╔════════════════════════╗ "What injustice have you committed?" ╚════════════════════════╝
Her skin crawled again with a strange, unidentifiable emotion as he his eyes, still burning red, turned upon. He smiled, intensifying that sensation. His first, blade words had her scowling. A bit of violet consuming the green of her pupils and she jerked her hands from his arm, and stuffed them within the folds of her cloak. "Of course not." She snapped, leveling him a glare, "What reason do I have to be concerned?" The void roared around her. Her tongue itched to ask what he meant by his master. Who was his master? What did he mean, she would know soon enough? Did that mean that she too, had a master? And if so, who was he? The questions burned behind her lips, but were smothered by further word's from Kinetav's. Krona's eyes, now a solid violet, and business-like, tracked Kinetav's every move, every expression, her ears strained to hear even the slight breath of word over the roar around them. Her sharpened sense did not miss the darting of his eyes to his blade, the fade of the sincere smile that had so strangely effected her, the tightening of his fist around the blade. It made her wonder, what the importance of this blade was. He was so secretive with it, so protective over it; it was as thought the weapon were...human. And she found herself wondering, ridiculously if it was. And as thought he had heard her musings, his next words confirmed her rousing suspicions. He gave the blade, a name a gender, spoke of it using "us" as though it were a companion, and his voice soft, holding a tenderness unusual for one speaking of a simple weapon. It was something she would normally have dismissed as a strange over-attachment to an object but in this case car too many clues pointed to it being more than simple sentiment. Did the blade have a conscious, she wondered. She recalled what she'd felt from it earlier, in Kinetav's arms, the strange feeling of being watched by another pair of eyes, the press of intense another presence, another soul coming from the blade. And each time Kinetav's voice morphed from one, into many, the blade played part. Questions many of them whirled in her head, but from them one stood out. What did it all mean? What was the blade...or...who was the blade? She looked up as he did, their eyes connecting. His face was solemn and she wondered what the reason possibly was. Kinetav was proving to be full of mysteries needed to be solved, suspicions to be investigated. And, she told herself, it was her duty as a bringer of justice to ensure that his actions were not unjust. It was not because of curiosity, or personal concern, she lectured, but because of duty. That, and nothing more. His next words irked her. There were far to many questions she needed answered, but she knew it was unreasonable to expect him, or demand him, to stay and answer. The shriek around them held no patience. But her irritation was lifted by his offer. Even so, she hesitated to answer. Would it be wise to follow him? The dark before her was unlike anything she had seen...it was somehow darker than shadow, blacker than black. It struck within her a strange a emotion...was it...fear? No. She snapped within her mind, I fear nothing. She glanced at shadow before them, then at the Basin behind them. What awaited her there? Nothing but the hostility of a were-beast, and a vampire who would no doubt the dealt with by the people, who had made it clear her justice was not welcome...it would not have stopped her normally, but killing the vampire would be tedious with him being so closely watched. and she simply held far less interest in them, than in what was going on around and with Kinetav. And, she told herself, she needed to ensure he was committing no injustice. She nodded, her face hardening with conviction. Her response came, hard with resolve, "I will go with you." Kinetav Erth’azar Anima | Dark Avenger | Adept | Devil’s Eye Desert 7/8 (8/8 when using Exodus)

The time for hiding might just be over But that doesn’t mean I’ll go crawling back to the Light When the Darkness was what saved me first
Man always tries to justify his existence Man always tries to justify his actions and wills But does good intention clear them of guilt?

”From the Shadow, we crawled out….”
*Kinetav's eyes followed Krona's gaze to the shadow, basin, and back as the Black Blood was clearly judging her options...no doubt with that usual, fake, hardened mentality of hers, a thought that made his grin return to his face and his cheerful mentality come forward. Krona had started off as an inquiring student, for sure wanting nothing but answers from him concerning what had happened to him in the Desert and training seeing as he was an adept and could train her... yet, he was definitely enjoying her presence... he decided that it kept things interesting for him and kept him on his toes, while making him more aware about the changes with him and Edge in the future.
At last Krona nodded, much to Kinetav's relief and joy as the Anima's grin widened and he looked into the darkness before him; it had been too long since he had seen the way into the impenetrable darkness and his body began to turn incorporeal again as he took a look into the Void that his Master had summoned, seeing the way to the tunnel where the shrieks and darkness was coming from. As his body returned to normal, he reached out a hand and placed it on Krona's shoulder, flooding her mind with the information of how to glimpse in the darkness as he spoke, the Call of the Void keeping the memories of the souls fresh in Kinetav's memory and his hollow voice continued:*
"Look into the darkness and realize the path that is set before us. We must definitely go in physically linked to try to stick together. If we get seperated in this darkness, try to take a glimpse or use your sense to find me like you did the first time... We are searching for either my Master, one of his servants, or a Voidsworn like us. Let's head on out, Krona."
*Kinetav stepped forward and looked back as he waited for Krona to learn the ability and step forward with him to the entrance of the tower.*

