not so much to the other two, but Zak was finding their little bickering entertaining. not so much that he hoped it continued, or got worse, but the little snaps at one another was... cute. Like a couple of little dogs protecting their bones. It made him wish he had his own drink to sip from, kick back, and just watch, but he was pretty sure that if he took another gulp of Cyrus' drink he'd be facing more repercussions. He ordered himself a beer, staying out of their little 'debate', giving the bartender an appreciative nod as it was handed to him. He took a sip from it, glancing at Cyrus when he remarked on his 'self control'.
He flashed a smirk in response. "Now why would I bother with something like 'self control'?" he returned, his eyes narrowed in on Cyrus. He didn't miss that 'Comrade' comment, and the look the man gave him in response pretty much confirmed it was a jab at his usual accent. He didn't seem too annoyed at it, though-- or if he was, it wasn't so much that he was going to react. Instead he let his expression mellow, casting a side glance at Scarlett as he took another drink from his beer. He caught her murmur, even though it didn't seem to be directed at anyone, and a frown crossed his face. Just what the hell was that supposed to mean? Or was she back to being literal? He took the chance to throw a sarcastic glance at the ceiling, then set his drink back down.
Cyrus' response to his question was predictable, but he quirked an eyebrow all the same. "Yeah? Someone out assigning you jobs again?" he asked. As far as he knew, Cyrus usually worked for himself-- but he knew that Imperium would occasionally request something, and he was sure he had other buyers who would place orders as well. Otherwise, he assumed it was scavenging for artifacts he could sell on the black market, or find buyers for on the fly. Like.. he had here, for instance.
Shifting his gaze back to Scarlett (he was going to get whiplash at this rate), a more debonair smirk crossed his face. "Glad to hear you're motivated, Mishka..." he murmured, unable to help some of his accent spilling back into his voice. He recollected himself, though, as he took another drink of his beer, looking at her from the corner of his eye as she proposed an alternative time to his question, and even a motive. His smirk grew. "I would be disappointed if all it took were a few drinks to get you into bed..." he remarked, then cast an indicative glance to his other side, "And I already know Cy's price." He gave Scarlett a considering look, his lips curling up as the smirk on his face grew. "I wouldn't dare flatter myself into thinking I were that charming..." he added, though the smirk on his face suggested otherwise. She had seemed to appreciate his appearance when they first met, after all, despite the circumstances. It was good to know she wasn't that easy, though-- or at least, she would pretend not to be. He wasn't sure whether he wanted to test that resolve just now or not.
"Your pokemon do seem to be getting stronger, though," he added, "I'll look forward to hearing an update once you get back." He paused as he seemed to consider something, narrowing his eyes towards Cyrus. "Do you have any badges?" he asked, his tone almost accusatory. That beautiful blastoise and no badges... That would be practically blasphemous. Especially since he could tell she was fairly strong. Cyrus was lucky she hadn't decided to practice her aim by launching him in that cannon of hers...

"An insult? tch. No. Just sixty percent of your body." Cyrus replied sharply, cringing at her use of 'savvy'. Gross. Only that stupid aqua team actually used that term like that. His attention, however, was soon diverted back to Zak after his response to his quip about self control. "Hm. Suppose that's right. Restraint doesn't seem to be in your interests." Cyrus commented, then got to drinking down his Zombie. He then got another handful of beernuts and shoved it in his pouch as he felt some rustling at his side. It... would probably be best if Stow just stayed quiet in his pouch for now. Wouldn't really be good to let a rat out in this establishment.
"Hm? Yeah, sort of. More that I caught some rare pokemon here and there with strange colors - gotta go find buyers and what-not. Other than that... You know, the usual." Cyrus told Zak once the conversation concerning him resumed. Not that he had gotten any big jobs from Imperium recently... just the usually petty work that was good enough pay for him. He returned to his drink as Tits went on to reply to Zak, rolling his eyes a bit as she went on about not being that easy. Blegh... the way she talked to Zak was just... irritating. He paused mid-sip as he heard the male mention that he already knew Cy's price, staring at Zak from the corner of his eyes. He would have come up with a smart a** comment to make about it, but resumed drinking his drink without a word. He wasn't ashamed at all though, for having a price.
