"We have... Thank you for the invitation, I adore what you and Alcie had done to the common room," She smiled at Sin, dipping her head slightly at the hostess to be polite; she was grateful for the invitation, although being in a Demon-only party was starting to feel a tad uncomfortable... She felt rather stressed and odd to not be able to behave the same way she would behave if Amrita was here... Not that she was about to admit it to the ghoul who invited her in the first place!
She wanted to apologize then and there on Charlie's behalf, but the Demoness had already moved away... Besides, apologizing for Charlie in front of him would be rude right? If this was a normal party, she was sure everyone would just have a good laugh over the punch-drenched sleeves.
As she thought - Demon parties really are confusing and way too uptight!

Arachne nodded; 'I see what you mean. So he's just escorting you here?' she asked, adding; 'I had someone do that. But he seems to have vanished off somewhere.'
It was the first time she'd thought of Rosciel since she'd returned to the party, and it was with amusement. Maybe she should seek him out and annoy him some more, in a bantery sort of way. She turned her attention back to Dragain and this Charlie, nodding at Sin, and glancing at the demons that Sin was now speaking with, especially the ghoul with the strange tendrils on her head.
'Hello soggy one.'

Ouuuu, this boil was so nice. Not that Tomoko had been expecting to come to school and suddenly be in the middle of a pit of mean people all beating her with sticks in the style of a Shoujo-manga-imagination-gone-wil- Okay. That had been what she'd been expecting. Was probably better for her to not lie. At least not to herself.
"That's..an interesting view on it. I like that better than the Pet Training class...." her ears drooped. Ultimately she'd never been able to use the whip that had been brought into play by the professor. It had been a touch too 'personal' for her tastes. She couldn't use such a thing on Desades, even if he was a little...slow.
That was a good word for it.
"T-that would be nice." Tomoko submitted quite easily to the idea of keeping at least someone who wasn't '100%' stranger to her nearby as company at this strange gathering, looking at the offered shoulder and reaching up to tentatively take it when the ball of starts she cradled attempted to make an escape from her. The kitsune's attention immediately tunnelvisioned to keep it in her arms.
djfas;kdf.
She'd dropped it on the floor once before and she was never doing it again.
Once she'd finished that minor panic attack, however, she just settled for putting her arm in the crook of his. Easier than trying to lift her arm up to that shoulder. He was talllll!
"Ah!" Tomoko had apparently forgotten about introductions until the Nekogami made his, the Kitsune smiling awkwardly. "My name is Tomoko. It's very nice to meet you, Jack-B." Though in her case it came out sounding a bit more like 'Jakku-B'.

Whisper gave sin a thumbs up and a wave as she drank some of the punch. Her tail was lightly swaying back and forth, content on where she was. This was turning out quite nicely, and she definitely was glad she came. She wasn't sure who she wanted to approach first, there were too many interesting targets demons around. Perhaps she would wait for the hostesses to greet everyone else, then thank them for the invitation. After all, she felt it was very rude to address someone when they were talking with others.
So she continued her usual habit of staring and not noticing. The kitsune demon was quite cute, she seemed very shy and quiet. The one she was talking to had his own...aura of interesting. She couldn't quite put her finger on it at the moment, but she was sure she'd figure it over time; and a lot of investigating.

Sin smiled at Riley glad she was understanding and then nodded at Barth with a slow grin. "Of course the pleasure was all mine, I'm glad you could join us." Then of course there was Claire, goodness but she seemed...happy? Excited? What was the word? Well whatever she was, she had loads of energy it seemed.
"Claire pleased to meet you, thank you..." She had feeling the younger ghoul hadn't mean to offend. "Please help yourselves to some food, Riley I think the caterer included some delicious brain hors d'ourves that you'll enjoy."
She cocked her head as the music changed and almost sighed with pleasure, ahh the tango, a dance of passion. She loved old world music, it was a good thing Alcie had included some along with the newer songs. "And of course, the dance floor is open." She grinned at Riley, half surprised to see her with Barth as her escort but pleased non-the-less. She hardly could have come to an exclusive demon party with Malodore after all.

