Aybliss was glad the winds were dying down. Wait...WHAT?!? FLUFFY----he growled.
"Its Aybliss lizard breath!" he hissed, not a fan of being called Fluffybut at all. He also caught the scent of others, friend or foe he would know soon as he went ahead of the other male. Showing a good view of said "fluffybutt". He let his tail thwack the male in the head for good measure before crawling to a fallen log and hiding at its side. He looked at the other male, "Proper introduction. Hi..Aybliss the zoura. You are?"
What's this? Aybliss seems to have found a potion half hidden under the log! In the main shop thread please RNG 1-3 to determine potion rarity, then using the list on the first post, RNG the proper #'s to determine which potion he just found. Be sure to mention this in your next post!

“Of course it’s Rocket.” Tryce shook his head with a slight groan. If there was anyone that loved to interfere in the underworld business it was always Rocket with their catastrophic plans. Couldn’t they just appreciate nonliving things instead of always trying to mess with the lives of pokémon? At the noise his ears pressed down against his skull but the suggestion from Shou made the umbreon laugh, “I say a lullaby is due to them.”
His whole body vibrated with dark energy as he prepared himself to attack.
“With the way it’s causing such chaos?” The shiny ampharos purred in her throat as she rubbed a hand along her friend’s arm, “I’m dying to jump into this ocean of trouble~” And knowing that team Rocket was involved? This was a definite ‘hell yeah!’ situation for her. She hated those bastards worse than a tear in a favorite outfit. “Well darlin’ if you’re supporting us then I feel even more encouraged.” She smiled brightly, “I’ll keep you safe don’t worry. Plus Raiden is here and you know how intimidating he can be.” Winking she looked towards her twin playfully before watching Bethane suddenly charge. Well s**t. Though admittedly the girl was proud of her friend’s strength the worry was there. If ever Raxka was careful it was because of her soft hearted friend.
She had to help!
Static raced down her arms and throughout her whole body as she sent out a wave of electric discharge towards the rocket forces. Another movement caught her gaze though as her brother dashed before her after the miltank protectively. A ripple of electricity moved down his katana as a dragon pulse emerged from his body to push back the forces as well.
Her distraction from fighting allowed her to watch Will’s escape. Before the grunt tripped over the Cubone the shiny ampharos was already in motion and running after the girafarig. Raiden and Tryce could protect Bethane, but she shouldn’t let Will go alone either.
Cursing her luck at not getting to truly fight this round the shiny ampharos dove through the bushes and into the shadows after their other friend.
Tryce was already watching Shou’s back as he started to view the forces coming around them, “More like looks like they’ll not be getting out of this one.” Grinning with the rush of a good fight the teen began to move in after Shou to throw in his own punches.
As Raxka crashes through the bushes, a glint off a bottle just ahead can be seen. How did Will miss that I wonder! In any case, in the main shop thread please RNG 1-3 to determine potion rarity, then using the list on the first post, RNG the proper #'s to determine which potion he just found. Be sure to mention this in your next post!

Escher's eyes lifted, staring off to the foliage that the group entered through just a moment later. Venka looked to them as soon as they entered the area. They both sensed the other Legendaries before they'd arrived, but it was still a surprise to see them in a state similar to their own. Their shock was evident on their faces, regardless.
Venka couldn't help but chuckle at Holly's reaction to more people showing up. "I believe ve are in the company of friends, young one." She placed a gentle hand on her shoulder and looked back to the group. "Greetings. I am assuming you have felt that something is amiss and that's vhy you have come as vell?" Venka looked directly at Phee while asking the question, but seemed to address everyone.
"We are still quite a ways off yet." Escher rubbed his temples with a hand, the fatigue weighing on him heavily. "We need to press onward."
The Victini girl frowned at the downed Palkia, "Ve cannot until you're vell enough to move." She spun to look to the newest arrivals, a thought in her mind. "You do not happen to have something that could help, do you?"

Jormungandr opened his mouth to speak of his original plans when something came flying out of nowhere.
"ARGH!" Jor let out a howl of pain as the bottle pelted him in the head. One hand came swiftly to his bruising forehead as the other bolted out and caught the bottle before it tumbled into the abyss of mayhem below. He snarled, rubbing the spot of impact, bringing the bottle closer for inspection. "I'm fine!" He waved Nidhogg's fretting hands away as he tried to look at the bottle. He rolled it around, taking in the strange markings on the glass. "I do not recognize any of this writing." His face crinkled into a grimace and he pocketed the bottle in his robes. "I'll have to do further research on this later, there are more important matters at hand." He growled again and
"I see they've resulted to disrespecting their betters!" Jor put his fingertips together, pointing at his brother with them. "I do believe that we need to go teach those old men what the meaning of respect is." A sly grin tugged at the corner of his mouth. The bruise had darkened, almost blending in with his dark scales. "I may remember where their silly little 'shrine' is." He opened his hands and made a quotation gesture around the word "shrine."

More than relieved to hear the agreement, Riley was more than happy to lead away from the chaos, tugging on the other boy's arm to get him going. He didn't want to have to walk off alone! What if the Gods started moving their destruction where he was going?!
