Already adjusted to the dim light and prepared for anything that might pop out from all sides of him, he had his eyes trained for movement when he spotted the other girl. At first, he tried to see if it was another prop and was getting ready to beat the cardboard construction into submission when he noticed it was one of the girls from before and lowered his foam axe. “Finally, someone else. I thought I’d be staying down here alone for the rest of this game.” Really, to be down in the basement didn’t put you in high spirits, and the dim lights and dirt only reinforced the idea that he was really off track. Was this a sign he was getting colder? At this point, he was wondering if he even still cared about the prize and was thinking more and more about just completing the course.

Since he was headed that way and following the same though process of Calintha, he headed towards the breeze, explaining to the other girl what had happened and that, yes, he was Ladon. “I fell through the trap door and landed on something soft in a dark room. When I left it, I came to a labyrinth of sorts with 3 hallways, and took this one because I could feel a breeze, and it didn’t seem to have any monsters in it. How did you get down here?” He looked around for any stairs or doors she might have wandered through, and wondered if they should head back upstairs or not.

The... omg is that a zipline?! IT IS! CHASM - Calintha, Ladon
The breeze has turned into a wind here -- you can hear the steady hum of industrial-sized fans as they spin lazily about. The foliage planted here for atmosphere seems to be reaching towards you with their flailing branches and leaves. Around the corner, there is a lone spotlight that brightens up the room, drawing your attention immediately to two slings connected to a thick cord that runs from the area you are and downward, into the darkness. The slings look like a small swing-set, only the "seat" isn't wide enough to sit down. Maybe you're supposed to put your foot into it and hold on?

A couple steps away from the slings is a deep, dark chasm. Slowly, carefully you lean over the edge and peer down into the darkness, but you cannot see a bottom. A sudden gust of wind kicks up from the abyss, causing both lines to shake!

The thick cord the zip-lines are attached to seem to be placed far enough away to prevent accidental mid-air crashes. For at least a foot -- the rest of the room is in complete darkness. Who's to say if there even is another side to zip over to?
To use the zip-line, roll a 10-sided dice.
Go back to the previous room and head towards the darkness.
Go back to the previous room and head towards the rock-like object.

The Door on the Left - Liliana
Your wishes are answered, and the room in question is a LOT cleaner than the rest of the attraction so far. In fact, there was even a giant pond that split the room in two! The astro-turf looked pleasantly realistic, from the painted "forest" on the walls to the miniature trees that were planted, it was as if someone did their best to literally rip a chunk of nature out and move it into the building. And look! Against one side was a pleasant-sounding waterfall, and -
"Riiibbit."
what was that.
Your eyes are pulled to one side of the pond, where there are five things. The first was a beachball-sized frog-like thing that was staring lazily at you. The second was a kitten-sized sheep that was contently grazing on a plant. Said plant was in a pot, and covered in bright purple flowers.

Next to these objects was a sign: TAKE US ALL ACROSS THE RIVER. IF LEFT ALONE, SHEEP WILL EAT PLANT. FROG WILL EAT SHEEP. Next to the sign is a boat. You see enough room for you and only one other object at a time. You can't see any exits from here, and the pond looks too wide to jump, and too deep to be a pleasant wade.
Cross the "river" by yourself.
Bring the plant to the other side.
Bring the frog to the other side.
Bring the sheep to the other side.

The Door on the Right - Peyton
As you enter the room, the door creates a very loud and unfriendly CLICK behind you as it closes. The door doesn't move when you try to pull it open again -- it looks as if you are committed to this room. The room itself is bare, save for three displays.

The first display has a mannequin wearing padding for a sport. It's difficult to tell if it's for hockey or football, but whatever it is, it looks protective.

The second display has a vest, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards. The mannequin is also holding a wooden baseball bat.

The last display's mannequin is wearing nothing save for a messenger back looped over its shoulder.

You can see a door on the other side, as well as the word CHOOSE ONE spray-painted in big letters on the ground.

Pick the FIRST display.
Pick the SECOND display.
Pick the THIRD display.

"I took a magical hot air balloon ride to the basement." Most of the time, this would have been a sarcastic statement. However, Calintha said it deadpan, since it was a fact. "Though, it was minus the hot air balloon part. They had the balloon baskets hooked onto wires- the other two girls went up, and I went down." She realized what a good 'that's what she said' statement it had been. Calintha smiled a little, and looked around the new room. The wind was fiercer here, and Calintha reached up to tighten her headband, making sure it wouldn't fly off.

