Hikari snapped out of her reverie and eyed the girl across from her. It was the blind one that she had stood up for. She walked to the bars of her cell, never moving her gaze. It shocked her but she felt an overwhelming sense of compassion for the girl. Hikari hadn't been conscious for long but she felt an affinity with Kurai.
She must have an unusual connection with her zanpaktou, Hikari thought. It's just like...oh! That one girl in my squad! She's acting just like her. What was her name? Oh yeah, Aiko.
And just where in the world did you make this connection? the Presence wondered, confused.
Because they're both freaking out. That's obvious enough, Hikari explained. And because if I didn't have better control over myself then I might be just like them. No offense, but you kind of provoke a lot of stress.
She swallowed, hoping she was right. All she knew is she wanted to help in any way possible. It wasn't good to feel out of control.
"Hey," she called to Kurai. "Listen to me; It's gonna be alright. We're gonna get out of here. Shinigami are on their way to help us. Just calm down. If you can, talk to me."
That might not be enough to pull her out of whatever struggle she's in, Hikari realized.
"My name is Hikari," she continued, hoping it would help the other shinigami focus. "I'm a member of 11th squad. You might remember me from the sandtable. Who are you?"

"Hikari from 11th Squad, I would suggest you silence yourself." Ezru said calmly "Do you know that there are a few people who you should fear-- Oh wait, I'm sorry 11th Squad doesn't have the brain for that... You're dealing with two people who could take on a captain before they received training from hell, and we could now possibly take on a bit more..." Ezru said allowing his reiatsu to burst forth, it's energy now greater then even an 11th Squad member would be able to stand.
Ezru walked to her cell "Hikari, I would honestly try to hold your tongue. I am going to try and take Kurai from this place... I'm her brother-in-law... I will take care of her. I may be a traitor to shinigami, but I cannot allow harm to come to family except for my mother..." Ezru whispered in her ear so no one else would be able to hear. His voice held emotion, which was real. "Speak a word of this to anyone and I will hunt you down and kill you an inch at a time. Am I understood woman?" Ezru said now, his voice now hard and cold.

"Fine," she hissed back. "But she needs to get back to the Sereitei. I know what this is. And while you can't do anything for her, we will try to help." She glanced at the other cages as indication to her fellow shinigami. "And don't be so quick to put down captains or the 11th squad. I'm starting to build up a list of people I will hunt down. You wouldn't want to get on it."
She looked in the direction of Kurai and swore a whispered vow, "I swear if she doesn't get help, you will pay. Now just roll with me on this one."
She balled her hands into fists and raised her voice.
"Don't you dare insult my squad!" she said for all to hear, hoping no one had noticed the whispered exchange. "Obviously you have a lot to learn if you underestimate Sereitei so quickly. And why the hell is a shinigami walking freely around Las Noches? Don't tell me...you're a rogue, huh?"

"You underestimate what I can do..." Ezru whispered as he looked at her "She is reeling because I gave her some of my energy, which she recognizes. It is making her feel more at home... And her power is not the same as everyone else's I have studied the files my father has on her... But I will play along for now."
"I am the son of the original rogue." Ezru said aloud, his voice booming "My name is Ezru Kimishima, son of Kazi Kimishima." Ezru said coldly as he shot his hand through the bars, grabbing this woman around the neck "I am a nice person, but do not test my patience." Ezru said as he threw the woman against the wall of her cell.

"Ugh, what is it with you bad guys and grabbing me around the neck?" Hikari groaned and stood up. "Seriously, what's all that first rogue nonsense? You can't honestly know that. And being a rogue isn't really all that great. You're basically a coward because you walked out on your friends and responsibilities. Or at least a quitter."
Now she allowed her anger to control her words. It would provide a good cover story. And she didn't care if she got hurt. As long as everyone else got out safely.
"And you ask me to refrain from testing your patience," she continued walking back up to the bars and grabbing them. The intense cold stung her fingers and she could already feel them numbing. "Well you've already tested mine. I'd fight you, if I was a fool. I know better than that. You'd kill me easily. And that's the reasoning of an 11th squad shinigami."
She listened to the malice accenting her voice. Inside her, the Presence stirred, tensing.
If only you knew my name, he shouted. Then we could show him fear, Hijuelo.
Calm down, she urged him. The shouting hurt and she winced. We're not gonna get anywhere if you keep deafening me!
Who cares? Fight, Hijuelo! he continued to shout. Or are you really a weakling like I thought?
Cállate! she shouted back. ¡Yo no tengo tiempo de escuchar sus sandeces!

Sorry for the spanish, guys but I have to incorporate it somewhere and we all love to watch arguments in other languages, right? Oh and sorry for the swearing. Its not against the rules if its in another language, is it?)

