Meguru Ah! You are still not done with Xenogears? I didn't beat it for the longest time since that darn Opiomorph kept beating me. The last boss isn't hard. Just remember to equip some good defense item, Z Charger, and something to boost your performance. Speed rings help a lot too ^^;; 0.o You sure know your stuff, don'cha?

PErsonally, I just killed all four of the boss' components, which weaken the final boss itself immensely. Make sure NOT to use the peeps who you plan to use for the boss himself, though. (Personallly, I used Fei, Citan, and Maria.)
Personally, for RPGs, I think that the plot defines the game. Baldur's Gate was awesome because of a nice, solid, conspiratorial plot which, better than any Forgotten Realms game before or since, got the idea of a true threat to the world across, and made your stopping it feel important. (The simple but awesome gameplay schemes helped a lot, too.)
This is why I love the Xenosaga series and don't really like the Wild Arms series (Though I haven't played much of 2 and 3...) where the plot's interest level tends to be low...
That said, for most other genres, the gameplay is the key. Katamari Damacy doesn't need a plot more than "Your dad broke all the stars in a drunken bender, now you need to replace them. Go grab stuff!".

(Personallly, I used Fei, Citan, and Maria.) I'm forever using Fei, Citan and either Bart or Elly as my main team. I don't know why, I just prefer that set of characters. Rico's crap, Billy's pretty cool but expensive, Maria has no decent deathblows, ChuChu is just... well... Chuchu. I'll keep the tips in mind, though, thanks folks! NekoIncChan This is why I love the Xenosaga series and don't really like the Wild Arms series (Though I haven't played much of 2 and 3...) where the plot's interest level tends to be low... Haven't played Xenosaga, but if it's anything as good as Xenogears, i'm going to be a fan real soon. Wild Arms 1 was a game I disliked, but 2 was pretty fun. Haven't played 3, but it looks okay, if the plot's a little shite. Wild Arms has some incredible music, though -- I love the opening theme to WA1.

I've never been really able to get into RPGs myself for two main reasons. Most (because there are always exceptions) utilize turn-based-combat systems, which in my opinion is just illogical, as well as a great number utilize spending hours and hours and hours UPON hours of getting into small fights to simply level up (FF series stressed ). Certain RPGs also create such a vastly huge world that it is very easy to get lost and spend a great deal of tiem just trying to figure out what you are trying to do.
The few exceptions that I have found to my apathy towards RPGs are "Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind" (although it does have an absolutely huge world it has direction and although you do have to get into small fights to increase stats, it does not use turn-based combat...plus you can grab/steal just about anything, which I find funny and cool), and "Kingdom Hearts" (like FF once again sans turn-based combat and TONS of pointless leveling up; also I found the gameplay to be more engaging than that of the FF series).

They're pretty interesting. Also, I have heard that they're coming out with a Twinkle Star Sprites Game for the PS2. It's going to be really interesting... http://www.siliconera.com/ps2/twinklestarsprites/050901.htm

Lord Vyce Snyder X melee is great. i try to use everyone for equal times. i rock with red&blue Link, suck with Green. hm... Strange, seeing as they're the same thing...It could be a mental thing? I mean,in SC2, I rock with the full on armored Mitsurugi, but tend to suck with the less... rugged versions, let's say. That's simply due to the fact that it threw me off to use the costumes I wasn't familiar with. Felt like a different character, you know? Using the fully armored Mitsu, I got to the Lawton, Okla Soul Calibur2 tourny quarter finals, then fought Mondo (grrr...Olkahoma City...) and got pasted. Secondly, on my list of warriors would have to be...hmm... Asteroth, then Nightmare, then maybe Mina... oh yeah, rockin' it with a glaive, baby...

I'm love DDR. I only have the regular pad for my ps2, but I'm always stealing the metal one from my friend, corey, so it's all good.
My dad bought me the Street Fighter anniversary collection last month heart I like some of the new games out there, but I prefer older ones. I remember when we had NES, SNES, and Sega as my siblings and I were growing up. Such a happy, electronic childhood I had...
I'lll never get tired of playing pac-man and space invaders on the arcade machines ( I used to be in the top five list on neave.com for space invaders, until a bunch of japanese guys bumped me off the list. It took me 6 1/2 hours to get on there!!! crying )