"What... is that a zipline?" Holy crap. Calintha started smiling. It was little to begin with, but it slowly grew into a full fledged grin. Calintha had NEVER been afraid of heights, and she fully enjoyed them. She'd also always wanted to be on a zipline, and never got the opportunity. So this 'game' was turning out to be a good thing.

"I...don't know about you Ladon," She turned and looked the other boy in the eyes, still smiling. "But I really REALLY want to go on that zipline." In fact, she'd already chosen to ride the zipline. The blonde girl also really hoped that the boy she was with wasn't afraid of heights. "I'd also really like it if I wasn't alone facing whatever is at the bottom of this chasm. Will you come with?" She looked hopeful as she moved over to the little slings, though she was perturbed to find that they were not the kind of zipline that you would sit in. It looked instead like they would have to stand in them, which made it a little more dangerous.

Even though it was dumb, and dangerous, and slightly suspicious that the storefront led to an underground chasm, she couldn't not play. I mean, it was an advertised game; they wouldn't let her get hurt- right? Regardless she slipped her sword through her belt loop, making sure that it was snug and not going anywhere during the ride. Calintha kept one foot on the ground while sticking the other in the sling. "Will you come?" She looked over at Ladon hopefully. Black Chasm's were less scary when someone else was there too.

It took Peyton a few moments to realize that she was alone. Liliana hadn't followed her, leaving her all by herself. ...Oh. Whoops. Suddenly feeling somewhat vulnerable, Peyton turned to look at the room before her, frowning. ...Mannequins? They were creepy, with their lack of facial features and stuff... Continuing to survey the room she spotted the door, sighing. She had to choose one? Great. Taking a step forwards to get a better look, Peyton swung her baseball bat over her shoulder, glancing at the first one...first.

Padding? That was really quite protective, but she'd never been a fan of the stuff. It was almost over-protective, and you could hardly tell it was you inside it once you were fully covered. No, definitely not. The second display still seemed protective but far less so, and the fact that it had a baseball bat caused her to look at her own. A message, perhaps, that she should choose it? And that baseball bat actually looked wooden, as opposed to her own stupid foam one. She only gave the third a quick glance - it was practically naked! Walking forwards, she picked the second display.

That was NOT a zipline. There was no way that was a zipline over a black, dark, deep chasm! There was no way in hell this was here!

Ladon was frozen to the spot a good number of steps from the edge, simply looking as their path stopped to drop down into a dark abyss. Then his eyes looked at the zipline that shook and rattled as a swift wind shot up from the gapping mouth of the chasm, jingling the harness like bells on a string. At this point, his eyes followed the vibrating zipline down into the dark, and his eyes went to Calintha to confirm that there was no way they were taking this route.

The wide grin he got was almost more terrifying, and he stepped back. “You’ve got to be kidding me?” She wasn’t, and even more astonishing, surprising, downright insane, was that she WANTED to go down. He had a sudden feeling that Calintha was the type of person who liked jumping out of airplanes and scaling mountains without a safety line. This wasn’t Ladon. Ladon liked being on the ground. Even as Wolframite, he didn’t go up to the higher roofs. Ground, firm, safe, and reliable aside from earthquakes, was what he liked.

Just as he was about to try and convince the girl otherwise, he was directly asked to come with her, and her hopeful look mixed with a sense of bordering disappointment and sadness that was ready to show itself if he refused kept him from running in the opposite direction. This wasn’t good. Ladon didn’t like heights, he didn’t like unsafe harnesses, and he didn’t like questionable chasms that didn’t seem to have an end. There didn’t seem to be any light, and he was becoming angrier at the fact that this place refused to light anything. Still, he was raised to be kind to ladies, and there was also a pleading sense of need from the girl. He did like being needed, and the idea of walking off to take one of the other two hallways alone didn’t sound all that appealing either. If this was here, who was there to say that he might face something worse. Then he’d be alone and unable to get help from a girl who probably would feel betrayed.

This was going to suck.

“Ohh- Okay.” He said, slowly stepping closer. “…but I’m ..not very good with heights…” He could feel his legs get weak as a high wind rushed by him. “…or this.” He fell down a trapdoor and had a cushion to catch him. There had to be something down there as a safety precaution then, right?

When he noticed that the harness wasn’t one you had to sit in but stand in, he felt his stomach drop down into his shoes, and his already white complexion turned blue. With clammy hands, he stepped in, and looked to her. “Ladies first?” He indicated, and just as Calintha zipped down, he followed her on his own zipline, muttering every prayer he could think that he made it to whatever was on the other side.

