Alex, along with Eevee made it to Cerulean City, it didn't take too long though, but it was one more part of his journey complete. This was the first time he had ever been to this city, so seeing it for the first time, he was excited. It was just as picturesque as he had imagine and he knew for sure that the gym here used water pokemon. Cerulean City was always on the top of his list to see in Kanto, it was perfect for a water pokemon trainer. Despite all that, he wasn't able to even battle that gym yet, not until he took on Brock in Pewter. It was disappointed that he couldn't spend longer there. Either way, he hadn't taken a break since returning to Kanto, so it made sense to head onto the pokemon center. Alex still had his team from Johto ready for battle, so changing them around seemed like a good idea. At least if he kept Eevee's pokeball in his bag, the normal type could stay at his side, but wouldn't be able to battle officially. This was a good way to let his other pokemon experience the adventure. With thinking of that and all the possible combinations of pokemon running through his mind, Alex headed toward the pokemon center, which was already in sight. "Just one pit stop this time, Eevee, then we'll try making it through the mountain."

Alex was able to find the pokemon center and as he got there, he opened the door and walked inside. He decided that it'd be best to sort out his pokeballs before he might switch out to pokemon in the PC. Then after all that, he might consider getting them healed completely back to full health. Either way, Alex wanted to get to it, so he found a free spot on a bench and took a seat. Eevee hopped down to the bench next to her trainer and looked back toward him. He took his backpack off and placed it down in front of him, before unzipping the main pocket. Alex saw all six in the bag and then looked toward the six on his belt. "Alright, lets see. I'll put these in and then the others go to my belt." He said out loud for Eevee to hear as his pokemon watched on.["If you think that's for the best, still staying out of the pokeball though."]Alex couldn't help, but laugh at Eevee, kind of knowing what she was trying to say. "Yeah, no worries, you can stick with me however long you'd like." He said before actually doing as he said and switching out two pokeballs for two in the bag and replacing them on his belt. With that sorted away, he got back to his feet with his backpack in hand before heading over to the PC.

Alex headed over to the PC and sat down as he began to use it. He looked through all the pokemon he had in the box, but to him, it felt as though he had the pokemon with him that he needed to restart his adventure in Kanto. Though he did have some ideas of what would be a good in the future. With that done and out of the way, he signed out and got back up to his feet. Next he decided to head over to the front counter to have his pokemon healed before heading to Mt. Moon. Alex gave his pokemon to Nurse Joy and waited patiently for her to heal his pokemon back to full health. Once she came back with his pokeballs, he thanked her and put them back on his belt as Alex turned and headed toward the front doors. "Alright, I think we're ready to get through Mt. Moon, Eevee." With that said, he opened the doors and started to make his west toward Mt. Moon.

Alex was happy to have visited Cerulean City, but for the time being, he was glad to be leaving. Being in the city where water pokemon we're popular was one he had always wanted to go to, but it was sad that he couldn't take on the gym just yet. The faster he was finished with Mt. Moon and Pewter City, the quicker he could take on the water type gym. He would be back eventually, that was a guarantee, so it was probably for the best that he was moving on fast. Alex looked toward Eevee, still perched on his shoulder, she didn't seem to be too worried, so he smiled and continued on his way toward the city limits of Cerulean City, heading west.

Figured I'd collect a shard while I was here. Pretty sure this is still going on. If not than I missed something. lol I don't plan on actually RPing getting the shard, but I would like to start getting them. From what I read, this should be okay.
Alex Cross Water Pokemon Trainer
Alex continued walking through Cerulean City, knowing where he was headed next made things easier. With his goal in mind, he finally made it to the city limits, he looked back behind him, but wasn't too sad since he'd be back soon, if things worked out. Alex left Cerulean City and started to head down the route toward Mt. Moon. It was easy to see in the distance, mountains had a funny way of always letting their presence be known. It might take a while to get through Mt. Moon, but with his pokemon and experience so far as a trainer, he'd manage to find his way to Pewter City. "It's been a long time since we tried our luck with a mountain, I wonder what pokemon we'll run into... though chances are most won't be water types." Eevee let out a sigh as Alex, once again showed his love for water pokemon. There were other types and he did seem to be trying to like more than water type pokemon, but was still so blatant about it.

