✖Name: Gilliflower ✖Pronounced: gill-E-flower ✖Nickname(s): Gillies, Gil ✖Species: Normal ✖Obtained: Raffle [x] // Gift from Yushika
✖Special abilities: Gilliflower has extremely powerful magic based in strength, protection, and healing, but he cannot actively use it on his own behalf. He may only cast spells if given permission by his Master, but if the need arises in the course of his set duties he can use his magic without specific permission. Gilliflower must have a Master at all times, or else he will turn back to clay and garnets. If severely "damaged" his body automatically heals, even when he looks to be "broken" beyond repair. If his Master contributes their energy then he can heal faster; the stronger his Master is the faster he can heal, but otherwise there are no specific requirements that would effect his attributes, physically or magically. ✖Noteworthy mentions: Gilliflower was created by magic rather than born from a bowl. He was meant to be a golem, but due to his maker's inexperience he didn't come out like traditional golems.
✖ Gilliflower is not normal, perhaps even by nonconventional standards. He was not born of flesh and blood, but rather from clay and garnets. An amateur magician decided to try his hand at some alchemy to make a golem, but added his own touch by carving carnations and adding garnets to the clay figure in the hopes of imparting certain magical properties to the it. Things didn't go...quite as expected. Gilliflower was a lot bigger, more flesh-and-blood than the magician had pictured. But he still served the purpose he was made for, so the magician was content to leave it at that.
Gilliflower was born only knowing that he had a specific purpose and that he must fulfill it. During his beginning years he never showed emotion, never seemed to have opinions, never even spoke unless his Master demanded an answer, and then it was the simplest of words and the shortest of sentences with little real meaning behind it. He was always watching things, but never seemed to retain anything, never showed a speck of individuality. He seemed to be truly empty, just a living doll. Even when his Master stopped being cruelly indifferent to his presence and began physically abusing Gilliflower there was no reaction.
It's difficult to say when Gilliflower began to develop a personality since it didn't happen all at once, and subconscious repression made the process all the slower. He started showing subtle signs of stubbornness; he could not outright refuse an order, but he would sometimes interpret them in his own way. He still did not directly speak unless spoken to, but you could see more life to his eyes and sometimes feel he was holding back words. During the rare occasions he was left alone he would sometimes speak to the mice that lived in the walls, the spiders than sat in the abandoned corners, the birds that would hop boldly near to examine his gems and bright fur, or even, very rarely, to himself or inanimate objects.
True, measurable progress came the day he met Ada. His Master was distracted by a working and Gilliflower escaped to the gardens outside. He was sunning himself on a bench when the bright female wandered by, stealing some flowers. He had never truly met another person before since his Master didn't leave him home very often. She was appalled by fresh bruises that were scattered across his face and throat. Little by little she worked his story from him, sneaking in the garden and lurking to catch Gilliflower whenever he was able to get a few moments. He was quite baffled by her and her attitude regarding his treatment, but quickly grew attached to her bright personality. That was how they discovered the most critical bit of information regarding Gilliflower's power.
He could choose his own Master. Having neither incentive or available candidates before, this knowledge had gone undiscovered. It all came to a head on a beautiful day out, when Gilliflower was talking with Ada in the gardens when his Master stumbled upon them. Ada confronted him, and in his rage the magician tried to harm Ada. That was when Gilliflower reacted to protect her. In doing so he subconsciously choose Ada to be his new Master, and the sole purpose of his being was to protect the Master. The magician could not touch Ada, and could not kill Gilliflower while Ada lived. He was forced to admit defeat, and the two escaped from that place never to return again.
With his new Master, Gilliflower's personality has blossomed. He is still quiet and unassuming, but there is a sense of humor and intelligence when you look into his eyes. Ada expanded his knowledge of the world so he is not longer quite so naive, and he enjoys learning new things. His magical abilities have also greatly increased with his new learning. He can be difficult to get to know because for all that he is pleasant, he's a bit laconic about personal things. Though being with Ada has helped, some trauma from the mistreatment at the hands of his old master still lingers and he does not like being touched by anyone he does not trust. Full trust does not come easily to him, but he will give people chances to prove themselves. For those few who can hold his absolute trust he will do literally anything for them. There is also a hint of impish mischief in him from time to time and he likes to do things that are "helpful" that will dismay the other person. He would never do anything truly distressing though!
✖Special abilities: Toshiaki can sense spirits, can see them if they want to be seen and hear them if they decide to talk. He's able to tell the difference between and active spirit and a "haunting" that is caused by a residue of extreme energy. ✖Noteworthy mentions: Toshiaki is part marionette, so his internal structuring is a bit different. He does have vital organs, but they aren't all in their traditional places and he can shift them around slightly. He needs to eat, but not as often as most. There are several sections of his body that do not bleed if cut, and certain body parts of his can be removed and reattached.