Liliana smiled when she noticed the decorations were getting better and even more so it was cleaner, brighter, and far better looking then every other room she and the other's had been in.

There was a pond and what was that ... a frog, sheep and a plant, along with a sign, but no Peyton. She frowned at the fact and that yes they had indeed be separated. She silently hoped the girl fared well in whatever her next task may be.

"Take them all across," she whispered after reading the sign. She stood for a second looking to the small boat that she would have to cross in. It was certainly to small for all of the item and herself, but the sign said take them all and so that had to mean she had to do it one by one.

'The sheep will eat the plant and the frog will eat the sheep,' she pondered to herself thinking on what she would need to take first.

She looked to the plant for a moment, then to the frog, and figuring the plant would be safe with the frog, she turned and picked up the sheep. She frowned realizing that she would have to take the sheep, then return for the plant, then take it over and bring the sheep back with her, so that she could take the frog over and finally return again for the sheep. It was tedious and did not seem at all fun.

Lily turned and headed for the boat climbing in a pushing off to bring the sheep to the other side.

The Way Down - Calintha
You reach out and grab the zip line, standing on the platform as you wiggle your foot back and forth in the sling until you're positive of your footing. Your weapon fits snugly into your belt loop. While there isn't enough weight to really feel it, the lights from the weapons are enough to ensure that they didn't fall out and are still presently at your side.

You spring off the platform and use the momentum to get you started. The zip-line takes off with a soft whisper before it is drowned out by the metallic hum of fans. The wind on your face increases! You can't see where you're going! There is a loud roar, and you feel something smack against you!

Calintha hangs on tightly and maintains her grip, staying on the zip-line as it whips through the unknown!
Ladon lets go immediately as soon as the unknown force makes contact with him, managing to fall completely off the zip-line!

The Other Side - Calintha
The zip-line's end is up ahead -- you tense up and brace for impact. The vertical trampoline you crash into doesn't hurt at all, and infact it's quite fun to simply stay there and bounce against it as the zip-line settles down. Your sword is still in your beltloop, only... there's something missing from the second zip-line that clatters noisily next to you. Something like a person. Specifically the only boy in the group. Where did Ladon go this time?
Look for him.
Continue on.

Where...? - Ladon
You fall from the zip-line in complete shock as something unknown hits you! You fall, and fall... and bounce against something several times. As you lie there and try to piece together exactly what happened, you can see a slit of light up above. Did... you just fall because of a curtain?!
You sit up and realize two things:
1) It's dark.
2) Your axe is no longer in its beltloop.
Look for your axe.
Look for a way out.
Call for help.

That Damn River Logic Puzzle - Liliana
"Baa," remarks the little sheep. It's quite warm and fuzzy, and would make a neat lap pet if not for the fact that its skin was a dark magenta and its fur was a cross between eye-searing cyan and glowstick green. It seemed like a neat pet, and is staring at you as the little boat moves its way across the pond.
Thankfully the boat doesn't need to move with any manpower. As soon as you climbed into the boat with the little sheep, it took off on its own! You can even hear the motor. It was quite nice, actually, being able to sit back and do nothi-
chomp.
You stare as the tiny little sheep takes a tiny little bite out of your foam finger. You then see that one of the not-so tiny little lights light up. Your mouth drops open in shock -- that counted?! THAT COUNTED?! Apparently it does, and the sheep is about to take another bite before the boat stops. You're at the other side!
You get out in a hurry and practically drop the sheep there. As you turn to climb back into the boat, you realize something. The other side is void of something. Something that shouldn't have bothered the plant at all.
"Ba-"
"- bbit."
Slowly, slowly you turn around and look. The frog had followed the little boat to the other side. You can see one of the sheep's legs sticking out of its mouth as the frog sits there, staring at you.
A loud clack nearby causes you to look up. Huh! Would you look at that -- there's a door! You hurry out of the room with its inane logic before the frog decides to take a bite of your foam finger too.

Down the Rabbit Hole - Liliana
You breathe a sigh of relief. The same effects of the last room are continued here with the lighting and care of plants. Perhaps the first rooms or so were placeholders for the care that went into these? Or maybe the attraction ran out of money and had to do with what it had left? Either way, it looks as if you are in another indoor forest.
Go left.
Go straight.
Look for Peyton.