The conversation went on to badges and training. And Zak dragged him into it, questioning him in an almost accusatory manner. Finishing the last of his drink, he set down his glass. "Eh. I got a badge. What does it matter?" he responded, being kind of flippant. Honestly, he didn't really care much for training or challenging gyms. The only reason he even challenged brock was because of Rita, and the measly prize money. There were more... lucrative things he could be doing. And it wasn't like he didn't know how to train or battle, obviously. It was such a pity he didn't utilize it, though.

As if Zak didn't already know.
Ah, and there was that particularly handsome smile of his. Something about that smirk gave her a rush of excitement. Normally people would probably associate that kind of smile with trouble or danger, but Scarlett found it all too enticing for her own good. "What can I say? I'm a sucker far rewards, particularly when they align with interests I already have." She commented vaguely, giving Zak a once over before turning her attention back to the drink menu. Whether he interpreted her "interests" as getting badges or Zak himself, was up to him. Then it occurred to her however, that his question could have meant where they were planning to go immediately after their little happy hour. Upon this realization she had turned her attention back to Zak with a sly grin, accusing him of hoping to get lucky and pointing out that if that were his plan, he'd have to try a lot harder. She ignored Cyrus' annoyed and irritated expression, watching as Zak's smirk only grew at her proposal, commenting that he'd be disappointed if she were that easy. Scarlett laughed when he mentioned knowing Cyrus' price. Now was her chance to poke him back for his silent mocking earlier. "A price? Neu where's tha fun in that...?" She smirked. "I haveta admit, I used ta be havin' a price upfront too, but playin' games is a lot more fun, and sometimes even mare rewardin'..." Scarlett gave a flirty smirk, and narrowed her eyes a bit as Zak insisted that he wouldn't flatter himself into thinking he were that charming. She leaned a bit closer towards the russian, the same flirty yet leering look on her face. "I daen't believe ya far a minute..." She taunted smugly. So tempting, but she sat back properly in her stool and waved the bartender over for another scotch, this time nyx the ice. As he poured her shot, Zak commented that her pokemon did seem to be getting stronger. "How nice of ya t' notice." She commented flippantly, though Zak's attention suddenly turned to Cyrus in an almost accusatory manner as he asked if the thief had any badges. Scarlett was honestly surprised he had only one. She would have expected at least two with that strong looking blastoise at his back, but just one? She resisted the urge to giggle. Man, she could have crushed this guy! It was almost disappointing really, having to spend that much money on an artifact she could have easily just stolen.
Meanwhile, Scarlett's team made their way out of the pokemon center after getting Mako and Nala healed up. Cypher had stored a few free potions from the center within one of his compartments, having a feeling they would need them this training session. As they walked, Cypher made some suggestions to the little lion after observing her in battle, pointing oout that it might be in her best interest to try and focus her energy and build up more powerful attacks against the enemies they were facing, seeing as they were a lot stronger than she was. Annoyed as Nala was with the porygon butting in, Nala couldn't deny that the robot had a point, so when they encountered a wild Gothita, Nala charged her thunder attack first, and then released it, knocking it out in a single hit. Nala had taken some damage however, and so before they progressed father, he used two potions on her to restore her health.

Zak raised an eyebrow at Cyrus'... "explanation" for the nickname Scarlett had received. He smirked, and scoffed, more so at her response, though, finally ordering himself another shot. "What, you couldn't tell?" he remarked, grabbing the glass as it was handed to him. He was clearly addressing her, though his gaze remained ahead. "He's practically a creative writer. Comrade." Finally, he slid a sarcastic gaze to her, lifting an eyebrow in a "Have I made my point?" sort of way. After all, just a few moments before, Cyrus had pretty much proven he wasn't too creative on his nicknames with his own ethnicity.
As far as Zak was concerned there was very little ambiguity in what Scarlett's 'interests' were. No doubt she benefited from getting badges, and they had good bragging rights and rewards of their own, but that little look she gave him... Not to mention the flirting, before and now, and all the other indications. That charming smirk crossed over his face again, and he lifted his head up, but this time let the remark go unreplied to. There was the slightest ambiguity to his smirk... but he was almost looking forward to her getting her badge, too...