"A camp?" Riley frowned, but gave a small nod. Maybe there would be someplace to take refuge at the camp. Someplace he could tuck himself into and hide... It might not be safe there?! Why go there at all?!?! Riley managed to lift his head enough to look at the other boy's face, and it clicked. The boy must have someone special at the camp... He prayed that the camp would be safe. He wanted a place to hide...
As more people ran by, he felt something bump his foot. He jumped and looked down, only to see a bottle there. His brow rose, and he looked around for where it might come from. It would break if it stayed down there! And he might step on it, and hurt his foot; and then how would he get away?! He bent and grabbed up the bottle before tucking it into his little pack. Maybe it would help?
A trembling arm rose to point to the side. "M-m-my home's that way. It's too far off for us to go to though." Why couldn't he be home in his nice warm bed with his boy reading him a story or two with a glass of cold milk and a plate of warm cookies? He felt his eyes start to well up, and he hugged tighter to the other's arm as the sound of yelling grew even louder. He looked to the boy desperately. Everyone sounded so angry except for this boy. Oh, gods! The bottle! Would they yell at him for picking up the bottle?! “We should go to the c-c-camp! I d-don’t wanna be arrested!”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After catching her breath, Kirsi sat up and looked around. She was completely alone... If only... Well, she couldn’t just sit here! She could hear a lot of noise, but it was rather faint; blocked by the thick trees. She couldn’t go back the way she’d come, so she slid back into the new lake and sought out another tunnel. She would pop back up to the surface to check on the noise and the sky every so often. Neither seemed to be clearing up. If she couldn’t find a way under water, she would have to go over land. But, which way would she go? She’d come this far to find out the reason for the first lake having run dry, but now she wasn’t so sure she wanted to discover what was causing so much trouble...
Cecily clung to Phee's hand as they walked, glancing around idly. She'd been feeling increasingly uncomfortable lately, but could never put a name to it - and now she was somewhat frightened. She felt better sticking close to Phee, though, than she would have alone in the house.
The group at the river brought a frightened look to her face, and she ducked behind her older friend/sister, trembling to the tips of her wings. "Are you sure it's okay?" She asked, shivering and clutching tightly at the Manaphy girl. "There's nobody there who'll hurt us?" The shiny Celebi hoped not... and she doubly-so hoped Brennan wouldn't be there - she didn't think she could take it if the brother who had left her would turn up there with his terrifying stories and ideas.
---------------------------------------
Rory wasn't quite sure what she had walked into - she had just been traveling from the city she lived in toward what she had hoped would be the original place of the shrine... but she'd gotten distracted , and now the Amaura child wasn't sure where she was.
Well.... she was somewhere along a river, and there were other people around. But she didn't know any of them, and so the little girl decided to stay well away from any groups, and just watch them from a distance. Instead, she was going to take a seat here on the bank and rest for a little while.
She'd walked a long way, after all.
Things weren't exactly peaceful along the river. The water was abnormally choppy, especially for a river! The people clustered in groups were watching the water with uncertain worry...only to suddenly have water swelling up and crashing over them as the ground rumbled and the wind blew, drenching the onlookers, the wave of water moving towards Rory! Have her react to this in your next post.
-------------------------------------------
Crash. Crunch. Thump.
Alistair had no idea where he was going or even where he had been, but the little Deino really didn't care. He was gonna be a hero! Who needed to worry about things like that? Of course... that idea was starting to lose its appeal as fatigue began to set in.
Slowing down to a jog, he panted slightly as he moved, then pushed through a bush in the direction of - he thought - some voices he had heard. Maybe these were the bad guys who had made his house burn?!?
Or maybe it was just the wind, and he was being silly. Only one way to find out, though - plunge right on in that direction!
It seems Alistair might have tripped over something in the ground! Upon inspection, it's a potion! Looks like it's a potion! In the main thread please RNG 1-3 to determine the rarity of the potion, and then using the list in the first post of the Meta, determine which rarity of potion was found, then RNG 1-the proper number, to determine what potion was tripped over.
Koujen may have lashed out but he had not even been aware that he had auctally launched an attack until he saw the hooded figure drop down a bit. He tilted his head confused but he did not have much time to figure out what was happening before the figure removed a mask and sent a bright attack at him. Koujen was able to dodge one of the physic balls that were hurled at him and he just barely had time to use his Defensive Curl as he got hit with the other two ball dead on crying out a bit with pain. It was not as painful as it could have been but it still hurt.
He looked up at the other figures now seeing all the others that were with the one he had been attacked by. He shook his head and looked up angry at them, "Who is Team Rocket?" He might be one of the few blissfully ignorant wild Pokemon who never knew of the infamous group. He did not have time to wait for an answer before he found himself getting cause up with team rocket on one side and the group who had attacked him.
Now the wild Munna was becoming frightened and he was injured. This day just kept getting better and better. He did not know which way to attack or defend that he would have to just start attacking anyone that came at him.
Mariette tried not to let anger form into hatred for humans just because one scared woman was mean to her. And yet it was not too. Luckily for the innocent child a bright glint in the road caught her attention and distracted her from the growing ill feelings.