Strap Your Armor On - Peyton
The vest is a bit loose, the elbow-pads are too small, the knee pads are too large, but the bat itself is a reassuring weight in your comfortably protected wrists. It's actually quite nice, and since the mannequin is now naked, you decide to leave your foam bat in its hands so it has something to comfort in its loneliness. You did, after all, just mug it.

Another door opens, and you step through...

Ladon lay there and looked up as he watched the single ray of light flash by like a comet, and he wished he was anywhere but here. It proved him right for listening to some girl and her stupid idea all because she asked him. How many guys fell for that and look where it got them. Hit by some curtain and falling. Boy did he feel like Sirus Black right now, but not as cool.

Now he was stuck in the dark, alone.

In the dark, alone.

In the dark.

Alone.

“I hate this place.” He whimpered, fingers gripping into the soft plush he had bounced on. He had been right that if he fell, he would have been saved, but that didn’t make things better. He hated girls. He hated ziplnes. He hated gravity, and he hated this damn place and this stupid cavern. AGGH!! He wanted out of here!!!

When he finally managed to not feel like his heart was beating out of his chest like some Warner Brothers Cartoon, he started to think, or more importantly, started to get scared out of his freakin mind. While he was on something that was keeping him safe, who knew if he moved and it would just send him falling to somewhere that didn’t have a bouncy landing. Nope. He was going to stay here. That was enough messing around for one day. If this game didn’t give him a freakin car or a million dollars, he was going to start ripping out starseeds left and right. Better yet, he’d take the prize and also the starseeds. These dicks deserved it.

Even while that was a nice, warm thought to think about, he still wasn’t feeling like King Courageous any more than he did before. Staying still, he looked out above and did what first came to mind. He called for help, first testing to see if anyone was there with a little, drawn out, “Hellloooo?” and then “Can someone help me?!” before he listened. It didn’t seem like Calintha was anywhere now, and he could only hope that the end of her zipline went straight into a brick wall. Ziplines! What was she thinking? What was HE thinking?!

The zipline had been scary... but exhilarating and totally worth the ride. She let out a whoop in the darkness, feeling the wind rushing past her. Thankfully, she was able to ride out the zipline and landed softly against a trampoline, bouncing a few times. "Oh! That was fantastic! Ladon- how was your-" The blonde whipped around, looking about in the dark. "Ladon?" She took a step back, towards the direction the zipline had zipped her.

To say Calintha felt bad had been an understatement. It was her fault that the boy had gone on the zipline, even though it was fairly obvious that he was unsure about it. Calintha drew the sword from her belt and used the lights on it to lead into the darkness, looking for Ladon. There was absolutely no way that she would leave him in the chasm, after asking him to come in the first place. The blonde shouted out for him, her voice just a little louder than the noise of the fans blowing unseen in the darkness. "LADON?"

She wandered further into the soft squishy flooring of the chasm. At least the boy had probably had a soft landing? Calintha really hoped he was okay, and still felt terrible. "LADON? ARE YOU THERE?" She tried to keep in line with the ziplines above her, eyes pretty much adjusted to the darkness.

Liliana frowned although he had entered a relatively nice room. An indoor forest, in fact, but she was upset about the ridiculous little sheep that had been eaten by the frog. It had given her foam finger a light, but that was okay, it was only one light right? It was really such an awful fate for the little sheep to befall, but what was done was done and she had to continue on, yes?

Lily looked around the room, really uncertain as to were to go from where she was. She could go left or she could go straight, but really she wanted to know where everyone esle was and what they were doing. Had they finished, were they alone too, or had they found each other. She was so lost in thought the she did not realize she was walking until she nearly tripped over a plant. Stumbling for a bit, she managed to balance herself without falling, sighing lightly.

She looked around once more and realized she gone left and shrugged continuing onward hoping it would take her to the end or at least one of the others.

??? - Peyton
??????
(here until further notice)

Indoor Upper Forest - Liliana
Thankfully this sort of "Forest" wasn't like the real version in that there weren't gigantic roots everywhere. The person who crafted this place was considerate enough to place a majority of the flora and bushes off against the walls, too, leaving a somewhat clear path for you to follow. It didn't even smell like a forest either, unless forests usually had "Linen Rain" scented air fresheners taped to the underside of leaves, nearly hidden away from view but still effective to produce a scent.
The volume on the atmospheric bird chirps and wind-blown leaves suddenly quiets down, as if someone turned the volume knob down a touch lower. Wait! Listen! It sounds as if there's someone else in here too... But where?
Go straight.
Go right..

