I'll be seventeen on the 20th of June. I write most of the time. And I'm also interested in fashion design.
Because it's so masculine.

My father doesn't believe you'll make it in the world, unless you go to a Tech college and have no life whatsoever and get a job in engineering, or pipe-fitting or something that I'm HORRIBLE at doing.
So, I'm actually trying to prove him wrong by PUSHING towards what I love and am passionate about.

YES! I found the introduction topic.. 3 days after looking for it!
Anyway, I'm based in Australia, though English isn't my first language. Writing has not always been a hobby of mine, it's only been lately that I've shown any interest in it. Round about the time when my rp group decided they're too old for this sort of thing and I realised that the characters I had had a great story line which would look good in print. (print vs hand writing!)
The name Nefas Fatum is Latin and means (hopefully) sinfully wrong fate. Part of this reflects my believe that I'm the last person to be considered a writer, part of it is that it's just a really cool sounding name and the alias of one of my characters. Specifically, my avatar.
And my current challenge? Turning 5 yrs worth of rp history (and then some) into a readable book-type thingy.

Uhm. I'm Lauren. And I'm an alcoholic.

I kid, I kid.
I'm from Australia and I come from a highly supportive family of which I love dearly. I know that its not the most common thing, so I'm grateful to have them <3 I've been writing since I was small and have always wanted to be an author, a historian, or librarian. Or something book related.
I play basketball, score basketball, train for basketball and referee basketball. Sports are cool, lest they involve gym shorts and superficial blondes, so I just hate the school version.
I've just very taken up violin (earlier today, actually, O__O) and so far I have:
Snapped a string.
Hit my dog with the bow.
Had the music book trampled by said dog.
Dropped the violin.
And successfully performed "Old MacDonald had a farm"
With many squeaks and screeches.
I'm also notoriously stalked by bad luck when it comes to instruments.