She looked at the fancy vail laying in the street and quickly moved over to pick it up. It looked rather important and was not something she though should be left where it could break. She looked around to see if she could find anyone looking for a missing vail. She clicked her mandibles giving a small bite to her lip. She looked at the bright liquid and gave a small sigh.
If she could not find the owner of it, it was not right of her to take it. And last thing she needed right now was to get accused of stealing. So she took the vail and placed it on a near by bench. She then moved towards the crowded Pokemon center to wait her turn and try to get what was left of the supplies hopping that she would get what was needed and get back before any seriously injured pokemon showed up.
(Saving the potion for a different (future) kid of mine <3)
Mariette just can't catch a break! Looks like a freak storm is opening up over the pokemon center! There is rain and thunder, strong winds and quite possibly lightning. Have Mariette react to this as she comes back out!
Bethanne stood over her fallen foe, and tossed locks of sweaty hair away from her face. She stood tall, if not a little shaken, but mostly dead locked. If it was going to come to a fight then she wouldn't lose! "You two should be watching over yourself, don't worry about me." She waited, hand on her back of medical supplies protectively as the twins moved to aid her. Her eyes moved over them, worrying over them as she did, when she looked back to where that hooded child had fallen.
With Will and Raxka in one direction, Bethanne went towards Koujen and Havard. She hadn't noticed the other child, nor did she see when Havard had lost his hood, but she did call out, "Enough now! You can accuse each other later." There was a nervous reaction to being around them, since both had used attacks on one another, but she would lead them out by their ears if she had to! Thankfully Havard moved to act, so she didn't have to worry over him, but the other boy...She leaned down to dig out a bottle of Moo Moo Milk from her bag and handed it over. "Drink it fast and come with us." Bethanne offered her hand.
Willemina sailed over broken logs and stones, moving as fast as she possibly could. There was no fight in her, only strategy. If the others wanted to get captured, so be it, but she would move to find a better way; either in, or away from Rocket territory. A few grunts gave chase, but thankfully their agility was far below hers. When they fell over the Cubone she skidded to a stop, watching as a few of the others trailed after her, as well they should have!
Around, around...around..? That's it! When Raxka was close enough to be seen, Will called out, "Use the fight as a diversion and go to the base, or to the camp, which is it." They needed to keep moving, that was certain, but which way?
~~~
"COVER YOUR EARS."
Shousuke called out as loud as he could, waited a few moments and shifted his shoulders. "Watch my back, Tryce, and move with the kid." He watched Havard, nodded his head and sighed. There was a lot of trust he was placing on them, but it wasn't as if he had much of a choice.
He could only hope his voice would carry.
As loud as he possibly could, Shousuke began to a Lullaby. He belted his voice into the air around them, channeling it as best he could towards the enemy forces. There would be no doubt that it would hit his allies as well, but that was a risk of the attack.

Lightning had gotten her tail out of the crack, when it accidentally brushed up against something in the crack. She stooped down to get a closer look and pulled out a bottle with what looked like bat wings or something like it on it. She put it into the bag she was carrying, she decided to give it to Dea when she got home. She hadn't seen a potion like it before, so hopefully her trainer knew what it was or could find out. She managed a wave to Switch when she saw the other's wave. Then she was about to turn to assure Fei that everyone would help, when she felt the ground shake again. This time she wasn't so lucky and ended up on the ground.
'I have missed you too, it has been too long since we have seen one another. Kind of obvious, considering that you have changed, I think. And you are more than welcome to come with us, it will be nice,'Callie smiled brightly at that. She had said that before she felt the ground tremor under her and she fell on her behind.
"I am sure lots of people will help. I can always ask Mama if she can help too. She would hate to see what happened here. It will be as good as ne..."Fluff began, before he found himself on the ground again. Another tremor? He looked over to see if the others were okay.

The trees falling down would have been enough to upset Brenny, but he himself falling down, crushing the cookies he had so carefully made for the angry gods, had him in tears. He rubbed at his eyes with a fist, standing up and turning to glare at the sky. Stupid landorus! Stupid legendaries, bullying everyone and making this storm!
"I didn't do anything to you!" He cried. "Not anything! Nothing! Why are you picking on me?" He took Draven's offered hand and pulled the dragonite into a hug. "Make them stop," he muttered. "Make them stop. Use hyper beam, I don't care. Just make them stop."
Oh, he wished Connie was there.
Draven had picked himself off of the ground faster than Brenny,and had quickly recognized the sign of tears. He'd wrapped his arms around the celebi, once pulled into the hug. "I don't think hyper beam will stop them," he said, sadly. "Can't you do anything? You're a legendary. They should listen to you."
"If they'd listen, none of this would have happened!" Brenny sniffed. "I want to go home!" He wanted to wrap up in a blanket next to Connie, and wait for the storm to leave.
~~~~ Theo continued forward, focused now on finding what was going on. He wondered if police would actually arrive, to take him away. But that wonder was brief, and instead he felt the urge to discover what was troubling the legendaries ahead.
