I didn't bother quoting everything because I'm going to respond to pretty much everything.
Yeah, Taco isn't at all ambitious. He has no initiative and very little spine. I've only ever seen him angry once but, because it was so new to me, I found it more fascinating than anything else. If I ever wanted to write a horribly depressing story about never getting what you want . . . the MC would be based off of Taco. That said he is a charming, kind-hearted individual and I adore him as a human being.
I don't worry much about relationships. I've only dated one guy and, well, that was one whole big mess. It wasn't bad--it was fun and it was a good experience because it gave me a better understanding of a lot of things--but he was just projecting this dream-girl image onto me, which makes the whole relationship fake. And I was always more interested in someone else--from the day we met all the way through. And he's always the last person to understand anything which makes us a poor match because I'm quick and I don't tolerate slowness well. I, too, have very high standards for my romantic relationships. Also didn't help that I wasn't even attracted to him. I still really like hanging out with all of his friends, though. More than him, actually.
But I don't worry about it because, like M, I know that if all I wanted was a little relationship, even action, it wouldn't take much; I'd just have to set my self-respect aside. As I'm not willing to do that and I don't want that anyway, I have no problem living my life in the now. As for eventually finding someone . . . all I want is someone to love me when I'm old and crotchety--because I will be very crotchety. I'd be fine marrying a friend late in life. I'll get there, though. I'm only 17, it's ridiculous for me to worry now. I just think about how much I've changed in the past 4 years alone and realize that I have more than enough time to worry about the rest of my life.
Now that was long.

A bit of a late introduction this is. -nodnod-
On here, I go by whatever you wanna call me. Most people use some form of Spiral (Spy, Spido, SpiSpi, etc.)
I come from the Eastern United States. I don't particularly like living in a place that people think is absolutely horrible, but meh, whatever (if you wanna know what state, PM me and ask. =.= wink
My hobbies would be reading, writing, video games, anime and manga, eating, sleeping, role playing, music...ing...,a bit of drawing here and there, and I adore History. I hope someday to be either a paleontologist or an archaeologist. If not just a history teacher. ^^;
My age...you decide? Haha. It's fun to see how old people think I am.

Hi all, my real name's David. I hail from Oregon, but I've spent time all over the US. My hobbies are reading, working on cars/trucks, driving, and working on computers. I've worked for Adobe, on Photoshop; I've been a computer tech and MCMAP instructor for the US Marines; I'm now on the prowl for a college education and pursuing a dream of living off of my writing. I'm 24, having celebrated a birthday in May. Kind of an old fart here on Gaia. ^.^

@Spiral: I'm guessing New Jersey is the state you live in! (we get a lot of hate here!)
David, if you're an old fart, that means I am too, and I'll never admit to such!
Alex, where do you live in California? I was born in Santa Maria and have lived in LA, Irvine, and San Francisco as well! XD