╔════════════════════════╗ "What injustice have you committed?" ╚════════════════════════╝
Krona's eyes narrowed at the grin that spread across his face at her agreement to follow him into the void. She wondered why the prospect of her accompanying him made him so chipper. Was a grin of triumph? A genuine grin of happiness? Her musings over his expression turned to thoughts of alarm as he once again flashed out of existence, as once again, a shapeless shadow replaced his form. He was back in the next blink, with his hand upon her shoulder. Instinct had her moving away, images, flooding her mind, froze her movements. It was the same as before, in the core. She could feel knowledge flowing into from his mind to hers, but there was something different this time. The knowledge, the words, the images of skill, were woven with other images that were not of ability, but of memory. Random blurry images not connected to one another, and she suspected, not connected to Kinetav. Each image held a different gender, a different race, a different memory of evil deed and death. Over the flood of images, she heard Kinetav's instruction, and this time, she could almost single out each voice mingled with his own, connect it to the random images in her mind. It only made her wonder all the more what these voices were, what these memories were, and what his blade was., But before she could see more, hear more, wonder more, his hand was gone, and was gone from her side, waiting at the prepice of shadow, and looking back at her. She reached into her mind for the knowledge she had just been given, brushing aside the strange memories covering it, and grasping it tightly with her conscious. A name floated to the surface of her mind, Glimpse into darkness. Knowledge merged with body, focused on sight. A strange sensation filled her body and she looked down to see her form had turned to shadow. It alarmed her in one moment; in the next she recognized the shame shapeless shadow Kinetav had been. When she looked up, she was no longer looking at screaming shadow but at an image, that of a tunnel...or what she assumed was one. The center was consumed by a darkness that she could not describe; a shadow that consumed shadow, a nameless powerful void with no bound. The very air about the tunnel shook with the force of the shrieks being emitted from the darkness, a horrendous sound, like demons being tortured. She released the knowledge from her conscious, and before she could blink, the image was gone, and she was once again staring at the black-clad back of Kinetav. Once again, her body had form. And in her mind she knew their path. There was no direct sense of direction; she could have drawn a map, or told another soul where to go. But it was like a force driving her body in that direction. She stepped forward toward Kinetav, and grasped his arm. The thought of having to hold his arm like a child did not appeal to her...but the thought of being lost in darkness appealed to her even less. It had not happened to her before, but she imagined that being lost in shadow such as the one before her would be unpleasant. And it wasn't so bad. At least he was someone she knew, and his arm was firm and warm and...she tore her thoughts away with a scowl. "I'm ready, let's go." She hissed, stepping forward, tugging him slightly Black Blood Dark Avenger Self-Proclaimed Harbringer of Justice Alligence to Self Creator lend me...

The grand plazas of Andalusia were in disarray and chaos. Wilders gathered together wherever they could, sweeping the children they found off the streets and into the more reclusive and fortifiable stretches of the residential areas. All around, bannermen hoisted the colors of their kin; among them was not a drop of red. Amidst the shouts of command and rallying calls, Adellos bounded into the city's primary plaza and stood on his hind legs. The Were-Jackal's had been formidable as a man, but here he was nearly a giant in stature. Other were-beasts could be seen barreling past the assembling tribes, leaping from Andalusia's higher floors or over crowds too large to pass through. The were wilders like all of the others; children of the Desert turned against their will for the Barons' amusement and studies. Their colors streaked in blurs along the plaza floor as they vanished from sight; many returning with weapons mere moments after.
In all of this, familiar faces could be seen. The ancient and stalwart Vestitor appeared, but was only recognized by the fire belching from his carapace. He was changed; enraged. The Berserker had suffered enough for one day, and was ready to smash any opposition into pink mist. Behind him came Yorda, and though she looked the same she did not carry an air of peace. War had come to Andalusia, and even now the chittering howls of and screams overshadowed the echoes of the cavern. Each of them could feel the floor still trembling under their feet.
Adellos rounded on Liliana and Dominic, and as his glaring canine eyes found that they were still close they flashed back up to the plaza's upper reaches. He could hear the way the echoes cast off the cavern ceiling, but the chaos of the plaza made it harder to pinpoint their origin. "Last Son! Command me!" Another Reaper, less maimed than Kerrark but far more battle scarred, slid to a halt beside the Were-Jackal. Uskarr's face was set and cold. Wilders scattered behind him at the piercing cry of a Dire Hawk. It swooped low and bottomed out along the cave floor, stopping a Uskarr's side. The Reaper leaped immediately to its back and the decorated saddle that was fitted to it. The grand raptor stared at the Seer and Vampire with proud, bold eyes. The Jackal snarled at Uskarr "Go to the causeway now! Find Telara!" The Reaper's avian mount took wing on a silent queue, and cried again to clear a path to fly from the plaza. Then came that voice again... that nightmarish, godless thing. It was loud enough to break through the cavern's cacophony.
এখনও আমার সন্তান হবে. আমি আপনার ব্যথা সাফ করা হইবে.
It came from down below, beyond the plaza. Beyond the forge... deeper still... from The Tower? No, impossible. How could an army emerge at the bottom of Andalusia? They would not have burrowed so far without being sensed. It was absurd. They were being toyed with; distracted, to blind them to the true plot. Where once were two there was one, and that one was not here. He was in danger!
"WHERE IS VALDIIR!!" The Were-Jackal bellowed over the cavern as he bounded forward towards the center of the plaza. "WHO HAS SEEN HIM?!"