Ialu's eyes went wide when he saw the ground starting to shake, eyes flickering from side to side before he just barely caught sight of the dark tail that vanished into the underbrush. It was something that drew a gasp from him before he moved to try to followed after the old God, "Ah! Wait! Landorus!" He called out, not sure if he could keep up, he was a bit smaller then the members of the Kami trio even in this new form of his, but he meant to do his best to try to keep up with him. If anyone would be able to stop the other two from making such a ruckus it would be Landorus, as such someone had to catch up with. Bravery wasn't exactly Ialu's strong suit, he was more used to hiding behind Serph, but he would do his best it if meant protecting those that he had shared his power with in the past, not to mention the other Pokemon out there that needed him.
Hurrying along after the other Legendary he found himself hoping that he might be able to catch up. It was uncertain if he could, even floating he wasn't sure if he was fast enough, but he'd do his best, "Landorus! Please, I would like to talk with you!" He called again, glad that he was up off the ground, certain that if he wasn't he'd of likely tripped over his own feet a lot time ago. He couldn't let his fears and worry get the best of him though, he want to find Landorus, for the best of all of those Pokemon and humans out there that were being caught up in the strife... he just hoped he didn't have to do any battling today as he couldn't quite recall the last time that he'd done so.
Giving a sigh of relief Nidhogg couldn't help but to feel relieved that his brother was alright. Sure, he could be a bit of a grump at times but he didn't want to see him get hurt, especially not by strange, flying debris like was getting whipped around through the air. Instead of getting hurt though his brother merely tucked the weird bottle away into his robes for 'further research' later on. Well, so long as he was careful and it wasn't poisonous he supposed that he could trust his brother to do the right thing with the weird bottle that he'd gotten pelted with.
"Teach them what respect is? Ah, sure thing Jorm!" Not really his cup of tea, he wasn't the sort that like to go too far out of his way over anything but berries, but if Jorm was so fired up about going after those grouchy old men he felt it was better to follow him then get on his bad side. Giving a smile he said, "Alright then, let's go find that... ahh... 'shrine' of theirs?" Why he was making finger quotes was beyond him, Jorm likely knew something that he didn't meaning it was just best that he followed his brother's lead... not to mention that he should probably get ready to let out a blast of Thunder or two, just in case his brother actually meant to battle the Kami Trio. Today was just getting more and more interesting... after all this was done he was going to want the longest nap ever.
Gideon set to laughing in a hissing manner, his eyes alight, finding it rather amusing that the Zorua was so up in arms over the nickname that he had given to him. He might not be as interesting as another Poison Type might be but he was most certainly one that he wouldn't mind spending this miny apocalypse with, "Aybliss the Fluffybutt, got it." He hissed back, grinning as he did so, purposefully baiting the other Pokemon now. Much to his surprise though the Zorua was soon squeezing its way into a fallen log, looking as though he meant to hide out there until the craziness ended. A good idea Giddy supposed but not something he could do. He didn't want to coil up and hide, at least not in something that might blow away.
"Zorua... you are a pretty weird looking Zorua, Fluffybutt... and since when do your kind have wings like that?" He really had to question what this guy really was. Some sort of weird, human shaped, quasi-Pokemon thing with wings that Zorua didn't have. His scent was pretty odd too. It really did make him wonder what he was and what caused him to look so... weird. Even Zoroark, who walked on two legs, didn't look nearly as odd as this one did. Ah well, no matter what sort of weirdo he was he couldn't quite condone leaving him all alone, even if he wasn't a Poison Type.
Peeking into the log he said, "We should get going, Fluffybutt, before your log blows away." Reaching into the log with his tail he wrapped it around Aybliss's wrist, trying to pull him out to where he would be safer, which was most certainly not in the log.
“Yeah, I guess it is kind of obvious, huh?” Switch chuckled. It might be a nice trip after all. The boys seemed upbeat despite the grim situation. Maybe if that tremor was the last they could have a peaceful trip. But, it’s not likely… She could not help her feelings of doubt.
The farfetch'd girl tilted her head inquisitively upon seeing a curious sight indeed: Lightning pulled her lightning-bolt tail out of a crack in the ground, then proceeded to extract a small bottle from the crack. It had little protrusions on the side like handles or wings. "What's that?" Perhaps it was a perfume bottle, or a potion. Come to think of it, she had found one earlier too. Maybe they had similar uses. "I found a bottle in the ground too. It's in my backpack."
She turned to look at said bag with the intent to show it to them, when the ground shook beneath her once again. Losing her balance, she couldn’t help but wonder if the potion would survive their trip, despite her effort to swaddle it like a baby. When the shaking subsided, she gingerly rose to her feet, dusting off her feathers and finding some bruises in the process. She winced and looked around to check on her companions. "Is everyone all right... still?" she managed.
She found that the one boy was crying. Was he hurt badly? But no, he was just upset, and talking about using violence to solve his problems. Hearing that made her angry. He had seemed like a nice boy. Maybe he was spoiled and bratty and prone to saying such things when upset. After all, she didn’t know him that well. But he had been offering to help his friend fix his home just a moment ago.
