Several notorious citizens of Deus Ex would receive a rather rude awakening call on their cell phone in the form of a text:Text from Counseling Department In regards to public suggestions and questions, you have been scheduled for mandatory sensitivity training today at 3:00pm in the Moon common rooms. Bring paper and a pencil and a partner to help you out for this exercise. If you do not attend, you will receive instead 300 hours of community service to the Moon division instead of one hour of sensitivity training. You will also be deducted $100 for course evaluation fees if you miss the class. - The Counseling and Mental Health Services Department Just to make sure this whole announcement was dummy proof, an announcement was stapled onto several recipients' doors as well.
At exactly 3:00pm, in the Moon common rooms, there was a nice big table full of snacks and helpful desserts. Two figures, one short, one taller, stood at the far end, organizing a stack of cards. OOC Bring a buddy! If your char can't make it just assume they got the community service. I will make the first tag within 24 hours (which is cutoff line!)

Dakota stared at the text. Not even a day back from the outpost and small moments with Candace and he was being summoned to - his eyes narrowed- some sort of training for...sensitivity!?!?
Like..feelings?
And to bring a friend and he was paying a 100$, oh my god did this place hate him or something.
He went to Ceres door, rubbing his neck sheepishly and telling her that he was being summoned and needed her help.
And that was about it as he walked in with his big sister.
"Sorry, Hopefully this won't last too long for you.." He looked at the smaller mist woman and then away, "Don't wanna keep you from missions or Bix long right?" Nervous laugh.

Marcus looked at the text, rolled his eyes, rolled over in bed, and asked Cass if she wanted to hold him back from what likely was going to be him pissing people off with his inability to not mince his words or buffer what he considered the truth. More plainly, 'Cass come with me because I'm better if I go alone I'm going to end up wanting to stab someone and I'd rather not.' When he arrived seeing Dakota there with Ceres was a bit of surprise and slowly the moon just gravitated towards them. "....You got called here too then." He gave Dakota a look of 'I didn't do anything and clearly this is stupid we shouldn't even be here.'

She stared at the text for a long while and tried not to panic. After all, sensitivity training could have been a ruse or euphemism for official interrogation. Not that she had done anything for Aria specifically (yet), but it was in the works, somewhat. Or was this about the trials again? Either way, Stormy was nervous, and her palms began to sweat as she got ready to leave her dorm.
They were still sweaty when, minutes later, one of them entwined with Gale's while the other held a blank journal and pen. She was grateful for his participation, enough so that she had literally jogged to his house to get him so that she could cool down on the way over; it might or might not have been influenced by the fact that she was getting more clingy with Nevada gone. Part of her couldn't help but wonder if Jack was going to show up as well, which shouldn't have mattered as much as it did in her head . . . But it was either this quick exercise or way too many hours of community service. Maybe it would be fun? (For once)
"Thanks," was what Stormy managed as they made their way over, after the hellos and how are yous and alright how are yous. The rest of the time was spent in (what she hoped was) companionable silence, drawing more from presence than from words. While aware that Gale had been off again on a task for Caelius, she had to curb her questions for the time being (which was harder than she could admit); and that wasn't counting the mention of New Years.
At least she was trying to make things as seamless and not awkward as possible.
"Maybe you'll learn something, too!" she joked, letting their hands swing a little.

Cass ha wanted to sleep in a while longer and instead was being woken up to go on an adventure. Sensitivity training? While she hadn't been summoned herself (hi Marcus), she couldn't help but feel like going would be an awesome learning experience.
Y'now.
As a Counselor.
She was still rubbing her eyes when she came in on Marcus' arm, a cup of coffee (Black, exactly 2.5 sugars in it. Someone loved her) in hand which she sipped idly out of. "I'm going to guess it's because Dakota's aura offends some people and I know why you're here..." she passed a look up at Marcus and lifted her brows. "Just saying."
Cass nodded to Ceres who was joining in the early morning adventures.

Dakota had said he needed her help, so of course she came to his aid. What was family for? But as they continued to walk, she had grown a little more suspicious. And now they were inside the Moon common rooms, with a huge table filled with food and a few other people already present. "Dont worry about the time Dakota, i'll be there whenever you need me." This was the first time he actually asked for help from her, so she wasn't exactly about to abandon him. Bix and missions could wait, besides she flung Bix a text telling him where she was at any rate. "Whats going on exactly?" She said, crossing her arms and frowning. She looked both between Dakota and Marcus, trying her best (and failing) not to give a bit of a glare. "Called here for what?" Clearly she missed the memo, but it seemed Dakota wasn't the only one who needed help. She too gave Cass a nod back in greeting, eying the coffee for a moment.

