Yea, but considering that it'll be a year when the DSi's been out, and how Nintendo likes to make everything from the previous gen obsolete a month after the new system's been released, I can see why people would be concerned.
I think, because Nintendo likes their money over their Pokefans now, that they will NOT put the feature, because it'll force people to buy a game from the DPP gen in order to use that feature. Not to mention, one way of thinking is "Most people have bought DPP gen. If they already have this game, they can just trade Pokemon off of that card. If they don't have it, they'll buy it!"

It's because Nintendo is anti-past systems now. =/ I remember how the Revolution was supposed to have all-system connectivity, and instead, it only goes back to GCN. Any other game has to be bought and kept in memory of your system. I don't know if it becomes permanent or not, but I'm guessing that users don't get their monies back.

><; I'm in need of ranting against Nintendo's money-hoarding. I bet you that if this series didn't do so well, they wouldn't have kept making games for it every year.

About a year, yeah, but that still isn't nearly enough time to get a significantly-sized userbase, especially for such a lukewarm and pretty unnecessary system like the DSi. And while I don't care one bit about Nintendo maybe being anti-past system (I'm not enough of a gamer to care), I do know that the DSi userbase is like Earth to the Brick/Lite's Jupiter-sized userbase. So to me, it's just foolish to think they'd be considered, much less get a feature dropped because they couldn't make use of it.

And yeah, that's what I was thinking too, in regards to why they wouldn't have a Pal Park; Whether or not Nintendo want to force people to buy DPPt, there's already a Pal Park in them, do we really need another? Not saying there shouldn't be, but that's what comes to my mind when I ponder about it (granted, if Pal Park isn't included in HG/SS, single-DS owners/users/households are jipped again, but since when has Nintendo/GF cared about that? xD).

And that's when they realized that if they made the Home Console Pokemon game an adventure, it'd sell more, and more people would want to buy it to transfer Pokemon over! =D

If only My Pokémon Ranch worked like Box. Then things would be well!

It doesn't? 8o
What about Revolution? People've been able to store Pokemon since Stadium days, and since that's a stadium-esque game, it should work... Right?

In My Pokémon Ranch, when you deposit Pokémon, only the save file that deposited them can withdraw them. So if I deposited Pokémon with my Diamond, and then restarted it, those Pokémon would be trapped forever on the Ranch, because the savefile they came from is gone.

And PBR doesn't store Pokémon. It just makes a copy of your boxes and team, so they remain on your Diamond/Pearl while you get to play with their doppelgangers.

So there is no Box for the fourth gen, in the sense that it can work like a trade middleman.

Does anyone know if today is a holiday or something in Japan? It's been nearly a full day since Pokémon Sunday was supposed to air, and no one on the internet has any information on it yet. And I'm really certain that the hosts said every Sunday, they'd reveal a little bit more information about the games, too. (At least, that's what several of my sources reported.)

Normally, I wouldn't quite care, since the last few times Pokémon Sunday's just been repeating info we knew for days prior, but this time anything they'd say would be brand new.

Pokémon Sunday lied to us and Pokémon wants you to work out!

I hope this month's CoroCoro reveals tons of information. sad This drought sucks.

Oh wow. The PokéWalker's pretty thin and neat-looking.

And nice angling to avoid any sort of look at the HG/SS screens on the DSi.

Edit: ******** you, too, Filb.

I think it's kind of funny that the PokeWalker came out, with the Personal Trainer:Walker that just came out, which comes with two pedometers. Well I'd use that PokeWalker and take it everywhere (as if I don't already take my DSi with me everywhere anyway xD).

It's certainly out of the blue that they decided to include it, but as long as it's free (like the wireless adapter was for FR/LG) then all's good. It's neat, but not neat enough to be a pre-order bonus.

I'd take it as a pre-order bonus for sure ^^; The other DS pedometers cost fifteen dollars separately from the game if you don't buy them included.

Well, it's being reported that the PW is indeed included within each game, rather than a POB, which pleases me. And it would explain why it's so thin; Easier to fit into the DS cases.

Too true. Gah. I haven't the slightest clue as to how I'm going to stay sane till these games are released, let alone in Japan, and then more waiting for them in the States D;

Gah, I know, right? GSC is my freakin' childhood, and when the confirmation got leaked a few days before the official announcement, call it lame, but I literally cried shed tears of joy.

But given the games' track records, we should have HG/SS in North America by spring of next year, which greatly excites me. I can't wait to be a geek and use the PW at college. :B