“Hey you stupid idiot,” she yelled. “Can you hear me?” Her voice echoed a bit more dramatically than expected as it wove its way through the trees in the silence following the earthquake, in search of the mysterious legendary, Landorus. “Stop picking on little kids! Stop destroying people’s homes and killing their families! Stop being a bully and fix your own problem! Who would want someone like you as their god anyway?” She probably would have continued, but her voice cracked as she started coughing. Maybe the smoke from the fire earlier had gotten to her.
Hazan was content for now to let Riley lead him back toward the woods. Riley's question focused his mind on forming ordered thoughts and replying. "Yes, I came here with a team of archaeologists to excavate the ruins of Landorus' shrine. But it’s a little ways off into the forest, and it's not on private property, so hopefully we'll be safe there." Just thinking about it gave him more strength and he was able to lead the way into the right direction. That is, until Riley stumbled on the strange bottle.
He stopped with him and watched curiously as the glowy riolu boy picked it up and looked at it. Was it an artifact? No, he realized with a little disappointment. Maybe someone dropped it. While he glanced around, he knew it must be useless to find its owner. Nobody would be looking for it now.
It was then that he observed the crowd’s nature changing with the arrival of a mob of Officer Jennys (on motorcycle?). He hoped that they were far enough from the others that they would not be noticed or blamed. And since neither he nor Riley was here to cause trouble, perhaps it would be all right if they fled the scene. After all, it wasn't safe for them!
His hasty examination of their moral standing was set aside: Riley was very upset, and for good reason. Hazan offered him a hug. "It'll be all right! We'll go to camp. They're all level-headed adults that weren't involved in this. They'll know what to do. And then we'll make sure you can get home safe! Let's go!"
"He attacked first. How was I supposed to know?" Havard could no longer perceive Koujen as a threat, however. As the only other child in this area, Koujen seemed simply quiet and scared, surrounded by strangers. The ones who were going to leave had already left, Will and the female ampharos. He was unsure what Koujen and Bethanne would do though. So he shifted the translucent greenish Barrier to encircle them for now, even though Raiden had moved over by Bethanne, protecting them from Team Rocket's advance with an impressive glowing sword attack. Those two would be safe with him.
He turned his attention back to Shousuke and Tryce. After the umbreon's initial distrust of him, he had seemed to ignore Havard's presence up until now. It became a surprise when Shousuke asked them to work together as he prepared to sing a Lullaby. Recognizing the name of the move from his studies, Havard nodded and covered his ears. "Okay." He suspected they would go after Rocket once their vulnerability to the song had reduced their forces. He kept a close eye on Tryce to respond to any cues, and in the meantime, the air before the mewtwo child subtly began to glow violet.
Phee squeezed the young Celebi's hand to calm her a little. "I can't promise they won't try to hurt us, but I can promise I'll do everything I can to keep you safe." her words were gentle and meant to be reassuring. As they got close she gave a smile to Venka, a nod of her head given. "That's right. I decided I couldn't sit back any longer and needed to find out whats going on...and it's obvious something is." very obvious. There was a smile given to Holly at her words a light chuckle given. She could tell the piplup was startled, but that had been an amusing reaction none the less.
Llyr, seeing the one on the ground did move forward as he dug through his pouch and he held out a handful of berries he'd collected on their walk. "Here these might help with regaining strength and all." or so he hoped anyhow. Though he was also swinging his bag around and dug out a small potion bottle. It wasn't a super potion or anything but maybe it would help.
Phee meanwhile was crouching beside Holly, hand still on Cecily's. "Are you alright? I'm sorry we startled you. Cecily can you get the water from my bag for her please?"
That one senses me...I need to be on my guard lest I'm seen. That would not be a good thing at all....last thing I want to explain is where I came from, why I've been following them, or where some of my supplies and other items came from. A slight smile crossed her face as she recalled the potion she had found while searching through the blue ones home. It was an interesting bottle and she was itching to learn more about it. Maybe it would fetch a decent price. For now, she was watching Cardice from the shadows of the tree wondering just how well he could see her....and so she waved a dark hand curiously.
Due to the action orientated nature of the next section of the Myrrh/Margarita portion of the Meta (and the fact that they are nowhere near anyone else, doing their own things) several of their posts have been combined into one.
As she sawed away at the pole, Myrrh couldn’t help but blink at Margarita’s question. “Of course we could, don’t be silly.” As the other girl began to kick at the pole, she added, “And think, if you were in heels you could concentrate all that force into one spot. We should have brought some…..” Wisely, she chose to cover her ears as the pole fell; if her companion had yelled timber, she might not have even noticed. Luckily, moments after the pole fell, there were a few cracks of lighting. It should blend right in…
“Phase 2? First, put on this mask,” she handed the girl a facemask, the type that a doctor might wear, that had Aggronzilla on it. She then removed a second one, this one adorned with Hello Meowth, and placed it over her nose and mouth. She honestly had no idea where she had gotten these. She had a large pile of them though, small parts of larger piles of loot, received during numerous raids. She couldn’t remember where she had stolen every little thing she had. After it was secure on her face, she reached a hand into her sleeping powder pouch and pulled out 6 small balls. Handing them to Margarita, she stated, “When we approach, fling these at the guards when you see them. Got is Daisy?” The more she thought about it, the more she was glad that she put the mask on before handing them off to her friend; you couldn’t be too careful. “Oh yeah, one more thing. Nightvision goggles on.” She then pantomimed putting a pair of goggles on and made an electronic whooshing sound. They had no actual goggles, but luckily both of them could see well in the dark. Turning to where Margarita had placed the file, she picked it up, rolled it, and attached it to her belt with a strap. “Ok, lets go!” ************** As the pole lie on the ground, motionless, Margarita couldn't help but think she'd have toppled over as that thing came tumbling down. She'd probably have fallen a lot faster, too, and that didn't seem very tactical... but maybe Myrrh was right? It was probably worth a test, even if she hadn't exactly tried a pair of heels on before! However, that was entirely beside the point, and with the help of the crack of lightning across the sky, her attention was diverted back to the sensitive operation at hand.