Cyrus, now out of the cave, looked over Cerulean City. There was definitely more opportunity here for stealing. Argo squawked, taking to the air now that they weren't in a dark cave. Rita felt a bit more at home in this city, perhaps due to the amount of water nearby. "THERE YOU ARE YOU a**. WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING, LEAVING US BEHIND!" a sharp, angry voice shot through Cyrus' head. The male flinched a bit, holding a hand up to his right ear. "The hell, Perse. Why can't you just stay gone instead of shouting in my head like that?" Cyrus groaned. The Meowstic was now there, holding her ball and the Treecko's ball. She certainly didn't look pleased whatsoever. "Why can't you get it through your thick skull that you actually need me? And that I'm going to always hunt you down when you leave me somewhere." Perse growled, ears twitching in annoyance. She had half the mind to brain wash her trainer, but hopped up to shove her ball and Treecko's into one of his pouches. The Meowstic huffed, but stayed nearby. Rita stared at the encounter, rather confused as to why Perse would actually keep coming back to this guy. There must have been some reason.

It wasn't long before another trainer from the mountain approached Cyrus, asking for a battle. The dark skinned male rolled his eyes at the trainer, turning to walk away, but Rita already jumped forward, ready for the challenge. "Fine. You better make it worth my time, Rita..." Cyrus grumbled, crossing his arms as Rita initiated the battle with the ground type trainer. First up was a Golett, which she devastated with two bite attacks, and the Rhyhorn, Graveler and pupitar that followed didn't even have a chance. Once the battle was over, and before the trainer could run off, Cyrus demanded his winnings before letting the guy go. Clearly upset about how the battle went, the trainer forked over some cash before rushing off to heal his team. The dark haired male started to feel a bit good about his starter. Perhaps she was a good money maker after all. Could be useful to keep around such a strong pokemon that he didn't have to even tell what to do anymore.
Round 1: trainer sent out Golett Rita stepped forward for the challenge! Rita is a higher level, and gets the first move! Rita used Bite! It's super effective! 60 + 10 (attack buff) x 2 = 140 damage to Golett! [Golett: 10/150] Golett flinched!
Round 2: Rita used Bite! It's super effective! 60 + 10 (attack buff) x 2 = 140 damage to Golett! [Golett: 0/150] Golett fainted! [+10 xp to Rita] Rhyhorn is sent out
Round 3: Rita used Water Pulse! It's super effective!! 60 + 10 (attack buff) x 4 = 280 damage to Rhyhorn! [Rhyhorn: 0/190] Rhyhorn fainted! [+15 xp to Rita] Graveler is sent out!
Round 4: Rita used Water Pulse! It's super effective!! 60 + 10 (attack buff) x 4 = 280 damage to Graveler! [Graveler: 0/190] Graveler fainted! [+15xp to Rita] Pupitar is sent out!
Round 5: Rita used Water Pulse! It's super effective!! 60 + 10 (attack buff) x 4 = 280 damage to Pupitar! [Pupitar: 0/190] Pupitar fainted! [+15xp to Rita] Rita is the victor!

After that battle, Cyrus counted out his winnings before tucking it away. Rita was proving to be... quite lucrative. Perhaps picking a starter turned out to be pretty darn good this time. He never thought he'd actually find a starter that he could get used to. It was usually just claim them and sell them.