Adellos' jackal face rounded on Liliana as he heard those words. Their Lord was down there with them. They attacked while he was exhausted; while all of them were vulnerable, and now.... Despite all of his fury, the Were-Jackal felt panic. He turned out and jumped onto the Great Plaza's fountain as his lungs rushed full of air. "UL'THRAN! CHAS'OM! CHAS'OM!" The Last Son's contorted shape clawed into the statue as he howled to the tribes. A ripple of silence went over the wilders. Their expressions darkened, and a few paled. It was a ghost they didn't want to visit.
"CHAS'OM! CHAS'OM VA! CHAS'OM FAR UL'THRAN!!!" The Were-Jackal leaped down into the tribes, shouting again as he rallied their resolve. He blazed a path directly back to Liliana, Hatchet still in hand and wild eyed as he snarled, "Hold on to me!" He did not ask twice or explain further as his shoulders bowed under her knees and tipped the Seer onto his back. The Vampire was not so comfortable. As he knocked Liliana and removed her from Dominic, Adellos' free claws seized him by the back of his neck. The Were-Jackal bounded past the wilders and their tribes; he bounded ahead and directly to the tunnel's gate. The sounds grew louder. Countless cries boomed off the tunnel walls to his ears, but he ran on. He could never forget the way to Ulthran Tower.

She wasn't stupid enough to let this chance to slip away on the mission early go. She then of course stole the map Adellos had drawn the path on to use when she went through the desert. She packed these things away into her bag then slipped out a window and scaled her way down the building they had been in. She had felt the ground tremble and such, but right now she didn't focus on that, instead she made her way out of Andalusia sticking to the shadows as she went. Along her way she picked up supplies from her apartment so that she would be more ready for her journey.

Barely noticing the return to the physical world, Liliana clung to Krayth, shaking and sobbing now that her screaming had stopped. She felt so weak right now, having to stand in the face of the man who tormented her old world. And it made her feel humiliated to be breaking down like this in front of Krayth. "I didn't want to," she whimpered. "I truly didn't want to..."

He kept her upright and turned her to face him. His face was strangely serene. He knew a peace that was unlike any he had felt in the past few days. That did not keep urgency from his voice. "Twice I have seen the man that haunts you; each time he moved closer to you. The third, I will be ready and so will you. Forget him now, and know this news."
She would hear the words echoing in his mind, the tongueless speech from before that was ever so alien to her... now it was coherent. It spoke in her as it had in him only moments before, the satisfaction of its truth filling Krayth with fire. I know that you are afraid, child... Are you afraid of Vincent? Are you afraid of the plague bringer? He is a charlatan! He is a lie! He knows no Master among Enon... but you shall bend his knee. You will deliver death to the false and faithless one... "We must go back. There is not much time." He did not elaborate. His mind spoke for him of what was to come... the plan he had to set in motion, desperate but necessary to ensure the survival of the Tribes... placing guilt upon the innocent. Forgive what I am about to do, the Anima's mind silently implored as he took the Seer by the hand and began to move back towards Ulthran.

Wind and Fire helped remove the traces of her tears as she was given the information about Vincent. And while she didn't agree with Krayth's plan regarding the wilders, she understood the necessity. "I'll need... I'll need my mark upon him to help you," she said as Krayth led her back towards the tower. "I just hope the one who did kill him will be willing to play along."