Looking for Ladon - Calintha
With each step you take, the floor seems to give an extra "bounce" as if you were walking across a trampoline, and yet... it was softer. You hold your sword up and ready as you inch towards the darkness, calling out your companion's name.
“Hellloooo? Can someone help me?!”
Wait! That sounded like him! You hurry forward, following his voice before plunging down, off an unseen ledge!
Continue...

"LADON? ARE YOU THERE?" - Ladon
You can hear someone calling for you! Relief crashes into you as specatularly as you fell off that zip-line. You're saved! Someone is looking for you! But... how will they find you? You realize then that your axe isn't with you, and you can't see it from where you are. Slowly you sit up and begin to look around. Is that a light over there?
Before you can investigate further, a heavy blackness descends upon you, followed by something heavy!
Continue...

OW! Oh, hey, I found you. - Calintha, Ladon
As Calintha fell, her free hand flung itself out in an attempt to grab onto something to steady herself as she fell. Luckily, she did manage to latch onto something -- the curtain. Unfortunately, the curtain came down with her -- right on top of Ladon!
There is a yelp, followed by a scuffle as you both attempt to sort yourselves out. When the both of you manage to untangle yourselves, you realize a couple things:
1) You found each other! Yay!
2) The light from both platforms where the zip-lines are is still too weak to properly light the area.
3) Both of your weapons aren't in sight.
Leave this place and continue on.
Search for your weapons.
Take the curtain with you.

"Ladon! Ladon is that you?" Calintha took an excited step forward, expecting more of the cushy surface of trampoline underneath her feet. Unfortunately for the girl, there was a lack of trampoline. Actually, there was a lack of anything. As she plummeted forward, Calintha gave out a yell blindly grabbing for anything. She found a slippery material in her hands and wrapped around them as much as she could, dropping her sword in the process.

Unfortunately again (lady luck did not smile on Calintha today apparently) the curtain ripped with a loud sound, and the girl plummeted even further. She landed on top of something that was decidedly not a trampoline. Actually, it felt more like a person. "Ladon?" She fought her way out of the curtain, struggling through the slick fabric looking for the boy she'd gone searching for. Once she had found him, she made short work of wrapping her arms around him and giving him the best hug that she could manage while still being half twisted in a sheet.

"I'm so glad I found you- when you weren't at the end of the zipline I was so worried!" After the hug, she removed her arms from the boy and looked around. It was dark, and a little scary to be honest. She looked around a little bit more for the little lights on her sword in order to properly see, but she didn't see anything. It seemed like that had gotten lost in her wild decent as well. Feeling like it may come in handy, Calintha untwisted herself from the curtain and folded it to take with her. "Maybe we should look for our weapons? They have lights on them..."

The girl reached out into the darkness for Ladon's hand. This place was getting to her a little bit, and she didn't want to lose him again.

When he heard Calintha, he nearly screamed back out for her. Wherever she was, he was happy she came back for him. Already taking back all the evil things he thought about her, he added that the girl was a saint in disguise and deserved to be on a stamp. Just as he expected her to show up any time now, he heard a bunch of noise and screaming above, making him wonder if she had been attacked by a cardboard cutout or went through a trap door That was before he felt himself bounce when something fell down. Just as he was lifted up in the air, a heavy fabric fell on him, along with an even heavier girl. A loud “oomph” came out before it was muffled by the heavy curtain. It was a good thing that he landed on the bouncy ground, and while he was being used as a chair, he at least knew he wasn’t alone.

When she got off, he untangled himself from the curtain, groaning a little from his back being sat on before he was quickly hugged. Usually he stiffened when getting hugged, but after what just happened, he really wanted a hug right now. His head went down and he sat there to take it all in. As Calintha went on her own fast talk about wanting to find him, he spoke at the same time about wishing she had been there. “The curtain hit me and threw me off the zipline. I knew that was a dangerous idea. I thought I was going to die. Luckily this place is cushioned. I thought I lost everyone. I’m SO glad you came back.” When their rapid, simultaneous talk came to an end, he finally took the chance to breath. It was still dark, but at least he felt better with someone else around to suffer alongside him. Now able to focus, he started to look for his weapon before he felt a tight squeeze of his hand. In the dark, he thought it was the cold hand of something unholy and yelped, before he apologized. “Sorry. Thought you were something else.” It was a good thing it was dark enough to hide his flushed face, and he went back to looking for his weapon, giving Calintha’s hand a tight squeeze.
