Scanning the room for Taym and outright grinning at his expression, America went to take the seat beside him. Noticing Robert on her way over, whatever cheer she got out of watching a grown man pout faded all to quickly. Making a detour, she went to the side of the room and pointedly grabbed up a small fire extinguisher to place very clearly beside her seat. Taym needn't have bothered bringing her supplies, as the girl didn't just bring a notebook, she brought a binder. Full of papers, neatly divided and labeled, the spine of it read: H.O.T Notes"Thanks for the head's up," she greeted him, pulling out a ziploc baggie full of m&ms and a metal water bottle. "Should've guessed this'd be some sort of don't drink the kool-aid thing."

"My granny," he informed her flatly, quietly, in an undertone like they were in a doctor's waiting room, "used to be able to pull absolutely anything you needed out of a pocket or a handbag. She had a fork in there once. Metal fork." He eyed the binder. "Doesn't that take all the fun out of it?"

"Mm. Not stressing." At least not as much as before.
Since yesterday, she said. Stormy realized she'd been staring too long and blinked. Right. Friend needed her. Perfect reasoning. She'd totally do the same. Don't be so needy. Maybe her phone was dead. Didn't matter, because Nevada wasn't and that was what mattered.
"Uh. Yeah, I got called," Stormy answered, feeling embarrassed for it. With feelings belatedly trickling in, she tugged Gale along with her until they reached Nevada, at which point both of them got pulled into a tight group hug that communicated than anything she was trying to say.
"You're back." A weight was off her chest, and she could smile properly, brightly. "Boyfriend and bestie: now that's the way it should be~"

Pulling out a camping knife from her bra, America waggled it at him before replacing it with a pen. Properly quipped, she leaned over and replied solemnly, "She sounds like a solid woman, but I prefer to travel light. No handbags."The binder was flipped open, and she scanned the room, marking a few faces out and finding their names in it. "Fun out of what? Listening to people's feelings?" The look she gave him was flatly unimpressed. "I plan on making use of this. Maybe some poor girl down the road will be grateful to find out that her beau has a sad likelihood of calling out his momma's name during particulars. Or..." the look was directed at Robert again, "...setting s**t on fire." Huffing a bit America primly crossed her legs and straightened her back, "I'm doing people a real favour here. Including you. You're welcome."

For a moment longer, there was someone blocking the doorway. Make that two someones.
"Allan," said someone Not Allan very, very slowly, "I was under the impression that you said mission and not a <******** free food!" The Sun lead took the time to unload all the Pocky from his pockets and add it to the Moon charity food collection. He gave the two people on the table a thumbs up. "This is a mission! A mission for you to understand your kokoro. A mission-"
- The Death lead walked right out-
- "where if you complete it, you will have finally mastered your kokoro and I won't need to visit you every day make sure you are training your feelings!"
- And turned right back and sat next to Gale as if this was totally normal. Arms crossed, he looked less like he owned the room and more like a person who was willing to take a sacrifice for something greater. Sometimes, sacrifices had to be made. Besides, if everyone else was annoying, being dead was also technically, not being too sensitive. Allan took a seat on the other side and looked like he was positively sparkling.

The hug eased any tension out of Nevada, mostly because she still held a hidden guilt of the aria incident in her head. As well as knowing that even alternate memories...Stormy had strong feelings for Aria. It's like both the worlds melded feelings together and left Nevada confused...guilted and different.
She was making choices after all...her hand idly tugged at her hair and she smiled to the pair after she let them go. "Hello Gale, are you her plus one?" She teased and then looked around. "It seems like a lot of the mouths are in here." She nodded to Otto, Peyton...Rep and Taym.
"But I don't understand why you'd be in here..." She frowned. "Sorry, I should've texted you when I got back but..." She waved her hand to Otto and sighed..."It's been a long day and night." She reached over, gently placing her hand on Stormy's and squeezing. "When we get back to the room, I have a big favor to ask of you. I hope you can help me with it." She squeezed again and dropped her hand. "Until then, let's try to survive a hour of feelings."

Gale was too busy staring in horror at Caelius sitting next to him to actually pay proper attention to Stormy and Nevada's reunion (which Jinhai reassured him later was very sweet and touching, as it should have been).

Why was she here? Oh, you know, maybe the whole killing someone in the trial thing. Probably. "Better than three-hundred hours of community service," she said with a tiny shrug, enjoying her group hug a little more. "But yeah, I'll totally help!"
It was then that Stormy noticed her boyfriend was not being into this touching moment as she wanted, and when she followed his gaze the reason became obvious. No, sir. Her touching moment was not going to be sidelined by one sour leader, even if it was the one that frightened her the most next to Aria.
Call it craziness. Call it pre-sensitivity training. Or maybe she was just feeling a little protective because it was a rare moment to see her boyfriend look so horrified, or maybe there was a fragment of that more confident Lina from New Years.
Whatever it was called, in the next moment Stormy let Gale and Nevada go to try and give Allan and His Highness a small welcome hug as well. "Hello, Mr. Allan, Mr. Caelius!"