When more people had shown up, Rosc had moved from the couch and back to his place at the wall. He smirked a bit at the sight of the pink-haired couple. The boil was actually kind of funny, in his expressions as well as what he was doing. Alcie and Sin probably wouldn't be happy with the punch trail all over the place, but it was hard not to laugh at the scene, even if it was just in his head. Arachne had come back downstairs and had start talking to them. He noted the couples and who came alone, who grouped around whom and who moved about with a social confidence he'd never have. He could act fine with it, could be cool and collected, but things like this really made him uncomfortable. He needed a distraction, or to go back to his room.
And then the music changed. A small smirk spread on his face. He moved from his position and approached one of the hostesses, putting a hand on Sin's shoulder. "Excuse me, but would you like to make use of this song? Unless you don't think you could keep up?" he asked Sin, raising one eyebrow.

In true Westus fashion, the wrath demon had completely forgotten there was a party tonight, only realizing that was the case when he arrived back at the demon dorms and caught a glimpse of a bunch of fancied up students in the common room. He debated whether or not to even show up at all, but eventually decided that he literally had nothing better to do. Pulling on a pale shirt and a jacket and pants in matching gray, he strode into the party, his beeline for the food only interrupted by the table full of favors. He shrugged, then chose one from the second row. A short while later, after he had raided the buffet, West took a moment to look around. There was Carry (yay), Barth (yay if there were no mountains around), Livi (pink's totally better than green, dude), and Riley ( brains). He vaguely recognized some of the other demons in the room, but contrary to the purpose of this gathering, West would never be considered a mingler. Balancing his plate carefully in his good hand, West made his way over to Carthusia and Livius first, offering them a mocking little bow. "Tried any'uh thisstuff'yet?" he asked, picking at a dainty little sandwich with his spectacularly bruised hand. Classy.

Sin's effortless and impeccable manner pleased Riley. The sound of brain hors d'oeuvres pleased her even more. Riley gave Sin a solemn boy of her head, just as she was asked to dance.
Dance?
Riley was reminded, with a cold slap of memory, that she still hadn't learned how to dance yet. Israfel was supposed to teach her.. but nothing had come of it. She glared at Barth for a moment with a sideglance, before gently letting Claire go.
Claire, try out the buffet, and tell me what's good? She asked the girl, before taking her brother's hand and pulling him closer, eye to eye. You. She growled. I need your help with something.
Without really explaining what it was she needed, she walked off, still holding his hand. She led the poor helpless sloth demon to the dance floor, and swiveled around in place. She pulled his hand around her waist, and with her other hand she took his. It was all very clinical in fashion, though to the outsider it wouldn't truly look so.
Teach me how to dance.

"You tango?" Sin asked Rosc with a slowly arching brow before a smile started to slide over her lips. "Keep up? I'll have to slow my pace to make sure I don't leave you behind." She grinned and took his hand letting him lead her onto the dancefloor.
She noticed Riley appeared to be up for a dance as well, she just hoped the other ghoul knew what she was doing because she was about to burn up this dance floor. She had to take a second to mentally thank her mother for the hundreds of dance lessons over the years, and her father for insisting she word out everyday. She eyed Rosc for a moment curious if he was really as good as he thought.

Barth's eyes widened as Riley pulled him close and then dragged him off. He had a distinct feeling of unease. He hoped she didn't want to initiate a demon duel or something. He wasn't very good at it.
...Oh. Dancing. Actually not too different from dueling.
"Alright," Barth said, recovering his dignity and footing. "It's similar to Undead Kombat. In, err, that you have different move combinations."
He started slowly, and moved on to slower, and lead her easily through slowest. He had a fair repertoire of steps at his disposal, even if the tempo had been drained to a crawl.
A snail-like twirl gradually eased into a sluggish dip.
"Not difficult at all, really," he said, "This is, err, a dip." He relied on Riley to hold on and not fall. Of course, Sin (even slow) had a very different pace from the one he was using.

She was instantly relieved to hear that learning how to dance would be as easy as learning how to play a video game. She had picked the right instructor.
Her eyes drifted down to follow his feet, her face the picture of determination. Her own feet followed his every move, whirling slowly in tandem - until suddenly her world was upside down, and her tentacles were tasting floor.
She blinked at the position he'd bent her into, cataloguing it internally as a 'dip', before something else caught her eye.
She pulled herself up, and slid both her arms around his neck to pull him closer. Her eyes were narrowed to slits.
Barth, she whispered into his ear, although obviously she didn't actually whisper into his ear. It was just habit to place her face in that position. It seems we have a spy.
She backed her head away slightly and her chin nudged in the direction of the window, where she had suddenly noticed Christof watching from a window.

"Is there?" he asked, sneaking a look himself. There was.
Well, he isn't doing any harm. He thought back to her. Is he? What's he doing up there in the first place? The last time Christof had been hanging about windows the situation had...gone to pieces.