With the instructions being placed on the table, Margarita grabbed hold of the offered face mask with a curious nod. She kept it held aloft until Myrrh pulled a second one out to shield her own nose and mouth with. Margarita mimicked the movements but had slight difficulty looping the thing over her second ear, having to fold it over in her haste so that she could scoop the sleep powder balls out of the air when they were also handed over. She peered down at them in what looked to be awe; oh she was liking this mission more and more as it steamrolled along...
A puckish grin appeared under the mask as she gleefully pulled her invisible night vision goggles down and secured them about her eyes. "Locked and loaded, commander!" she stated, readying the round pellets in her hand for their airborne escape. There was no time to really dilly-dally, though, for the guards that were stationed at the front of the mansion were already arriving on scene to survey the damage. Wait, four guards for one door? Really? With a determined huff, she launched the sleeping powder using Fling, one by one, at each guard in turn, starting with the first on scene. She had to pop out of the bushes to get the last two, but in the storm-blackened night, they wouldn't have seen the grimer appear. Her steps forward were cautious after the assault, making sure nobody else would come out of the woodworks at the commotion caused, but the interlude was brief. It was a good thing that Fling was so accurate -- she still had two of these things left! Fidgeting with the face mask, she turned to locate where Myrrh was, "Doctor, this patient needs a root canal, stat! Prepare the laughing gas!"
Myrrh watched in amusement as her companion took out the four guards in moments. She had readied two balls herself, but she found herself not needing them. “Nice work, Daisy.” Deftly, she made her way to the four unconscious bodies. Pulling out some duct tape, she quickly wrapped their hands, feet, and mouths. Tossing her role at Margarita, she stated, pointing as she talked, “I am heading round that way. Keep an eye on the front door and in the other direction.” After waiting for a confirmation from Margarita, she took off.
*****
The grimer-girl watched her spiritomb colleague as she made sure the unconscious guards couldn't come after the two of them upon awakening, curiously. As Myrrh fell into her role with ease, Margarita gave a quick nod, saluting to the orders, "Aye-aye, sir!" She watched as Myrrh disappeared around the corner before lowering her arm, peering at the duct taped guards. Idly, she nudged one of them with a toe to test the limits of the powder, but the man hardly moved, so deep in slumber as he was. "Woah, these are potent!" she mused quietly, holding one of the remaining pellets up to examine.
"What's going on out here?" another guard called into the dark of the night from the entrance of the mansion, squinting as he tried to see without the assist of the moon. With a silent gasp, Margarita chucked the sleeping powder ball that she had been looking at directly at the guy's face before she even had a chance to determine who it was that was there. Gah, they shouldn't scare her like that!
After leaving Margarita behind, Myrrh quietly crept around the house. Based on her previous experience, she didn’t expect to find many people back here, but she still had to check. She couldn’t let some guard sneak up behind them after they had made their way inside; that would just be silly and completely unprofessional. If Myrrh was anything, she was a pro.
As she drew near to the generator, she heard movement. Being extra careful, she crept around to where it lay and discovered a guard; actually it was the guard that had previously been on control. He appeared to be trying to fix the generator and was cursing to herself. The cursing was actually quite colorful; there were even a few thrown in that she had never heard before. She made a mental note of them and stored them in her vault. Maybe if she was lucky, she would find an inappropriate time to use them.
With a grin, she launched a confuse ray at the guards back. “Wha?” he muttered as he turned around, directly into Myrrh’s sucker punch. Knocked off his feet, he fell to the ground, unconscious. It wouldn’t last as long as the sleep powder, but with a hasty application of duct tape, it wouldn’t matter. Grabbing his duct taped body by the feet, she slowly dragged him around the house, encountering not a single goon on the way.
“Looks like you caught another one too,” Myrrh stated with a smirk as she made it back to her friend. “I’m going to head inside, you duct tape them some more and um…” She paused as she reached into another pouch and pulled out a bag and a sharpie. “Put all their pokeballs and anything else that looks interesting in here, and use this to draw funny pictures on their faces. I’ll let you know when it’s all clear.”
**** Margarita could hear Myrrh arrive -- or rather, she could hear the body of the person she was dragging arrive. Blinking in surprise, she moved out of the way and to the feet of the guard's unconscious form to help the spiritomb move him the short distance that remained. "Yes!" she chirped as Myrrh noticed that the bodies strewn about the front lawn of the mansion were gaining in number, "He didn't even see it coming!" Not that she saw him coming either, but that was beside the point.