✖ Toshiaki is a purposeful fellow who has his own way of doing things and will be stubborn about them. For example he insists on being called Aki. Not because he dislikes his full name, but because Soeri has trouble speaking long words and he wants to make it easier for her. He also refers to his mothers by their names, so he isn't confusing people and having them wonder which "Mom" he's referring to. Of course if he happens to be talking directly with his mothers he reverts to using maternal titles, since they know perfectly well who he is talking about. You could say that all his little stubborn insistences that might seem odd are, at the heart of it, making things easier for others, though if you point that out to him he'll just shrug, blush a little, and respond, "It's easier that way."
He's a calm kid with a lot of courage and determination. When he sets his mind to doing something he will complete the task no matter what obstacles appear in his path. This means you'll have to keep an eye on him, otherwise he'll periodically vanish, get into things he shouldn't or turn up in a place you'd rather he didn't go. He doesn't mean to cause trouble, and actually he rarely does. He's not shy but he does regard strangers like a new species to be examined, and he's not talkative but he is curious and not afraid to start up a conversation.
✖Name: Jesse Lee ✖Pronounced: jeh-sea lee ✖Nickname(s): Jes, Lee ✖Species: Halfbreed (Bear) ✖Obtained: CC Thread Breeding
✖Special abilities: None ✖Noteworthy mentions: Jesse's crow is the offspring of his father's crow, Troublemaker. She has been dubbed Smartypants, and is quite a character.
✖ Jesse is a kind and friendly fellow. He'll show interest in other people, even if complete strangers, and can be a good ear to pour your troubles into if all you need is someone to listen. He won't offer advice unless it's asked for, since he doesn't sugar coat what he thinks should be done and that isn't always what people want to hear. He isn't heartless, just totally honest.
Jesse's got a lot of energy and enthusiasm, and like his parents he loves living close to the land. He also enjoys tinkering, working out details and giving a project that finishing touch that really makes it special. He's focused when working, and rarely starts another project until he's done with his current one. His goal in life is to build things that allow for farming of stuff that could flourish on its own in the climate where he and his family live.
✖Name: Aja ✖Pronounced: ah-jah ✖Nickname(s): None ✖Species: Normal // AI ✖Obtained: Custom
✖Special abilities: TBA ✖Noteworthy mentions: Aja's original name while in the lab was Rafaella. That part of her programming has yet to be recovered. The name Aja was given to her by the Boogie twins, and is the one she will always use. When fully operational her coat was a gleaming white. After she was shut down it turned midnight blue. Even after being rebooted by her nanobots her coat has not returned it its normal white, though as she restores her original programming in bits and pieces more spots of glowing white have appeared among the blue. The heart on her side is a design applied by Hoodoo Boogie. While she can't heal with her nanobots, Aja has taken up hoodoo. She likes bottle magic in particular, but is slowly learning all the different methods that Hoodoo Boogie can teach her.
✖ Aja is an AI designed for healing through the use of nanotechnology. At the time such a thing was so new that she was considered, not even the first of her kind, but a prototype. And there were a lot of things that needed fixing. She was not originally meant to be an AI, but because of issues with software they thought it would work better if there was a level of intelligent control. Eventually they worked out the software, but felt that the hardware was inefficient so they deprogrammed Aja and consigned her to be used for display or scrap while they moved on to a different design. Before a decision could be made, a group of rebels who objected to the creation of intelligent machines broke into the lab, stealing and destroying many things. Aja was one of the things they stole. But the entire time, from the moment she had been shut down, some of the nanobots inside her were still active and had been repairing and restoring her. Aja woke up, and was able to escape. Through travel she has met twins who took her in and cared for her.
As an AI, Aja does not experience emotions. She understands them from a logical point of view and can mimic them, but she cannot actually feel them. She also glitches from time to time, since she is only partially restored and sometimes breaks down. She occasionally goes into a "sleep" mode, trying to recover as much of her original programming as possible, but there will always be things missing that she will have to manually relearn. She's a little distant and impersonal when first meeting people, but will slowly warm up to them and attempt to interact more often.

✖ Aja doesn't have a familiar. She really isn't interested in finding one.
✖Special abilities: None ✖Noteworthy mentions: Irina has a doppelganger named Klara. They have a complicated relationship.
It started with a sickly girl stuck in the hospital, withering away day by day. It was likely she would die before she grew old, and soon, yet the girl never gave up hope. Named Klara, she lived each day waiting for parents who had given up on her. Waiting for someone to tell her that finally she was better. Waiting to finally go home.
However, that day didn't come. She kept staring at the door, hands gripping each other each time someone walked by. And then, one day, feet stopped before her door and a beautiful woman entered by the name of Irina. A model with generosity, she had joined a program to keep the terminally ill company until their passing. Irina was as graceful as she was kind, and she immediately caught Klara in awe.