Tossing his drink back, he shook his head to Cyrus' comment, even though he was in agreement that self restraint did not fall into his interests. Certainly not when it didn't benefit him in some way, at least. He quirked an eyebrow as he set the glass down, giving Cyrus a curious but guarded look. "Strange colored pokemon? What kind?" he asked, his accent nearly slipping back in. He gave a nod to the bartender, this time simply ordering himself a beer, and stood up from his seat, stretching his arms over his head and arching his back a bit. He preferred standing, honestly. He spent enough time lounging on his computer that when he had the chance, he'd rather stay on his feet.
He gave a grateful nod to the tender as his drink was brought, glancing over at Scarlett as she commented on Cyrus' 'price', a smirk curling over his face. "I agree..." he remarked, eying the woman and allowing a bit of interest in his expression. She really was turning out to be interesting... but they'd see how long that lasted. He took a drink of his beer, smirking more as she taunted him, and this time gracing her with a full turn of his head and a very challenging look to his expression. "Glad you're catching on, Mishka," he murmured in a low, purring voice, before drawing back and turning his attention back to Cyrus. Oh, he figured she wasn't 'catching on' so much as naturally smart enough to know when to call him on his bs, but he wanted to voice his approval all the same. He would be disappointed if she were naive enough to trust him, though... seeing if he could play that line, in the future, may be interesting... He was fairly certain that would be a very difficult game to play with Scarlett, though. She seemed like a woman who had her guard up nearly all the time.
The enjoyment he was clearly getting from his conversation with Scarlett vanished when he got Cyrus' answer on his badges. His disapproval was incredibly evident in the frown on his face as he stared at the slighter male, and it was taking most of his self control not to smack him, hard, over the back of his head. Finally the Russian's eyes narrowed, and his hand tightened on his bottle as he lifted it up a bit. "I see... You're wasting a powerful pokemon's potential, slacking off like that," was all he said. He would have more words for him later. If Cyrus was being observant enough, he might be able to catch on and have some expectation for that. For now, though, Zak simply turned ahead, taking a drink of his beer. It was their turn to try and keep the conversation going.

"Tch. Yes, like i care to actually come up with anything better." Cyrus rolled his eyes, grumbling. He didn't much care what was thought of him not coming up with spectacular nicknames. He didn't really like nicknames in the first place, anyways. The conversation between Tits and Zak continued, though Cy just ignored it pretty much. Then, Zak asked about the strangely colored pokemon. "Eh. They weren't their normal colors, but i got a swirlix, whimsicott, lilligant, buneary and chansey. Shouldn't be too hard to find someone to buy them." Cyrus responded, then wondered if he was asking because he might be interested in buying... nah, that can't be it. Besides, those things went down in one hit each from Rita.
The conversation moved on to a mention of his 'price', which tits couldn't contain herself at. Ew, of course she'd like to 'play games'. It certainly wasn't surprising that Zak agreed. No wonder he was hanging around Tits. "If someone likes my goods, they better be paying for it. If not, I couldn't give a ********> Cyrus commented quite simply, obviously not bothered that he actually has an asking price. Seriously though, he couldn't even think of a time he actually enjoyed such a thing. Especially without being paid.
Once Zak finally responded after Cyrus said he only had one badge, Cyrus felt a bit of dread settle in on him. s**t. He was going to get a talking to after, wasn't he? From experience, trying to get away just made it worse. So, he just ordered another Zombie and started drinking it down. There wasn't any comment he could make with a response like that, especially knowing from that look and that tone in his voice that he'd be getting more.

He asked if she couldn't tell, and Scarlett snickered quietly, but when he mentioned that he was practically a creative writer, putting emphasis on the comrade quip Cyrus had made earlier, Scarlett let out a full on gleeful giggle that even surprised herself, not that it showed through her laughter. It was more surprising that her laugh wasn't some sort of jeering snicker like it usually was, but... That was damn funny, and Scarlett was both amused and pleased, in spite of Cyrus' objection that he just didn't care to come up with anything better. Honestly it was a shame she didn't have much more to add, but frankly part of telling a good joke or jeer was knowing when to stop, and Scarlett was more than happy to leave this jeer where it was. Zak could have the last word, he'd certainly earned it.