"I ask you to not test my patience for this reason." Ezru said as he vanished and appeared in the cell "I don't care about barriers. I will deal with you directly." Ezru said as he moved his hand in a whipping motion, faster then anyone but a true master could see, his hand stopping less then a hair's breadth from her face as the pocket of chilled air rushed over her face freezing the eyebrows completely, and pushing her back against the cell bars behind her.
Ezru then moved quickly punching her in the stomach with a slightly above average speed. "The punch I just did had herbs in it, which are now in your top. Distribute them evenly amongst everyone here later tonight. They are undetectable by any science or test that has been invented by any being... My father developed all the technology that is in use today." Ezru whispered in her ear as she leaned over him "I will have Kurai released soon. I know that the time for everyone else will come soon. You just need to be patient." Ezru paused as he looked at her with contempt "Now sleep vermin." Ezru said as he lightly hit her head with his fist, knocking her out.

Hikari silently swore when Ezru's fist connected with her stomache. It hurt even though she knew he had been fairly gentle.
If I was human and I had stitches from...that time...then that would have burst them, she thought vaguely through the pain. She gasped for breath as he whispered in her ear. Her eyes widened as she listened.
And then she felt a gentle but firm blow to her head and everything went dark. Her body fell limply forward into Ezru.

Ezru sighed as she collapsed "Sleep, and then I will meet you when you are stronger." Ezru placed her on the ground and took of his tattered kosode and lay it on her. He appeared outside of the bars again. "Lemos, I can almost guarantee that she will not be as much of a hassle now. You beat them and then show some compassion. Being overly cruel just makes them hate you more. They will see you as a father figure if you treat them as I just treated that prisoner." Ezru motioned behind him to the still form of Hikari.
"Lemos-han I think we should head down to the Desert... They seem to be multiplying like rodents." Ezru said "Aine, I want you to stay here and prepare a building for you, myself, Asuma, and I would like to request that Kurai come and live with me. She could prove useful to something I want to try." Ezru said to Aine

Stepping away from the wall she was currently propping up, Aine looked over the map Lemo had called her over to in silence. Only turning her scrutiny away when Ezru began speaking to her. "That would be fine...I'm in no condition to be fighting anyway. As for Kurai-san, that would have to be Lemo-san's decision..." Placing her hand on her rounding belly, she walked to Ezru's side, standing on her toes to kiss him briefly. Dropping back down, "Just come back to me. I'll be sure to make us a home here while your gone." Although, she had always been shy and this was not the place to be showing affection, Aine's anxieties had started to disappear over the weeks she'd spent within Hueco Mundo. Then again, mood swings due to hormone changes could be playing a part in her personality shift.

"I'll be fine..." Ezru said as he looked at this beautiful woman who was pregnant with his children kiss him, as he kissed her back "Lemos-han I will give you data on something you might find interisting. It is the information on using the energy from killing a Gillian to set a patch of solid ground defendable from the Soul Train." Ezru said "I will give you this to work with Kurai. I want to see what her reflexes are... Her blindness might impact how she reacts."
"Aine... Do you honestly think that they will be expecting what I gained during our time in that hellish desert?" Ezru smiled as he kissed her again. "You keep the twins happy... There should be some interisting results... For everyone in this..." Ezru said kissing her again. "Asuma? Shall we leave?"
Ezru noticed a sudden spike on the monitor. "There are more. I need to save an Arrancar and detour the attack. I must leave. Here is the disk with the information." Ezru said throwing a disk at Lemos as he clicked his watch, sending him to save the unfortunate and stupid Arrancar assassin.

Turning as Erzu spoke to him, Asuma's expression-if he had one-was hidden under his mask, which he head put on moments after Erzu started talking. As he disappeared, Asuma walked over to the screen where Lemo had pointed out the intruders. Turning to leave as Erzu disappeared, Asuma stopped, right next to Aine. Not turning to her, he just stood there for a second. "I won't...let anything happen...so don't worry...we can take care...of ourselves. That much...that is certain." Finishing his sentence, Asuma disappeared, a small amount of wind creating a breeze in the room as he left.

"Here, dammit. The location they are at.." Lemo pointed at his mega-display of flatscreens on the main wall. "Now stop bothering my prisoners, they seem to be getting all worked up for some reason..."
Lemo began walking over to them, he stopped at Kurai's cage, running a full diagnostics-scan on her. He then stopped, and waved the shinigami, basically telling them to exit now through his door.

Layla was now figuring that there was something wrong with the blind girl. She seemed very powerful, and like she has alot of control due ot being able to earn such a high seat. But for the moment, she seemed to be sort of...detatched.
"Hey, why don't you do something, huh!? Clearly she has something wrong with being in a cage, help her out man, wtf?" Layla shouted.
[for the record, she didn't actually yell out the words "w t f" im just being censorship-friendly]

Eme did noting but listen, her eyes shut as if to pretend she was only dreaming about this whole ordeal. She paced her breathing, not wanting to have a mild freakout as her cellmate continued to have. She could her warm breath touch her hands, shivering almost.
She slumped down to the icy floor, not feeling it as much as she would thanks to her suit.
"Theres so many people here, even Asuma-sensei..." She whispered to herself. Though she couldn't really see him, she recognized his voice. She was trying to keep her cool, but her heart pounded heavily, this was too much for a young girl like herself to handle. Her fear of the situation keeping her powers on low-key, she couldn't even spark her reiatsu in control.