Cyrus figured that he could do with some stealing at the moment, having noticed someone in town that seemed to have a 'heavy' bag. Argo had pointed it out to him, flying above, so the dark skinned male investigated quietly from a distance. There seemed to be quite a few discs sticking out of his bags. If he was right, those discs were likely tms, which could fetch him a good price, if not be used to make his pokemon stronger. Perse rolled her eyes as Cy thought of a way to get the tms quickly. It was going to be pretty obvious he took it, with that method he was thinking of. But the Meowstic decided to just let him go for it. Rita, however, was out of the loop, so when Cy bolted forward, roughly bumping the person and snatching the discs, the wartortle seemed confused and annoyed. Not again... she didn't want to be left behind to deal with his crap again!

Cyrus' escape plan wasn't quite good, as he didn't expect the trainer to send out his pokemon to chase after him. "Nice going, genius." Perse stated, running along side her trainer as an Arbok chased them down. Argo landed on Cyrus' head, tucking his body in close and clinging tight. Rita, however, was determined to best this Arbok, shooting off a blast of water in it's direction. Cyrus grit his teeth at the mental jab that his meowstic gave him. But then suddenly - "There's your ticket out of here. Come on, Rita." Perse said, then shouted back to the wartortle. Ahead was a hex maniac with a gengar out of ball, and it seemed she was offering teleportations to some kind of haunted house thing. Persephone's ears opened and she focused her energy on them, and forced them to teleport them to a different region's haunted house, Rita just barely catching the teleport.

Finally, they reached the exit to Mt. Moon and stepped out into the light of the sun. They made it back through the mountain and probably wouldn't need to try his luck there again. Alex could return, once he was able to teach his pokemon Fly. Other than that, he didn't see the reason for remembering his fears. Eevee on the other hand hoped that they'd be able to get him to face his fears, soon enough, they'd probably run into another bug type. With those thoughts behind him, he started to head for nearby Cerulean City. Just before reaching the city limits, he came to a stop and looked around. It didn't take him to spot a grassy area with trees in various places within. This would be a great place to train, though which pokemon would he use first? "Time to train for this next battle, Eevee. I know she uses water pokemon, but defeating her with my own water types, that sounds like a lot more fun." Alex said with a chuckle as he walked over and into the grassy area. Eevee let out a sigh, her trainer was an odd one, he just destroyed Brock with a strong water type, now this time, he wanted to make the battle tougher on himself.

Alex walked into the grassy area and began the serch for wild pokemon. This was for training, so Eevee had jumped back down to the ground and followed along. Even though she wasn't going to be battling, she wanted the other pokemon to have a fair shot at getting strong. That wasn't the reason Alex wanted to train his pokemon, he hadn't quite had the chance to form a bond with his other pokemon. This was close to a restart of his pokemon adventure, but he had a few advantages. Instead of catching pokemon, he already had a fair amount he hadn't got a chance to train with. Of course they'd get stronger with training, but that was always secondary for the water pokemon trainer. Either way, Alex continued the search and after a few minutes of walking, there was the sound of rustling leaves. Eevee and her trainer both looked up at the same time. It was a pokemon, this had to be some kind of luck to find one so soon. The wild pokemon dropped down from the tree, it hadn't noticed the duo until it did. "A Mankey, that settles it, M for Mudkip." Alex said with a chuckle as he took Mudkip's pokeball and let the shiny out of his pokeball.

Alex knew that Mudkip was the best choice for the first battle. The shiny pokemon looked around after coming out of the pokeball and looked back toward his trainer. With a nod, Alex spoke to the Mudkip and gave his battle instructions. Mudkip was happy to get the chance to battle and even though the wild Mankey put up quite the fight, the end result was in favor of the water type. "Great job, Mudkip, you were great." He said, before Mudkip walked back over to him. Alex was going to let the pokemon have a nice long rest in his pokeball, but before he could, Mudkip began to glow a bright blue. Having seen this before, the trainer knew right away just what was happening. Alex smiled happily as another of his pokemon have evolved. Marshtomp looked around again at the surrounding area and his trainer, everything seemed to be a little different as he took in his own evolution. "That's awesome, you evolved into Marshtomp." He said before quickly scanning his own pokemon with his pokedex. Training appeared to be going well already, he would need to continue onto the next pokemon.