Admittedly, Scarlett hadn't been paying much attention to Cyrus and Zak's conversation about Cyrus' work. He was being vague about it anyways, and therefore boring in Scarlett's opinion. However, when Cyrus mentioned finding pokemon that weren't their normal colors, Scarlett was mildly intrigued. At least, enough to start listening a bit more intently. "See, tha's somethin' I've never really understood... Neu, I can appreciate a pretty pokemon, especially ifn tha colors be rare, but I daen't see tha real appeal. It's not like they're any stronger or have special moves or anythin.... They be makin' far some nice visual appeal, but anyone stupid enough to pay so much far such a thin' is just..." She shook her head. "Well, unless ya be plannin' ta enter into a contest that is. Crowds would love that sart of thing." She amended thoughtfully. Sure her suggestions might end up making Cyrus a few extra bucks but she didn't really care. She was the jealous type, sure, but not when it came to wealth. Well, usually anyways. There were always exceptions. As far as Cyrus' "price" went however, Scarlett had to comment, and Zak's agreement only continued her content mood, quite happy with the way things were going. Cyrus' retort was even better than she thought it would be. "Yeah, quite literally." Scarlett snickered.
Dare she say, she was actually enjoying this little get together, Cyrus' sourpuss mood and all. While she felt annoyed, it was admittedly a helpful break from Zak's charms, giving her plenty of breaks to keep her head about her. She refused to let Zak charm her too much just yet, but given that she'd now had two shots of scotch and a white russian, and was now holding a third scotch, she was debating if it was too dangerous to continue. Sure she would still be functional, but she knew she didn't trust Zak or Cyrus enough to actually get drunk around them. Especially considering that Zak was really... Testing her limits. Whether he knew it or not. Either way, she had to call him out on his bold faced lie. When she did however, he met her gaze fully, rather than a sideways glance, and practically purred as he replied that he was glad she was catching on. Arceus he was almost too much, and Scarlett both loved and hated it. The interesting combination displayed itself on her face in the form of a s**t eating smirk and a spark of... Something in her eyes. Be it interest, a challenge, or lust, perhaps a combination of all three.
Troublesome. He was going to be troublesome, but she had said herself that she liked trouble, so really she'd been asking for it but... Dearie dear... Perhaps she really had dug herself too deep this time. It probably would have been better if she'd just made her escape back in that little town instead of trying to drag Zak into it. How the hell was she supposed to know at the time that things would turn out this way though? Her thoughts were distracted however when Zak turned the question of badges onto Cyrus though, and the sheer disapproval and irritation on Zak's stony expression was a sight to see. Gosh, and she thought he was scary when he held her at gunpoint before. Now watching it directed at someone else though, particularly Cyrus, it was actually pretty attractive, and hilarious. She really had to fight the urge to laugh at Cyrus' realization of the impending doom he'd brought on himself. It was priceless, but Scarlett smothered her amusement by sucking down the shot she'd been debating over for a while, turning the glass over on the counter and deciding that she would end her drinking there. With that, she turned her attention to Zak. Cyrus had unknowingly done her the favor of distracting Zak when she needed a chance to recompose, she figured it was only fair she return it. "So what about you a stór? You've been askin' us all these questions, but ya haven't answered far ya'self yet. Neu I'm curious. Got any plans far this evening, or tha near future? And just how many of tha league badges do you have under your belt, hm...?" She inquired curiously.

Zak only smirked at Cyrus' grumbling to their teasing. Such a poor sport... The expression on the Russian's face said essentially the same thing, and he kept it until he was sure Cyrus could feel his stare, if not see the look, before diverting his attention. He took a drink of his beer while he listened to Cyrus list the pokemon that he'd found. No joke they weren't their normal colors, that's why he'd asked in the first place. He rolled his eyes, though, simply taking another sip instead of jibing at the man. Poor short Cyrus was probably going to get fed up if they didn't give him some kind of break, even if it wasn't one he was aware they were giving him.
Before he could respond, though, Scarlett spoke up, and he quirked an eyebrow. He lowered his drink, looking at her as she spoke. Personally, he liked some of those pokemon with strange markings. Like Totodile. Or Swirl. Boo. Even Meebus' colors weren't bad. But he agreed-- that didn't mean they were worth a ton of money. Maybe worth a little more, for him, due to the visual impact, but that didn't mean he would shell out as much as some of the fancey pants procurers out there. A smirk curled over his face when Scarlett commented on how stupid the people that did that were. "Don't you profit from those idiots, Mishka...?" he asked with amusement. He quirked an eyebrow when she mentioned contests, briefly wondering if she actually had any experience with that. He would guess... most likely not; the information she was giving was pretty general. It was good (lucrative) thinking, though. How generous of her.