Snatching up the offered supplies, the grimer almost didn't need to be told what the items were for before she was already glancing at them in her hands, punctuated by an eager, "Ooooh... Okay!" In fact, she didn't even stop to make sure Myrrh was on her way, and still safe, before she popped the top off the Sharpie and got to work. A sword through the forehead here... a unibrow there... the possibilities were endless!
She was just finishing up the last bit of some doodled drool when she remembered she actually had two tasks. Biting and holding the Sharpie between her teeth, she opened the plastic bag and dug through the guards' pockets with renewed interest. The aforementioned pokéballs, a key ring full of mystery keys, a keycard to access something-or-other, some novelty plastic dice, a chocolate bar... what was it she was supposed to be looking for? With distaste, she tossed the wallet she had grabbed, thinking herself a little higher class than that sort of mentality. Closing the bag, she picked up one of their walkie talkies, in case it was able to give her some sort of heads-up for oncoming danger, and went back to work doodling buck teeth as she waited for Myrrh to return.
******
Myrrh crept into the house, careful to not make any noise. Listening, she couldn’t hear anyone walking about, though she thought she heard muffled talking in the distance. Still, first things first; she started with the closest rooms and made her way onward. By the time she made it to the kitchen, she had wandered through a living room, a den, three bathrooms, a room that looked like a barracks; likely for the guards; two hallways, and a room filled with assorted fake plant life. It was in the kitchen, though, that she saw her first guard.
He had a flashlight and was greedily grabbing food from the fridge. The conversation she had barely heard earlier was apparently him talking to himself about how if he didn’t eat it, it would just go to waste, with the power outage and all. Shaking her head, she used the same ploy as before, a quick one-two, confuse ray then sucker punch. It was all too easy. As she wrapped his hands, feet, and mouth in duct tape, she heard it. They guards all wore walkie talkies and someone was now talking. She voice called out for Stevenson to report in; Myrrh had no idea what to say and anyone that did, could not answer. After cursing, he made it clear that he was coming down. The stairs! They were nearby and, determined to ambush him, she ran off towards them.
She made it there before him and, as he made his descent, she gulped. He was a large, imposing man, muscle bound and a good head taller than all the other guards. The main concern, though, was he wore a mask that appeared to have night vision capabilities and, the worst part, it covered his mouth and nose and appeared to have some sort of filter. He had likely worn it to be able to see, but it would also hinder her ability to use the sleep powder on him. Shaking her head, she thought I don’t have time for a boss battle.. Luckily, though, she had an idea.
As he reached the bottom of the stairs, he noticed her, only a short distance away. “Well what to we have he-“ he began before being cut short by her Sucker Punch aimed directly at his crotch. As he bent forward in pain, she pulled down on his mask with one hand and stuffed two sleep powder orbs inside with the other. She then released the mask, allowing it to smack shut and elbowed it, rupturing both orbs. He was out in a moment. For him, she used an entire roll of duct tape. She then went back to the guard from the kitchen and dragged him to the mini boss. She wasn’t about to drag the other guy anywhere.
Content that she was likely alone, she made her way to the remainder of the rooms on the first floor, and then searched the second. It appeared that no conscious guards remained. There was one locked room, but she stuck her head through the door and saw no one inside. This is going even better than I thought it would. With a hop to her step, she made her way back outside. “All clear!” she proclaimed.
**********
Margarita was all but oblivious to the epic miniboss battle that took place within the mansion aside from the noise the walkie-talkie briefly made before the encounter, all too preoccupied with the little black-and-white pictures she was scrawling across unsuspecting nappers' faces. As Myrrh emerged from the front door with a start, the grimer abruptly stopped her attempt at a greyscale rainbow, stoppering the permanent marker and grabbing the items she had confiscated to bring over to her accomplice. "I'm not sure if these are going to be very helpful, but they looked amusing!" she explained, holding the plastic bag out for Myrrh to scrutinize, "They didn't have a whole lot on them. I was kind of hoping someone had a sandwich... but there's a candy bar!" It was like trick-or-treating this way!
Popping her head inside the door, the grimer-girl took a quick glance around the massive entrance. Looking this way and that, it was some time before she came to a conclusion about it, "Jeez, you could fit an entire department store in this room..." Yes, overexaggeration at its best, but it was quite large regardless! Bounding into the room, Margarita had to remind herself she was on a mission so as not to test how well an echo could occur within the walls. Spotting the unconscious head honcho of the place, crumpled at the bottom of the stairs, she pointed over at him in indication, "Looks like you already got the party started without me!" Were they supposed to head up that way now? Ugh, stairs... they were so much more fun going down
***************
Scanning the bag, Myrrh remarked, “Well there is a fridge inside…..ooo keys!” Snatching those, she led her companion inside. “Yeah this place is pretty big,” she replied. With a place this big, there ought to be plenty of things to trash. “Well, he went down pretty quickly, not much of a party yet.” Bag still in hand, she began rummaging through the pockets of both goons. “Feel free to raid the fridge while I snag their goods,” she stated, as she motioned towards the kitchen. “Though, when you finish, unleash a bit of stench into the fridge.” In their pockets she found a couple wallets, 5 pokeballs, some loose change, a lighter, a pack of cigarettes. Looking at the pokeballs, she couldn’t help but shake her head. Mumbling to herself, she asked, “Why do they always carry just two or three?” She didn’t battle with pokemon herself, as she was one, but still, it didn’t make sense. She slid the lighter into her pocket and the rest of the goods into the plastic bag.
