"Damn it!" Ed cursed, confused, frustrated, and angered with the whole situation. "What part of 'run' don't you guys understand!?" They were taking too long. Trying to fight and retreat at the same time. Edward growled and abandoned the wall he'd created, stalking over to Tsunade. "You're the leader here, right? Get your people to safety. You can't fight it," Having never had too much respect for authority in the first place, the alchemist was not above ordering around the apparent leader of anything, though he was still smart enough to keep an eye on the Gate, "And I'm not talking about your abilities, either, I mean it's physically impossible to damage that damn thing! You wanna live? Run. Now."

When Hinata didn't immediately turn tail and run, and after she'd taken the time to try an attack, Alphonse sighed heavily and put himself between Gate and girl. Resigned to do what he could to defend and protect, he glanced back at Hinata briefly, a sad sort of look in his eyes, "We challenged it once...and paid a heavy price," His attention turned back to the danger at hand, "Try asking Ed about his arm and leg sometime..."

Hinata ran back to Al, grabbed his arm, ran over to Shino, grabbed his arm and pulled them both away."We have to go,"Hinata said."We were ordered to leave. Dont do that again." She looked at Al as she said the last part. She was starting to like him.

Hinata stopped running and let go of Shino and Alphones."I was a bit preocupied by the fact that the hands were coming for me,"She said. She looked at Al."What was that thing?" She asked him.

Finally satisfied that they might actually make it out of there alive, Edward looked around for his brother. He sighed lightly when he spotted Al, relieved the younger boy hadn't been snatched away again. He'd been terrified one of his worst nightmares was about to come true in this strange town and Ed simply could not go through the loss of his sibling again. Not without having a major breakdown, at least. The tension lifted further when...Shino, was it?...stepped up near Al, as any help would be appreciated.

Alphonse watched Kiba and Akamaru tried to drag Hinata away, and glanced at Shino "This really isn't the appropriate time for such a long story..." He replied, backing away from the Gate while it seemed distracted. The teen was surprised by a hand on his arm and allowed himself to be pulled along, Hinata's words taking a second to register, he gave a sheepish sort of grin "Acting on instinct, I couldn't just stand by." The grin switched back to a concerned expression in the blink of an eye when the Gate launched another attack. This was not going to be-THUNG...easy?

Edward, having been making an attempt to round up any stray humans and get them out of there, was distracted by the odd, loud, noise...and the fact the Gate halted its attack. Attack from behind? "How the hell were we supposed to get behind it? he huffed, obviously annoyed he hadn't thought of that first...or ever. Those creepy hands were fast, after all, he never expected to actually be able to get around the thing.

Alphonse glanced from the now inactive Gate to the three ninja gathered around him, then nodded to himself as if coming to some kind of internal decision. "The Gate. Brother and I will explain, just round everyone up...I don't wanna have to tell it more times than necessary..."

Tsunade and Sakura walked up to them to listen. Tsunade suddenly stopped. "You too, Kakashi. I know you're there. I am the Hokage after all." She looked at the spot he was hiding in, chuckling from her self proclamed greatness. 'Actually I noticed the eye look in that direction and only figured it was you.'

Tsunade sighed. "I meant to come and listen," she mumbled and joined the rest.

Kakashi walked up to the group and was ready to listen.

Sasuke got a good distance and then sat on the floor and a snake wiggled out of his shirt sleeve and he sent it with a letter to orochimaru saying that sakura was the apprentice.