He grinned and looked over towards Cy, though, when he commented on 'not giving a ********'. "Literally," he remarked at almost the same time as Scarlett. He quirked an eyebrow and glanced back at her. Great minds... He took another drink of his beer, trying to reign himself in; it was getting much harder, with the conversation as enjoyable as it was, not to let his accent slip. He had to force it into sounding more like something else just so it wouldn't be audible, and it was making the false accent he was using sound more French. Which would have been funny to him, if it didn't work well enough.
His amusement returned when she questioned him, and he looked over at her, letting Cyrus stew in the knowledge of the trouble he'd brought onto himself. He raised an eyebrow, looking at her, and instead of replying immediately, brought up his watch. He tapped at it, reading something, then smirking in more amusement, and looking back to her. He had taken the chance to look up 'a stor', so he didn't keep forgetting. Clever. He wouldn't comment on that now, though. "I plan to train," he replied rather simply, "And then train... And then train." His smirk curled up a bit more. "But I'll plan on taking a break for you, Mishka." He took another drink of his beer and set it down, glancing at the upside down cup he finally noticed on the counter before her. Hm... He looked back up, his smile turning into a flashy toothy grin. "And I have six badges. Which is... more than you two put together," he replied, giving a gesture, "Not that I'm bragging."
He was most definitely bragging. The glint to his eye confirmed it as he picked up his beer for another drink, though his gaze remained on her. He hadn't missed the look on her face earlier. He wasn't oblivious to the almost tangible static in the air between them. He was enjoying it. And... he was a bit grateful for Cyrus being there so they couldn't really act on it. Teasing was more fun. At least.... for now.

Or rather, just idiots in general. "But o' caurse. Such idiocy should be taken advantage of." She agreed. "I'm not complainin', I'm just sayin' I don't understand tha thinkin' behind it, see?" Scarlett explained with a dismissive shrug. When the subject of Cyrus' price came up though, Scarlett was amused by how annoyed Cyrus was, almost defensive about his methods as if it were perfectly reasonable. Scarlett couldn't argue, but she could tease. Sex was great and being payed for it was even better, but it wasn't interesting or exciting when she mixed business and pleasure. The game was much more enjoyable, and she wasn't the only one who had that opinion. She smirked a bit, happy to know she and Zak were so alike. Not only would it make this particular game more enjoyable, but it meant he would be easier to read, since they thought so alike. It was almost uncanny how alike they thought, they even said the same response in unison when Cyrus insisted he couldn't give a ********. She met Zak's glance with a little smirk of her own, laughing quietly as she downed her third scotch and turned it over, silently proclaiming that she was finished with her drinking tonight. Sure she could have handled more, much more, but this was about as reckless as she was willing to get while still trusting her instincts and reflexes around these two.
It was a little more exciting than she would have liked to admit, finally finding an equal on her playing field. She contained herself well thanks to her own self discipline and Cyrus' distractions. However, she was also starting to notice that as the night went on, Zak' accent seemed to be slipping into some sort of french sounding dialect, though it was a bit off. She made note of it, but didn't comment, rather enjoying it. Linguistics were her forte after all, she appreciated an accent or a foreign language when she read or heard it. He grew silent though, and in the interest of getting Zak talking more, and not to mention, answering his own questions, she turned the inquisition on him, interested in hearing what his plans were. He sure took his time in answering her though, waiting for a moment to tap and glance over his watch. What, was he checking his schedule or something? Scarlett resisted the urge to snort, and was rewarded with an answer. Training, and lots of it. Much like herself. Ugh, at this rate she likely wasn't going to end up catching up to him, but she damn well was going to try. If she kicked her team's training into high gear and he happened to take it more leisurely, then she had a chance. These thoughts crossed her mind while her expression remained passive aggressively confident as per usual, and only grew more cocky when he insisted that he planned to make time for her. "Oh good, I would be upset if you couldn't keep your promise~" She teased lightly, but she was both understating and sugarcoating, and trying desperately not to think about Klepto. If Zak ended up being another Klepto, someone was going to die.
