The tower of the Kazekage is massive to say the least. It reaches so high into the air, and is rounded, with layers of walls that act as fortification. Each series of floors is dedicated for a single purpose. There are multiple training rooms, archives, offices, and much more. At the top, somewhere in the center of the structure, lies the Kazekage's office. The office is decorated nicely, with two desks, one with loads of paper, and a regular sized chair. This was not the Kazekage's desk. The current Kage, Jade Uchiha, did not like much paper work. Her desk had a few folders, and was organized. There were plenty of drawers, each with their own secrets. There were a few chairs in the room, an entire wall dedicated to scrolls and books, and another wall for pictures and odd trinkets. Please be respectful in the office, or take a trip down all 69 floors of the Kazekage's office and meet your grim end at the bottom.

Jade Uchiha, the Kazekage, sat in her high-backed chair, sipping a cup of tea, and reading a folder. Her Kage robes were currently on her, as she had just returned from a meeting. She looked well, to say the least. Her long white hair was tied high on her head, though it still fell a long way. There were no visible weapons on her, though plenty that she could use. Her attire had changed slightly, such as different clothing, though it was still sparse. That was all for the sake of maneuvering without having anything flapping around. Upon her neck, was the necklace that she had been given a year ago, as an engagement 'ring'. Jade placed the file down, signing her name in her intricate manner, and placing it in an 'out' section. She rose to her feet, and headed to the window, gazing out at her village. It had been a year ago that she had come into power, after retiring. So far, everything had been running smoothly, which was a good sign.

"Sir! Sir! You can't just--"
A foot kicked open the doors to the Kazekage's office. The culprit? The man that entered the village juts minute before. Both hands were in his coat pockets, and he was grinning slightly. "Heard ya the first time.." His shades made his eyes unreadable, but it was apparent that they were glued on Jade; she would be able to feel it. It was a mixed feeling, both intimidating and... something else. "Oi! Heard there was a new Kazekage callin' the shots. Didn't think she'd look this fine, though." He turned his head to the attendant that tried to stop him. "You, Missy, two bottles of sake." "Wh... what?" He waved his hands. "Sake, now. Fetch."

Jade had heard the commotion down the hallway, and had prepared a kunai, which was hidden up her sleeve, though, something seemed too familiar about this man, yet so alien. When he spoke, Jade turned her head, a smirk on her face. "Just who the hell do you think you are?" She said, turning around to face the mystery man. "Ordering my staff around, asking for my sake, kicking open my door." Each time she spoke, she grew dangerously close to the man, who was coincidentally standing over her trap door, which had yet to be tested.

"Who am I indeed... Well." He looked down. "Cute." Then back up. "Bes to start at the beginning, then. Most people don't know this, but gods walk among them. See, a god cannot be born among men whole. Screws with Life and Death balance and all that. When, by some freak chance, one should, that god is made to be incomplete to compensate." He took a step forward. "When the god finds all of his pieces, his other 'selves', he is made whole again, and remade into his true form. Shinigami-kun walks this world again, and his first stop is to see how you're doin'. You should feel honored."
As he finished, the assistant brought the bottles. He nodded an took them with one hand, then placed something in her hand with the other. It was a small sack. "Knock yerself out." It jingled. Coins, gold ones at that. He then used his foot to close the door, isolating Jade and himself in their own little world now. He placed one bottle on Jade's desk, then opened the other and took a swallow. "And now, this one wants to know something about you: What gives a newbie the right to run a village, eh?" His voice was controlled and ice cold, unlike how he spoke when the world outside the office connected with the inside.

Jade's almond shaped eyes narrowed, becoming nigh on slits. This man was speaking of himself as if he was a god. "For one who speaks of himself as a 'shinigami', don't you think that is a tad hypocritical?" She didn't feel the need to point out that she was certainly no newbie, therefore not justifying his question with an answer. Already this mysterious man was getting on her nerves. In the blink of an eye, Jade's arm lashed out, snatching away the sake bottle, and placing it on her desk with the other. God, they had just finished refurnishing this place to her exact liking, and now it seemed as if things were going to get messy.

The man frowned and shrugged. "Can't change who I am now, just like you can't. Sure, we can get stronger, get prettier, get cooler, get faster, but we're still the same being no matter what. It's just some are harder to kill. You proved that with the Nasty that got ya here in the first place, I suppose." Then he twitched slightly. " Tear down the moon, the stars, or the wholes damned sky..." Came from behind her, then the man in front of her vanished. He'd already gotten behind her, now staring out through the window; for a split second, he had been in two places at once. "Well... I guess I really could, now." He grinned. "Actually, I think I'd love to try it for real. Readjust the stars, too, to spell out 'Jade owns all'.... Yea, nice ring to it."

