Jade was silent for a moment, having thought he'd left already. "Go ahead and prepare yourself, it's sudden, but I'm sure a ninja of your caliber can handle this no?" Jade stopped, looking up at David, raising an eyebrow. Her pen was poised over the document she had been working on.

A young chuunin came rushing into the tower from the gate, and, steeling himself, ran up all 69 stories of the tower in less than two minutes, before skidding to a stop before the Kage's office. Hurriedly stepping through the portal he snapped to attention, making his report. "Kazekage-Sama! There is a commotion at the gate! When I left, it looked like a fight was about to break out!" With his report made, the young man attempted to subtly catch his breath while remaining at attention, waiting for the kage's reply or dismissal.

When Koizumi entered the village,she ran straight to the kazekage's tower, and up the stairs to her office.After that, she waited for her orders, or the yelling that she might receive.

Jade's inner self gave a really wide smirk, which did not show on her outer self. A sannin needed to be strong, and ruthless in battle. They needed to be able to lead the new generation. Any S-rank had to know the ups and the downs of life, and shouldn't allow themselves to be caught up in anything to halt their duties. "I've never seen your skills, ever." She had heard of her clan, and wished to put this to the test. Everything about Koi was going to be tested. Jade needed to know that she could trust Koi if anything kept her away for something, especially a war. "Head over to the oasis, there you shall be tested." Jade's clone gestured for Koi to leave.

David quickly reached the area of the tower, popping out of the sand and into the unusual cave underneath. Brushing himself off, he stood, looking around. It was dark, as could be expected, but enough light was trailing down through the chute to where he could see somewhat. That's right, the chute... The hole itself was rather small, only about ten feet square, and hardly enough room to move without ducking one's head. And the chute, it ran up as far as the eye could see. David had his suspicions as to where it went, but he had to be sure. Standing directly under the hole, he began to rise, a small platform of sand formed under his feet lifting him through the chute. As he rose, he began to pick up speed, disliking the idea of spending forever going up. Finally, he was at the top. Stopped a foot below the top, he could see a stone slab, with light filtering through the cracks. Obviously this was the end of the tunnel. Holding up his right hand, he let his sand escape the weight, flowing into the cracks, and pushing around, until he finally saw it move. Sure now of the direction, he filtered more and more sand into the hole, slowly pushing back the trap door, until he could slip through. The sand platform rose, until he was completely through the gap, and set him on the floor. The sand from his weight then returned, the trap slamming shut with it no longer forcing it open.

Looking around, David nodded. It was as he thought, the chute led straight to the kazekage's office. Why it was there was easy to guess, but he couldn't imagine it actually being used. It was a sure death to anyone put through it at that height. Well, the kazekage didn't seem to be here at the moment, so beyond his exploration there was no reason to stay. That cave did give him an idea, though he'd save that for later. For now, he was off to find the kage.

Deciding the door would be an issue, thanks to any guards stationed outside who would be very curious how he got in, David slid the office window open and jumped out, his sand platform reforming beneath him as he shot off away from the tower.

As soon as the window was opened, an alert went off only noticeable by the ANBU guards stationed outside the door. Rushing into the room, weapons at the ready to dispose of whoever it was that broke in, they were met with, nothing. The two guards looked at each other, then did a quick sweep of the room, checking anywhere an intruder could hide, as well as the walls outside the window. Finding nothing but the usual, they gave up, unsure of what had happened. One of them closed the window, latching it shut tightly, and they both returned to their station outside.
