Zane stopped for a moment, and stared wide-eyes at the Archeon for a solid moment. "Did I hear that right? Betelgeuse is a star... And things like you can eat stars? Do your mouths stretch that big?" His lowered his voice at the next question. "You don't happen to eat humans too, do you?"

He turned a corner and it was then that the auditorium doors came into view. "As for an auditorium.... Well there is fighting sometimes but it's all fake. Actors are very important so they can't risk killing them all the time. Don't ask me right now what all that means. You'll get it when you see it. Just don't kill anything unless I give you the OK to, okay?" Zane hoped it all absorbed well in the metal man's thinking processes. He wished his brother was with them because in comparison, Zane had a long way to explain things as well as that school ambassador.

He spotted a smartly dressed man with an intimidating gaze approaching from down the hall and decided that it was the time to bolt it. After making a quick wave at Raze'k to follow, Zane slipped inside the room quietly and took a seat next to three other humans -- or at least what appeared to be humans. Two of them looked like they could have been siblings, and the third was a blond whose height could only be shadowed by Raze'k. All three of them were around his age. Were they students of the Academy as well? "Did anything start yet?" he asked, taking a seat next to them. It felt assuring to be with more people. Safety in numbers.

Clapping erupted within the auditorium. Spotlights snapped on one after another to illuminate the stage, where small man with a bowl hat stood before red velvet curtains drawn closed. He even came with a cane and a moustache. "Welcome! ...And I mean WELCOME." With the man's last few words, a fiery vortex engulfed the man and he emerged as a giant being of swirling ash and flame, and growing in size until his head grazed the high ceiling.

"I thank you all for coming, but you came too late. I only wished to gather you all here to congratulate me on my success in stealing from you something very very precious, something that your 'teachers', 'librarians', and 'janitors' have been trying ever so hard to keep my hands away from. But I am not generous myself... I have ridded your 'school' of your 'electricity' to give you a chance to show your measly strengths, assuming you even have them. Let's see how strong you really are when faced against my minions.

"In three rooms they linger, trapped in this physical world within your stronghold of books, your diluted barracks, and your chamber of musical fluency. Find them, FREE THEM, and you shall have your feeble power back. I look forward to seeing your strengths...and your weaknesses. MUAHAHAHAHA!" And with that, the fire rose and grew, twisting into a fireball that circled once around the auditorium and flew towards the curtain wall, where it vanished. Only a small charred hole in a small section of the curtain remained.

His eyes widened once his brain managed to process the outrageous thing Raze'k was about to do. "Wait, wait---!" he said before he could stop himself. And then he was reminded where he was and who sent him there and all care for environmental conservation went up in smoke. "Oh never mind to ahead." He whipped his head back quickly to glance at the other three beside him and wondered if they noticed the 6'10" hunk of metal that ripping off the seats off the floor like they were weeds in a garden.

Zane made himself comfortable when the show started, and wasn't impressed with its introduction. "What sort of weird show is this?" he said, almost whispered, in order to be polite. The man, short and stout, seemed amiable enough but not quite Zane's idea of entertainment. But when the man transformed, Zane was almost ready to give the man a standing ovation. "Whoa, this is great!" If there was anything he was willing to accept, it was 3D CGI, something that was available in participating theatres in his home world. He was at the edge of his seat, and could almost feel the heat radiating from the core of the being's fire. That was when it clicked that it wasn't just effects, it was magic. The realization had him pressing against the back of his seat, his eyes shut tight, with every cell of his body craving to get away. He vaguely registered Gavin jumping behind her seat and felt a pang of sympathy.

It took him a moment to recover from the shock and slowly peel himself off his seat. "It's like he was speaking in code," he said finally at Gavin's words, trying his best to keep his voice steady. Even as Zane spoke his hands were still shaking. "I mean, where would you gain musical fluency in a school building?" He had an answer in mind, namely, the music room, but he wanted to see first if the others agreed he was on the right track.

"His... Minions, maybe?" He shivered at the thought. What creatures could be hiding out in the school building? He thought about the two women that were in the cafeteria and wondered about enlisting their help. Maybe even that intimidating fellow in the hallway. A draft blew past him, making him shiver again. "It's either we get rid of them or we freeze to death once the school loses its heat. The music room sounds promising. Let's find some help on the way, and we've got Raze'k here to cover for us, right big guy?" he looked onward at the Archon with a hopeful face and trying to stay positive.

Raze'k was still curious as to why a man had burst into flames, though he was no longer around so he started glancing around the auditorium instead as the others talked. It wasn't until Zane mentioned his name that he focused back in on the conversation.
"Raze'k will aid you in your dilemma."
Gwen had addressed Raze'k before heading towards the exit.
"Oh. Pleasure..to meet..."
He glanced back at Zane with a look of confusion before making a motion to follow her.

Gwen was pushing the door opened, holding it open as he waited for the others. Gavin thought for a moment. "Should we... you know, split up? To cover more ground? Or stay together?" She asked. Power in numbers was always true, but if they split up they might get this over with quicker... "Thanks." Gwen said, as Raze'k got over to him.

The detective entered the strange building hoping to solve the mystery's of its halls. He Opens the Door to the main Building "HELLOOO" he shouts into the empty entryway. the Echo of his cry emanated from the halls. But then he heard laughter coming from an auditorium off the Archway. He Enters.....