Irina had enough stories to feed Klara's need for adventure. Having traveled a lot for her job, Irina fed stories to Klara of a world Klara had not yet seen much of. Always by her side as the days passed, Irina became Klara's most beloved friend, and she'd dream of the stories Irina told her. She adored Irina, and a part of her wanted to be Irina. To be someone as beautiful, kind, and healthy as Irina had been Klara's dream, and slowly jealousy formed. Klara began to obsess, and her gentle asking for stories became fierce demands. Finally, it came to the point that Klara began to desire to be Irina so fiercely that it reached the ears of a passing demon.
The demon visited Klara late in night, after Irina had left, and gave Klara one wish if she'd give something in return. Desperately, Klara struggled to sit up in bed, wishing to become as close to Irina as possible. To be as healthy and as beautiful. With a chuckle, the demon pressed a kiss against her forehead before vanishing, and Klara fell to sleep.
When she woke she felt new, almost fresh. Her body wasn't hers, and yet when she looked in the mirror instead of a gasp of horror she let out a pleased exhale of air. The demon had delivered her wish. She was finally healthy and beautiful, just like Irina.
It was safe to say Irina was shocked when Klara wasn't in the hospital that day, and seemed to have vanished. That is.... until a few months later, when a model strikingly like her became noticed. To her horror, the woman was non-other than Klara, who was attempting to take over the life of Irina. Would she succeed? Or would Klara finally accept who she was? Only time would tell.
It's safe to say Klara and Irina have a complicated relationship. Klara idolizes Irina and wants to be her, still holding love for the other at the moment, though that could transform into anger later on. Irina wants her life back, and while she still cares for that sickly girl she isn't too much of a fan of the fact Klara is constantly taking more and more from her. Irina blames herself for the fact Klara is destroying her true being, and wants nothing more than to return Klara's true personality to her.
✖ Irina is one of those people others can't help but like. She's a model, gets to travel to all sorts of places, meets all sorts of interesting people. She's hip and trend-setting, and very popular. As if fame and beauty weren't enough, she's also just plain nice. She donates most of her money to those in need, and spends a lot of her free time helping others or getting behind a cause. She's not at all snobbish or vain, and greets everyone with a polite words and a warm smile.
Deep down she's afraid of losing herself. In her world a lot of things ride on perception, and everyone has a different idea of what she should be. That's one reason she gives so much of her time to others, because she doesn't want her legacy to be a bunch of superficial images. She's got a rebellious streak deep inside that won't let people label her with their own views, and she encourages individuality in others. She's very adventurous and has a wild side, though she does think before she acts.
✖Special abilities: Feel Good Inc has the ability to create ice. Her emotional state can affect her ability to wield her power. ✖Noteworthy mentions: When Feel Good Inc talks, "Shetalkslikethis." Also, she really likes fluffy stuff.
✖ Feel Good Inc is a bag of mixed nuts. One on hand she tries to take her heritage seriously, learn all the history and traditions, cause they're important! They culminated in her, and one day she'll have to pass them on to her own children. She's got a title, princess, from a long line of princes and princesses, and that means something. But there's the other hand to look at. Feel Good Inc is the opposite of a fatalist. She resists the idea that because you are born into something you can't pick your own path. The thought of being trapped makes her lash out in defiance, consequences be damned.
Feel Good Inc's personality is sometimes volatile. There's no telling what can set her off or exactly how she'll lash out. When she's having a "tantrum" she can get very destructive and violent; animalistic, one might even say. It's not her only reaction to annoyances, just the one you want to watch out for most if you care about your tender skin. When her reaction seems to be no reaction at all that's when you should worry, cause there's no telling what's going on inside her head.
As far as day-to-day encounters go, Feel Good Inc is pretty calm. She doesn't talk a lot, but her inner dialogues make up for it. They can be pretty random since she notices some of the oddest things. There's very little that she thinks is strange or weird, simply different. She's more mature than her mother, more like Grandma Belle, though not quite as....playful. She entertains such thoughts though, and maybe one day she'll try her hand at some games. Since November Has Come and Belle Bambi are the main female rolemodels in her life, she wonders if she'll find a pet of her own to love someday.
✖Special abilities: Saffron can change her scent at will. The smells are all floral or herbal in nature. When overcome with extreme emotion her smell can subconsciously change to reflect that. ✖Noteworthy mentions: None
✖ Saffron is a very happy, almost bubbly individual. Smiles and laughter all come easily to her and she tends to like most people on first sight. Of course there are a few whom she instinctively recognizes as dangerous, but unless she senses harmful intent she gives everyone a chance. She has a rather simple nature combined with a powerful memory. First impressions with largely affect how she remembers someone and thus how she acts around them. It will usually take a lot of time to change her first impression completely.