Roland stood by, awkwardly, so painfully so. He was alone at the meeting and likely to be in trouble for it because every person he would have brought with him had already been summoned to this very room.
He was flipping through his phone for the umpteenth time trying to find someone, anyone he could call. Again he stopped at Jordan's name and quickly shut the phone casting a horrified glance briefly at Rep and Harrison. He couldn't look at any of them without feeling guilty and he didn't dare talk to Jordan, the last time he had seen him he had walked right by head in papers and he was almost sure Jordan was conveniently on his phone the moment they almost made eye contact. Or something. Whatever, they where NOT going to talk about New Years. Ever.
<< Well I enjoy that time line at least.... >>
Ro scowled at his phone, and the creature living in his head if that was possible.
< Shut up shut up shut up we need to find someone to do this exercise with or I'll be slaving for the moons for life. >

Attending sensitivity training was one of the most shameful, unfavorable things that Mimsy could think of. Three hundred hours of community service, even if it was manual labor, remained more appealing than whatever this could entail; but she knew it was useless to be defiantly stubborn this time, when 'make me' would have resulted in Robert carrying her there anyway. It would be easier in the grand scheme of this to just hold her arms up and wait expectantly like a child, instead of throwing a tantrum like one. Once she was on the ground again, she allowed her hair to be straightened and smoothed and realigned, eyebrows slightly raised, and said nothing until he complimented her. 'Perfect' seemed like a bit of a hyperbole, but she had no reliable method to gauge it herself, and had no doubt that he believed it. She'd allow it too. "Okay. Thank you." The food had already stolen his attention, and she considered leaving while he was focused on making a sandwich. Or sandwiches, potentially, if the slices of bread were any indication. He would probably come looking for her, though - he thought about her so frequently that it wouldn't be long before he noticed that she was missing. As suspected, he looked up at her before she had another moment to consider it. "No. I am not hungry, but I appreciate the offer." She was rarely hungry, with a thousand other thoughts occupying her mind, but the thought of what this meeting might require made her kind of nauseous. "You can have my share." Frowning, she lingered close to his side, hugging a thick red book that she had not carried into the room with her as she tried to make herself look as unapproachable as possible. Anyone she wanted to talk to would recognize it as one of her normal expressions anyway.

Beejoux Text to Peyton: Okay, I'll be there! Noah had assumed that this was some kind of experimental sensory test. Why it was being conducted in the Moon lounge, he didn't know, but maybe it was to help people relax. After all, almost nobody was relaxed in the labs, even Lifers. When he arrived (precisely at 1500, notebook and pen in hand), he was entirely puzzled to find a group of people seated, having snacks, and talking amongst themselves. What exactly was going on here? There was even a division lead in the room. He took one longing look at the snack table, decided it probably wasn't safe, and slipped through the crowd to take the chair on the other side of Peyton. "I'm here, what's going on?"

"No, I mean in general," he argued. "Where's the element of surprise? I mean yeah, foreknowledge of the likelihood of your ******** becoming an arsonist is probably valuable, but the obsessive cataloging..." he waved a vague hand. "It just seems to me like you'd want to save something for proof of--" He tensed. He looked exactly like a tomcat napping in someone's front yard and abruptly becoming aware of a passing dog--a sleek Doberman, for preference--that had not yet noticed him. He tried to watch Caelius without watching him and when he came back in and sat next to Gale Taym felt a pang of genuine sympathy accompanied by an equal-sized pang of hesitant relief that it hadn't been him. "--thank you for coming," he finished to her, sincere even if he'd forgotten it at first.

Peyton's partner arrived, giving Otto a chance for escape. The silence had been awkward. He had nothing he wanted to share, not nearly comfortable enough with his cousin to pass the time with idle chatter. Additionally, he was not in the best of moods, even for him. Otto finished his sandwich, giving a weak wave to Peyton as he made his way back to Nevada. He felt badly. Lately almost everything did. He took a seat nearby Nevada, not uttering a single word.

Ceres met Ottos glare with her own glare, holding that look for a second or two. After some time passed, she quirked an eyebrow and smiled with silent laughter before turning away. Otto, always grumpy, always damn fun to tease. When Caelius entered the room though, she soon found herself scooting her chair a inch closer to Dakota. Nopenope she too was glad he hadn't chosen to sit next to her.