Jade's anger immediately put itself on pause when the man uttered a single phrase. Her hand went to her necklace, and her mouth fell open in a little gasp. 'Tear down the moon, the stars, or the whole damned sky...' She would never have forgotten that. Jade took a step towards him, to the window. It had been a year since Vento left, in an attempt to find him {yeah let's go with that}. A year that Jade had not heard a word from her fiance, or anything. And now, he simply appears as if he owns the place, and he was...strikingly different. "Aeden?" Jade said, just above a whisper. She was behind him now, her eyes on the floor. At that single moment, she seemed quite vulnerable.

After simply standing there for a moment, Jade leaned back, gazing at the man she loved. She held up her closed hand, and began counting off. "For starters, you missed a battle, and a big one at that. I could've died." One finger when up, her thumb. "Secondly, you let poor Vento-chan come here alone, what if something happened to her?" Another finger went up, her pointer finger. "Thirdly, you left me worried." Another finger went up. "Fourthly, you left me at a cliff-hanger, letting Vento know you were off to find Raden." Her ring finger went up. "Lastly...you broke my heart." Her last finger went up, followed by the resonating sound of a smack. Jade let her hand fall to her side. He was too different. He was taller, seemed more rough, and even much more...cruel. "What happened?"

One." His right index finger rose. He seemed unaffected by her slap. "You, die? Not possible. Two." The middle finger rose as well. "She wanted to go, and she's a dragon. Not many people could stand toe-to-toe with her, myself included. Third." Up went the ring finger. "... Can't help that one. Fourth." The pinkie. "If I took the time to explain in detail what I didn't know myself, the gang would have been long gone and I would have never had my chance. Lasty..." His hand dropped. "... I got nothin'...." Now came for the explination.... " 'I am a weapon, nothing more, nothing less.' You remember me tellin' you that when we first met? From the time I was born to just recently, that was true. Why? Because I was... 'incomplete'. Four children: Aeden, Haden, Maden, and Raden were born at the exact same time. Funny, eh? I thought so, at least. Long story short, we were all apart of something more. What you see now is a result of that. 'Weapon Aeden' was born with the lack of 'Soul'. 'Hate', 'Envy', 'Greed'. He knew nothing of the motives of man, which until he met you also included 'Love'. You changed everything. As for why he left... he was given a choice by the others: Meet them head on to complete himself or suffer knowing he was the reason the modern world was attacked by three equally gifted people. The four were made into one: A's brains, H's strength, R's soul, and M's heart. I'm still me, just... open to what I think and want now. Still getting use to it."
He touched her necklace with his finger as it resonated with a small hum. "The process was... torture. For most of the time, I was asleep, but unable to dream. When I wasn't sleeping, I felt like I was in the middle of a valcano with sand in my lungs getting electrocuted in a Malestrum, if you can imagine all that in one. This was the only thing keeping me going."

Jade clenched her teeth through the explanation, not even knowing what to say. After his words, Jade remained still, looking at him through his glasses. She couldn't say anything. She scoffed at herself, her inability to know what to do. Jade was always 13 steps ahead of the world, but now it felt as if she was miles behind the situation. She sat at her desk for a moment, a blank look on her face. With a sigh, she reached out and grabbed the bottle of sake, tipping it to her lips and taking a large swig. "Well then..." His adventure had totally pushed hers aside, but there was still the task of understanding Aeden, or Raden, or whoever the heck he was and whatever the heck he called himself. Jade drummed her fingers against the desk, and then rose to her feet once more. She faced Aeden, though leaned against her desk, still holding the sake bottle "What...what did you do prior to coming here?"

Aeden shook his head. "After I woke up for real? Nothing. Came straight for you. So... crossed a couple of mountains, went through a forest packed with idiot bandits and such, crossed a desert... Nothing fancy, unfortunately, it was the quickest way to get here. Wouldn't want you to think it was o.k. to go run off with some other hot guy, now would I?... Or did you? Is Aeden gonna have to shove his boot up someone's a**?... Knowing you, he might like that kind of thing.... and it would make my new boots smell horrid...."
He actually laughed once or twice. Turns out he actually got nervous around Jade. Why was that,,,? He felt like a child the first time he asked the girl he likes to go out with him. This was going to be hard to get use to. Very hard indeed. He couldn't shut up and his face felt a little hot, two things that were never a problem before.

{on a side note, it took me some time to get the 'shacked up' part to look right...everytime I wrote something, it looked too ghetto fer Jade x.x}
Jade's eyebrows furrowed at the accusation. "How dare you even think that! I would never cheat on Aeden!" She said, her voice raising a bit. "Hell! I'm the one that should be worried! What with your new found 'godlike' powers, what's left to assure me you haven't shacked up with a few women here and there?" Jade said, nigh on yelling. Aeden had never been one to be rough or violent, and now here he was taking her old motto of shoving boots up people's behinds.
