"Meir! W- Wait!"
Lamonte protested, then immediately shrunk back as various ghouls and creatures turned a heavy stare at his outburst. Lamonte shifted his gaze uneasily, taking quick note of all escape routes. They'd been waiting for nearly 20 minutes now, and the... the
thing in line behind him was starting to get twitchy. Lamonte groaned as he looked back to Meir, the teru teru bozu familiar cackling it's way past the line of waiting guests and through the gates of Amityville.
Finally,
finally after what seemed an hour it was Lamontes turn. Trying, and failing, to muster a smile at the mumbling and grumbling gnome that seemed less than please to be there---a sentiment they could share---Lamonte signed his name in small, cramped cursive, accepting the guest pass that was quickly shoved his way.
Lamonte fiddled with it for a moment, nervous hand bending one corner and nearly tearing off another before placing it around his neck. The smile that'd begun to tentatively spread across his face was wiped away as he was jostled from behind, forcing him to move forward.