She doubted Zak would do that though. He at the very least seemed to know better than to double cross an alliance, but one could never be too careful. Scarlett knew better than to trust anyone but herself. Sure she gave some people the benefit of the doubt in certain areas, some more so than others, but she never put complete trust in anyone. It was a lesson deeply ingrained into her brain, and one she wouldn't soon forget. Zak soon moved on to the second part of her question, stating that he'd ascertained six badges in total, which was more than Scarlett and Cyrus put together. Not that he was bragging. "A'caurse not. Braggin'? You? Neva." Scarlett snickered. "An' prey tell, are those six badges all from one region, or are some from one region, and some from another?" Scarlett asked innocently. He was getting a little full of himself, and Scarlett couldn't resist the opportunity to embarrass him a little. Mainly since she hadn't seen him flustered yet, and men were oh so cute when they blushed, and Zak was pretty cute when upset too. Sure she would prefer him not to be upset at her, but something like this should have been harmless. At worst he would probably just glare at her and not say anything, and at this point she could afford it. She wasn't looking for more drinks anyways. "I would be mare impressed ifn ya got them all from one region, cause I could have just as many as you ifn I went region hoppin' far badges." She pointed out. She might actually try that now that she'd thought of it. It would probably help train up some of her other members. She doubted Zak would accept those badges as her "fourth badge" reward marker though. No, he'd probably meant when she took on Crasher Wake and got her fourth Sinnoh badge, but technically he'd only said "fourth badge"....

Zak tilted his head with a smirk. Well... at least she was honest. And it was a completely expected response. "Sounds like good business..." he murmured, taking another drink of his beer. He frowned a moment as he looked at it, noticing how low it was getting. Hm. This would probably be his last drink, too. He cast a glance at the overturned shot glass before Scarlett. She seemed to be done, too. Another glance at Cyrus. Perhaps this meant this little group gathering would be wrapping up soon...
Zak grinned back at Scarlett when she 'teased' him back about keeping his promise. "Mishka, I always keep my promises..." he lied smoothly, flashing a winsome grin. Okay, yeah, not exactly true, or at least, not completely. He actually was usually good for his word, but that didn't mean he always stuck to the meaning, or intention, of a promise. For something like this, though... He certainly had no intention of trying to get out of things, or change what he promised.
Tempting as it was to take another drink of his beer to distract from Scarlett's call on his 'not bragging', he wanted to make it last. Instead he looked at her with amusement, and then grinned more when she seemed to try and call him on it again. This time, though, it backfired. He pushed his drink away, clearly amused, letting her continue, and turned, sliding his hand along the counter as he leaned forward, bringing himself down to her level, their faces close. "Mishka... That was the badges I had from one region," he drawled lowly, his natural accent starting to trickle in, "In total, I have nine." His lips curled up into a fierce smirk and his daring gaze locked onto hers, before he finally pulled back, his expression cocky as he grabbed his beer again. "Just go ask Skyla. I'm sure her little bird is still smoking," he added, taking another drink of his beverage.

Cyrus rolled his eyes a bit at tit's 'advice'. Of course there was a specific type of person to sell special colored pokemon to. Sure, they didn't get any stronger with abnormal colors under normal circumstances, but there was certainly a lucrative market for them. "Yeah... thanks for the 'refresher' course, dumb b***h..." he grumbled in his thoughts. Like he didn't already know how to find the fools that would pay a bit more for a pretty pokemon.
He was sipping his drink while the other two continued to talk. It was pretty normal for him to not be overly social, and since it seemed that Zak was holding more interest in Scarlett at the moment, he remained quiet for the most part. His phone suddenly beeped, and he pulled it out, looking at the message. It was just Apollo. He saved the number to his contacts, but before he could put his phone away, it beeped again. Yet another message from Apollo. However, this time... it was a lot more risque of a message. Cyrus' face went crimson almost immediately, shoving his phone rather violently into one of his pouches - earning a surprised squeak from Stow. Unknown to Cyrus, that action caused a combination of spaces and random characters to get sent back to Apollo. The dark skinned male was rather quite flustered... what the heck was that message for!?! It definitely wasn't Virus... as much as he'd rather believe it was. In his state of shock and realizing that he was still sitting there with Zak and tits, he promptly dropped his face onto the bar counter to hide. Perhaps a little too hard.