"Sensitivity training Ceres..." Dakota mumbled, rubbing his neck again and looking sheepish. Though it didn't brighten a little at Little Sister Cass and Brother Marcus came to join him! Look it was his moon/mist family. If only Candace was here....
"I honestly am not sure why I am here, unless Caelius complained about me that eon ago when he insulted Candace and I went to beat him up. Aria and I made up over that....or it could be the whole...."
His hand's made wide gestures though his voice was quiet..."Rep and Shiloh thing that happened." if that was the case, He'd remember next time should it arise. He almost thought that maybe Edith had forgiven him for that one moment where he stopped defending someone.
One moment that had almost cost Shiloh his life permanently.
"This is kind of embarrassing..." he rubbed his neck, looking idly anywhere but his BIG sister's slight glare at him.

"Was i that obvious?" She laughed, nodding in thanks taking the cup, as well as a sip from it, before handing it back. "Thanks, sometimes a little caffeine goes a long way." And from the sounds of it, she was going to need her full attention span. Turning back to dakota, she stopped glaring and instead looked...puzzled. "Sensitivity training? Like are we talking feelings or bodily reactions to touch and such?" That was a really odd way to put it. Knowing their leaders they intended on using both means of the word. "Hmm... sounds like this might be punishment for whatever then, maybe Caelius decided to get people together who stepped on his foot or something." She paused. "What happened with Rep and Shiloh?" She knew that they were both injured, and possibly even a rumor of death was around. She saw Shiloh wandering around recently, so clearly that was just that, a rumor.

Yeah, they weren't paying 100 dollars.
And they sure as hell weren't piling on another million hours of free community service, which someone wasn't getting paid for, when he also owed ten thousand ******** dollars.
Rep didn't get dragged by the ear, but the sheer force of Harrison's glower was something to be reckoned with.

Rep was only there because Harrison made him be there. He could stand up to gigantic monsters, people who outranked him, ridiculous situations, but he couldn't stand up to that ******** glare.
He stormed in ahead of the moon hunter, gathered up and pawed at as much food as he could from the snack table, even using his shirt held out as a rudimentary pouch of sorts to maximise his looting, and then wandered over to sit down.
he said loud enough that anyone nearby - or not - could hear him, indoor voices happened to other people. "I guess this ******** island does need to learn - as a whole - how to be nicer to me."

Dakota stared at Ceres and then gently took her arm.
Then led her to a more secluded corner...and explained the whole Rep and Shiloh thing to her, as well as his involvement. More wide gestures, a sort of panic-y face and then a sigh.
Moments later, they'd return to Marcus and Cass's side and Dakota would look like a very kicked puppy. Ceres well...She looked like any big sister would at the news....
"I got scolded..." He said sadly...

" Yeah that people can't deal with the cold hard facts or like to hear that not everyone will mourn a stranger-" Realizing his mutterings so close to Cass would likely result in an elbow to the gut Marcus backed away from hitting range. "Yeah, my wonderful personality. Dakota- probably because he has the ever lovely moon quality of stubbornness... or someone is offended that he went and took himself off the market. I mean really Dakota, how could you?" Marcus's tone was rather painfully clear in the fact the hunter wasn't taking this as seriously as he probably should have. Grabbing a plate while the other pair went to 'converse', a plate that he mildly hoped was an Edith creation (he needed to test his body's own ability to defend against such things), the hunter sat next to the scolded Dakota, offering Cass to sit next to him. "Could be worse Ceres, we could be stuck having to deal with-" And then he arrived. The one person who Marcus had grown to genuinely hate. Marcus bristled. "Killing him would be the nicest thing anyone's done on the island..." More mutterings.

Cass smiled as she got the cup back. "Not a problem. It's early and as long as you like your coffee strong and not flavored...." she shrugged and took another sip, looking at Marcus as he edged away from her and raising her brows a bit. She didn't trust any food until she was certain it wasn't an 'Edith Special' (as opposed to Marcus who was hoping it was such), but did take up the seat next to him as the two moons made their reappearance.
At Marcus' words Cass turned and gave him a sharp look. Then she elbowed him in the side.
"I'm pretty sure if you'd had sensitivity training sooner you wouldn't have left me over fruit analogies." she added darkly.

His scowl was sent her way. "It wasn't just over fruit analogies Cass." His scowl had somewhere along the lines turned into a look of indignation. He rubbed the spot where she elbowed him though. Cass was pretty good with targeting Marcus's weak points.