**********************
Margarita hesitated a little on the information provided, tempted to head to the kitchen for food. "But we're on a mission, that would only be a distraction!" she concluded, making mental note to get something as celebration afterwards instead. The booby trap idea, though, she liked that... With a grin, she bounced in place once, "Oh, I can still do that, though! I'll be right back!" Quickly, she scurried off for the only area with a tiled floor within view, wrenching the door open carelessly and parking herself to view the contents; it wasn't really well-stocked, but then again, it was a bit of a break room fridge anyway. Hold on, Myrrh told her to use stench... but she couldn't really shoot that in a direction, it merely emanated off of her when she wasn't holding the innate ability back. Flashing a milk jug a quizzical look, she shrugged and instead shot a dose of Poison Gas instead, shutting the door quickly behind. She giggled as she imagined the gas explode at the next unsuspecting customer, bounding back to where Myrrh was stationed as the spiritomb finished looking through her pilfered loot.
Taking another glance up the stairs, Margarita leaned a little precariously in her observation. Turning attention back to the unconscious staff members of the mansion, she carefully tiptoed over them and onto the next stair up. "Quick, before they wake up!" she whispered the eager chirp, taking two or three steps at a time in her ascent.
****************
“Well, we should hurry,” Myrrh replied as she headed up the steps, “but they shouldn’t be a problem. Even if they wake up, they have plenty of duct tape wrapped around them and, well, the big guy. He is likely still breathing in the sleep powder. He won’t wake up till someone takes off that mask.” Content that her plan was working, quite well, she stepped onto the second floor. “Time for phase 3.”
************************************************************************************* She hadn't been planning on wandering into the clearing, so Calcifer's grip on her wrist did nothing to prevent her from moving forward. It did manage to reassure her that her friend was still there though. Before stuffing the stone into the hollow, she noticed one of the members of team rocket grab a clear glass bottle and toss it aside, behind him. Her interest sparked she decided to grab it. She couldn't resist going after an unknown object like that."One second, I will be right there," Terra responded. Before heading over to help her new friend, Terra wandered towards the small, glass bottle. Picking it up, she noticed that it contained a clear liquid. She wondered if it was just a bottle of water, or if some greater mystery lay inside. Opening up the lid, she took a long whiff. It definitely didn't smell like water. She couldn't place the smell, but it burned her nose. Jumping back slightly, she noticed something else. It moved like it was way thicker than water, like a goop. Weird.
Right now, though, she had other, more pressing matters to attend to. Quickly, she strapped it to her belt and then she hurried over to the tree. Once she reached it, she stuck her hands in and helped Calcifer remove the stone statue from the trunk; it was a lot heavier then it looked. She didn't even have a chance to look it over, though, before the rumbling began, and not in her stomach. The ground was shaking below them.
"Woah," she exclaimed as her feet were tossed out from underneath her, by the shaking ground. "Wha...what's going on here?" Suddenly, it sounded like there was thunder all around her, but that it was coming from the ground. She had seen the move Earthquake before, but this was worse, much worse. It seemed to crack beneath her and the next thing Terra knew, she was falling. Eyes wide in shock, she didn't let out a peep, at least until she landed. With an "umph," she hit a small pile of sand that was luckily there. To be honest, it seemed rather out of place, not that she was complaining. It had, quite comfortably, broken her fall. Unlike her friend, who had landed with a splash, she was not soaking wet. Standing up, she walked to the edge of the underground river that was right next to the oddly placed pile of sand. "Calcifer?"
************************************************************************************* Despite her current state of shock, Holly did notice that Cardice, the oldest of her new companions, was staring off into the distance. Lightly biting her lower lip, she stared off into the distance. She almost thought she saw some movement, but found herself distracted by the crowd that was now all around her. Shrugging it off as nothing, she knelt down and offered her arm to Cardice.
Nervously, Holly looked back at Venka. Nodding in agreement, she let out a sigh. She may be among friends, but so much was happening, so quickly. She wasn’t frightened, but all of this did manage to put her a bit on edge. Without thinking, she stuck a hand in her pocket. When she felt that the gift she had intended to give to Beta was still there, she couldn’t help but feel relieved. With all that had happened, at least she hadn’t lost that.
After a moment’s pause, she looked towards Escher, concern on her face. It was obvious something was wrong with him, something that seemed to be related to his method of traveling, but she wasn’t sure what, if anything she could do.
“I..I’m alright,” Holly stammered as the newcomer crouched beside her. Loud enough, so that all the newcomers could hear, she added, “Oh, and I am Holly.” It was only polite for her to introduce herself.
