Owwin I wish that nobody could have wishes granted! There, that covers my wish and yours.
And just before the final moments draw near, just before you let out one last breath, (not to mention completely void your bowels), you then wake up, not in a hospital bed, but your own, discovering it was all just a dream.

Well, as the wishes CAN and HAVE to be corrupted... I say that the wish makes CAN have their fingers crossed as they grant the wish, making the wish they granted a lie.
thus, there WILL be wish granting anyway, and thus corrupting (somewhat) what the wish asked for, and they did not get, completely.
You know, I wish I understood that more. xD

But then another weegee comes around and the world explodes from the crossing of the similar powers. Thus, you are never able to use them again.
I wish I had a dragon companion who had no wish to eat and/or kill me.

Wish granted, however the dragon wishes to form an 80's rock and roll band without you. Eventually the bond breaks away and you two tread down separate paths.
The dragon and his band become famous until he accidentally sets fire to a stage in Tokyo, causing the Japanese government to put him under arrest. Twenty years after his arrest, he is released on parole and retires his career completely to become a sushi master. But you're still without a dragon companion. :c

woohoo! Wish granted! Sadly however, the resultant flux of thinking-before-speaking in the general population sparks the brains of all humanity into a cognitive stage of evolution that tips only your brain into a state of hyper-awareness... mind-reading or telepathy is now science-fact not science-fiction-- just for you. So now when any person is thinking through a response you can hear the process of them working through all the options. This makes the whole 'thinking-before-speaking' a moot point since you can hear when someone thinks you are a cow even when they tell you they never could think such a thing.

The waiting and standing causes your legs to develop arthritis and you can no longer stand by the time you turn 40.

Granted. But they speak so softly and slowly, you have to press your ears to the trunk for long periods of time just to hear what they're saying. And if you wish to converse back, you must also speak sllloooooooowwwwwwlllllllyyyyy aaaaaaannnnndddddddd soooofffffffttttttttllllllllyyyyyyy.
I wish I could pause and resume real-time at will, with me left unfrozen to resume time.
