Well I am 30 and live in minnesota. Right now I am into leather working and gardening.

Hi everyone! My name is Desireé, but you can call me Des or Missy or Mystic or whatever you like as long as I know who you're referring to whee I'm 17, I'm a girl (but with quite a few masculine tendencies ninja ), and I live in Texas. I'm an ecoholic whee And I love emoticons, they put character into flat words.


I like to sing and play some instruments (but that doesn't mean I'm good xd ), I love to dance, especially belly dancing and swing dancing, I like music from every genre but mostly I like new-age, indie, alternative, rock, and things of that persuasion. I don't usually watch television, but shows that I will sit down for every now and then include: Family Guy, American Dad, Scrubs, and Charmed.

Meditation is my favorite pasttime, closely followed by Nature Walks and arts and crafts. I work mostly with textiles lately, just because I have so many ideas in that department. I'm also currently working on making a dream catcher, so I'll mention more about that somewhere when I'm finished with it. I love making things, painting, drawing, altering clothes, sculpting, reading, and sometimes writing. Gardening is also a favorite hobby of mine, but most of my plants aren't fruit-yielding, I just love them ^^

As my religion goes, I define it as mysticism but it can be related to Paganism, Druidism, Wicca, Celtic, and Native American spirituality. I've been on my journey toward the divine for a little over six years now whee I'm open to all religions and believe no one should judge negatively against another's religion because they all have the same or a similar basis of beliefs.


I have an undying obsession with scarves and flowers eek It's rare to see me without a flower in my hair or a scarf tied somewhere to me, or both!

I love happiness ^^ My goal is to make at least one person smile every day, and my perfect dream would be to make everyone that I ever made eye-contact with smile at least once heart I have no enemies, but that's not to say that everyone likes me stressed However, I'll give anyone a chance 3nodding

Hmm.. Let's see... I have a hippie van! Well, a soon-to-be hippie van, as soon as I finish painting it.. It has two (normal) seats, an armchair, two bean bags, and a hella lot of pillows xd With red carpet that I salvaged from our Chamber of Commerce's dumpster mrgreen It has become affectionately known as The Tank, because before I got it it was in quite a few wrecks.. Including being hit by an 18-wheeler eek It survived, but it tore the front of the truck off stressed Since then the walls/shell has been re-done and reinforced so it won't crush if it ends up rolling xd

Random fact: I've been on Gaia since March 2004, and have had five differnt usernames. As follows:
Dezzmasta, Silent Bloody Tears, Butterfly Immortal, The Sugar Pixie, and finally Artistic Mystic.

No I'm kidding xd I have one cat named Sammi, and then a few moocher neighborhood cats that I feed.
I live in Southern California, about an hour away from Los Angeles. I dislike the city and would one day LOVE to move to a different country and live by a beach.
My dream is to travel the world and become a photographer like my dad, and his dad.
I want to be more ecofriendly to keep the world beautiful. I admit to being very wasteful...
Anyways, I have a petition on Gaia to promote going Green it's in my signature! heart