((Gabe is... special and will pick from the first row of gifts.))
They were late.
Oh-so-very late. Okay, well, no. That was a lie; Gabrian and Tsetsiliya weren't that late arriving to the party, but they had taken much more time arriving to it than he'd wished to have, "I'm sorry," he was telling the ghoul, "I wasn't anticipating my Death Charm would pick today, of all days, to throw a mighty tantrum," he patted the ghoul's hand, which was neatly tucked around his arm (it was only proper after all - they were not on a real date, but he was escorting her, and thus, it made perfect sense), "I appreciate the fact you decided to come fetch me instead of the other way around, though I must admit I feel slightly inadequate. It should have been me picking you up, my dear."
After that first day the Death Charm had hatched... he had actually been rather well behaved. As such, when the creature had rebelled only minutes before the demon had gone to fetch Tsetsiliya, he had been rather surprised to say the least. The damage done to his room had been minimal, but the chaos the Charm had created meant he'd been forced to set order between his pets and calm the more skittish ones down before leaving.
Alas, what was done... was done and they were here now, which was all that really mattered, "Hopefully this shan't be too awkward," this was murmured mostly under his breath, but the girl beside him doubtlessly heard him. He arched an appreciative brow at the transformation the Demon common room had endured, though he expected no less from the ghouls that had arranged the party, "They even have party favors," there was a small tinge of amusement as the nix looked at all the different boxes, though his gaze was instantly attracted to those on the first row.
He spotted several people he knew (all of which he nodded at in silent salute); Sin, Alcye and... was that Riley on the dance floor? He did a mild double take and stared for a moment before deciding that was rude and turning away. Where was Livi anyhow? Had he arrived yet?

Rosc actually chuckled a bit as he led Sin out onto the dance floor. Slow her pace, oh she was going to be in for a surprise. Once they had reached the floor, he stepped away from her, though he held onto her hand. He bowed slightly to place a quick kiss on the glove before he straightened and pulled her close in one smooth motion.
"Don't slow down, too much," he whispered with a smirk, sliding his free hand onto her waist.

Sin was amused to say the least, she was certain she would dance circles around the confident Mr Rosc. However she had to incline her head as he pulled her close swiftly and whispered to her in perfect sync with the music. As quickly as he had pulled her in he twirled her out and Sin found herself connected to him by mere fingertips as she ran her hand down her side. A heartbeat later she had twirled back into his arms her heart starting to pick up pace, because of the music right?
Jack, but he was a damn good dancer, and she had been to parties since she could walk. She felt the muscles in her arm contract and slid easily back as he moved her into a dip. Why did she trust him not to drop her? Maybe it was because she realized by now he hadn't been boasting or exaggerating his dancing skills. He moved her from one arm to the other as if she were a feather and then slowly dipped her lower. Whoa! She lightly ran her gloves fingers along his cheek as he practically touched her to the floor before bring her back up with the same fluid ease. He lifted her and her legs clung to his a moment before she was slid back onto the ground.
He released her and she took the chance to make a few slow twists back, her legs sliding up and then her heels carefully setting back down in a complicated set of movements. She grinned and advanced towards him again, her hand sliding against his face, for a moment she was afraid the close contact with his blindfold would make him flinch. She slid her fingers down his neck and then took his shoulder again. She gave a little half gasp as he pulled her in close again. Well this was...cozy...but then his feet were moving, hers moving to match, she slid her leg along his calf. His hands slid down to her waist and she grinned as he dipped her again before pulling her up and then almost pushing her. Ahh dancing it almost felt like flying, she spun closer to him again.
Then she was startled, his hands moved back to her waist but instead of a dip he lifted her. Her body fell into position naturally, her knee coming up, her leg sliding back as she balanced. He lowered her again moving them both into a slow spin. Then he lifted her again, this time she was ready, she placed her hands on his shoulders her legs scissoring. He set her down again and she smirked at him, couldn't get the best of her. He advanced, she slid back one knee grazing the dance floor, the other leg sliding straight. She felt the slow pull as he leaned over her and lifted her as the music began to fade into a different temp, a different song.
She could feel the warmth of his breath against her neck for a moment before she straightened and touched her hair stepping back. Well...that was...something...her updo was a bit loose now. She felt warm, well of course all that dancing and lifting and...punch! She ought to have some punch. She gave Rosc a quick half curtsy, "You're an amazing dancer...if you'll excuse me..."
