umm. wow. What a sexist question! Everyone here is considering piccolo and flute players to be empty headed flower pots who are only there to play or look good. I, personally, find this really offensive! I'm a flute player and I'm average on both ends of the scale. But that doesn't mean that I don't have a life beyond the band room! Flute players have friends and family, hopes and dreams, and we're most definitely going somewhere in life! Are you?

So don't go around pretending like flutes don't really count as people. We're not just eye candy even if we do tend to be good looking.

Damn i must admit i love this thread! (I have a sad addiction to arguments, not mine, other people) and toco and Jutsu, I love you guys! Personally i think the idea of this question being sexist is stupid. He simply asked if they were there to be really hot. No need to get defensive. There could be a really hot GUY piccolo. They dont all have to be female.

i love getting involved in arguments xD whether or not it is my business. And that was exactly my point surprised it's more sexist to automatically assume that he meant GIRL piccolo players than it is to ask the original question.

I agree with toco, it is sexist, even though im a girl and i played the piccolo before i started flute. And no, i am not hot.
