T-Junction
Though he'd stopped gasping for air when the demon disappeared and the fairy returned, there was still the firm and unpleasant ache in his stomach. But it was soon gone with a wave of her tiny hand, and he sighed. "Yeah, I'm fine now." He stood up straight again with a smile, looking down as the last wisp of darkness disappeared from where the demon had fallen.
"Should we keep going?" He hesitated a moment before heading down the path they'd started on, but unfortunately encountered another t-junction in the maze. "Um... I guess it's your turn to play rock paper scissors." He smiled a little at Cesc and Justin, shrugging one of his shoulders.

"I'm glad to hear it," said Cesc to the fairy, smiling slightly as she healed Ian. He went over to the man instantly as she left, patting him on the shoulder. "I think we all did better this time. It's not bad training, really. You can fight off plenty of... everyday demons, now, yeah?"
He held out his hand to Justin as they neared the junction. "Alright. Rock, Paper, Scissors -- one, two, three!"
This time, the stag held out two fingers.

"Thanks, sweetlips." He saluted the fairy sloppily, then looked over at Ian. No injuries present. With a shrug, he formed his hand into paper - the default choice for Justin.
"Guess we're going this way, eh."

[10] - Dead end
As they moved down the fork, it was clear they'd gotten another dead end. Justin sighed and wished dearly for a bath. He was glad his shoulder had stopped hurting. But, although it was healed instantaneously, he thought he could still feel the long gash bisecting his arm. Shivering, he rubbed it. It was just his imagination getting away from him. His pale green eyes scanned Ian carefully. Without warning, he loped over to him, grabbed the hem of the other man's shirt and yanked it up a bit.
"Making sure the fairy did her job. I.. don't trust magic." He pressed his palm briefly to Ian's stomach, then poked him. "Hmmm."

"I think this is all magic," said Cesc good-naturedly, turning and starting down the path that they'd neglected. He smiled at Justin, trying to be encouraging. "So I guess mistrust everything equally?"

Suddenly his stomach was exposed to the cold foggy air and Ian jerked back a little, eyes wide. "What?" He flushed a little at the sudden invasion of space, but didn't...particularly mind? He was comfortable with Justin, though the little smear of the giant's honey-blood that ended up on his stomach wasn't very pleasant. "I-I'm fine, I promise-!" He laughed a little, ducking away after Justin poked him. He was ticklish, and Justin had found a sensitive spot. "So I... I-I guess we just go back and go the other way?"

Cesc nodded. "It's really our only option," he said, looking over his shoulder as he went down the pathway. Almost immediately, he felt his ribbon bumping over something -- if he had been human, he would have almost certainly tripped.
"Huh, what's this?" He knelt, fluttering his wings and allowing the feathers to light, casting a golden glow over the ground.

(( +3 HP reserve, wow good job Ian. :T))
Ian nearly walked right into Cesc when the Sigel stopped, squinting a little in the sudden like from his wings before smiling. "Supplies? Nice." He knelt to dig through the pile, selecting a small package and holding it up to get a better look. "Wait, this is food... Does it even do anything?" He pocketed the candy nonetheless, making sure he had a good grip on his weapon.

"If you all say so..." Justin said skeptically, but dropped Ian's shirt. Although now, he definitely knew where to stick his hands if if got chilly later. Ian gave off heat like a fire. He turned to root about in the supplies, pulling out a package that crinkled.
"Is this... seriously a twinkie?"

Cesc, for his part, pulled out what looked to be a fun-size dark Milky Way bar. He blinked, turning it over in his hands, and then -- more out of a confusion about what to do with it -- he tucked it away in his pocket.
"Halloween candy?" he ventured.

T-Junction
Ian sighed, looking rather unamused. "Can't say I'm surprised. This is a Halloween party, after all..." The nerd inside him had been hoping for a cool bottle of some brightly-colored potion or something, but no: he'd gotten some dumb Skittles. At least they were specialty "midnight" flavors.
After a bit of walking, they hit another branch of the maze with two directions to choose from. "Where to now?" He peered into the fog in either direction, trying to see if there were any threats laying in wait.

Justin shoved the twinkie in his pocket. It would smush dreadfully, but it was a twinkie, so it really didn't matter. The damn snacks could survive an apocalypse.
"Uh, I dunno. Cesc, what do your raevan eyes see?"

Cesc let out a laugh, his smile broadening. There wasn't anything too horrible that he could see, although he knew that the hedge maze didn't tend to let a party out before they'd had their fair share of horror. "Weird figures and fog, not too different from what you see. My magic's a little useless here, unfortunately."
He picked a side at random. "This way?"

[29] - T-junction
Justin yawned really loudly, his mouth stretching to almost comical size. The adrenaline had worn off for the moment. Another fork. He shrugged and turned to his companions.
"Should I, uh, just spin in a circle and see where we end up?"
