With Ying being the grumpypants that she normally was all the time, Jing patted her toward the back and took up the duty of the front line. "Yes, Its a brew that My sister and I love to savor." he remarked cooly, the amber liquid sloshed gently as he went to put it down. The tea leaves danced its fluid dance within the cup and the boil was at peace in that moment, tranquil and aware of nothing.
The moment passed far too soon as he snapped his vison back to the boil and his offered pieces and picked them up with the utmost of care, cradling them as he assessed the possibilities from the offered pieces. The boil rolled a thumb over the expanse of cloth in thought in slow circles before stopping and clearing his throat. "I think we can work with this." he said finally, grasping hold of the vague concept and running with it as he shuffled in the back for a better texture of cloth in the hidden storage and the clink of dishes that spoke of another idea the younger boil had.
It only took a few seconds, and the barest of sound, but the boil came back to his patron with a tiny bowl filled with a gulpful of the fragrant tea. "Something for you to enjoy while you wait, it is rather nippy out." he uttered kindly, placing the serving vessel in front of Mort and walked the materials to the back. "It will take a moment, have patience and you will be rewarded for it." was all he said.
And then he was gone behind the heavy curtain.

"Ooo . . ." Warm tea. OwO A different sort of warmth than what the spirits had given him, but soothing nonetheless. He took a sip and let out a small but satisfied sigh as he picked up the bowl and held it to his chest to keep that chill at bay for a bit more. "S'delicious, sir, thanks," Mort commented happily as the horseman ducked behind the curtain, finding that he was still content to talk to thin air in his current state.
"Tea's an art, yeah? Was a booth manned b-by this one horseman, ghoul with uh . . . blond hair n' horns n' long robes. Tried t'make own - was pretty bad. Yup . . ." He bobbed his head to himself with a small "mmmhmmmm".
It was tomorrow, and the fey was back, attempting to try his luck again. He picked up the fabric and attempted yet again to match the fabric to the right color of thread...

Tch! No suck luck. Perhaps it wasn't meant to be? He'd try again, just to be sure, to see if he could match...
Third time was a charm, he supposed. Lifting up the fabric, Marosa matched it again, only to find that it didn't match at all.
Usually he was good at these sorts of things, but finding out that it just wasn't working left him dejected.
He wasn't sure he was going to get a chance to get a custom scarf made for him, so he stared at the ones with a skull for a while, pondering if he should get one or not.

Oh...oh, how beautiful! The baku quietly moved forward to examine the scarves laid out, her tail swishing behind her. That pair of horsemen made these? Honestly, they were a very gifted bunch, weren't they? They always seemed to produce such lovely crafts...
To the two who were running the booth, the ghoul offered a polite smile and a small bow before moving closer to eye the scarves more carefully. A part of her itched to buy all of them, but when she noticed the notice about custom made scarves, she perked up slightly. Oh, so they took orders? Clasping her hands behind her, she leaned forward to examine the fabric and the threads laid out. Let's see...
...Hhm, no...which thread went well with which fabric? It was proving to be a little difficult for the baku to tell.

...My, this was proving to be more difficult than she thought. The baku stooped down even further until she was eye level with the fabric, her head cocked to the side and her tail sweeping the ground behind her. Let's see, the dark red thread and the pink fabric...? No, the shades were a little off. If only the thread was a little cerise in color, then maybe it would work.
No, hmm. That pair wouldn't do at all.

Nope! Perhaps Xiu was simply tired, but she found herself straining her eyes in an attempt to determine whether certain threads matched with certain fabrics. In the end, she shook her head and straightened up, deciding that it would be best to try again after a little while. Turning, she offered the Conquest horsemen a smile before gesturing towards their wares.
"You do lovely work," She offered quietly, "Does it take you a long time to make each one, or...?"
"Why cant I just give up on these lovely scarves?" is what Nessa kept thinking to herself. But no matter how hard she would try to forget about them she just kept coming back. already having her seeds in her hand she placed 5 of them on the booth and dug for a thread. Maybe trying for 3 days this was her lucky chance. but nope not this time either still off on color.

Looking back at her seeds and double cheeking that she had enough she placed 5 more down. Maybe she was going about this the wrong way. Maybe instead of the solid color of the thread she had to look more at the colors that made up that thread. Picking up a thread and holding it up to the light so she could see it better she thought it was close.
In fact it was very close but just 1 color off from what she needed.

5 more seeds slid out of her hand. She searched through the mound of threads taking one out at a time and holding it up to the light "nope.........naw.... maybe......hmm." each time sorting it into her own little pile. In the middle of the pile now she found one held it up and "this." But she knew that look she was still off but not very off but just enough. " well dang... I'll have to see if i have enough to come back."

The scarves seemed far more interesting to Ricar than the bright,fluffy sweaters from earlier. Ricar couldn't remember a time where being cold was an actual problem, but he had seen a few students wearing scarves pass by.
Why not try his hand at finding the right color for one?
That didn't seem to match either, so he tried switching out the thread instead. For sure, he thought he had gotten the right combination, but one of the stall owners told him it was not right. He grumbled a reply and wandered off. Who knew that being able to color coordinate was actually a skill?
Lumikki saw the scarves and instantly rushed forward to see how to get such a pretty item. Oh dear they were lovely, and some of the scarves were matching to the person wearing them.
"Oh these are just beautiful..."
She said as she heard the comment about having your own for just 5 seeds. Well how could she resist that. Setting down 5 seeds she tried to match hoping that this would be easier then some of the other games she had tried.
