I know what I forgot! We were running to our LHS at the end of our show and I got hit by a bass drum, a trombone, a flag (twice), a trumpet and a clarinet.
The other day we were marching backward and one of my friends fell in a hole and so another girl fell over her and another over her and then I fell on her. I twisted my knee really bad but I was all concerned about my flute. I was like "Oh my God! Is my flute okay?!" Then I had to twist it further cuz I had to flip over to keep our sectionleader from stepping on it...now I'm at home with a ******** up knee and a pissed off band director telling me to watch it next time...I told her that I didn't have eyes in the back of my head and she hung up. It was great!!!

Merriara I'm kinda small and short, so when a tuba is dropped on you, IT HURTS LIKE H*L*ditto- I dropped my case ( sousa and all) on my foot when I was loading it on a trailer and I got this bruise on the top of my foot- i had a hard time marching the next day. dramallama

Oh, millions of times! Whether it be my horn, trumpet, guitar, trombone, violin.... I just end up hurting people (even with the stands and packets of sheet music sweatdrop ) I also got hit by an oncoming flute two days ago... Still painful...

I'm in Australia, so we don't have marching bands, meaning not quite so many dangers and possibilities to get hurt. But I do often almost knock people out with the end of my bassoon when I'm not paying attention to what I'm doing and turn around quickly while holding it biggrin

This was an almost-injury that I just remembered. There was this kid bugging me in the hallways at school. I had my horn case (horn inside) with me. Do the math, haha.
I nearly took the kid's head off. He didn't bug me anymore, needless to say. twisted

I don't really get how I did it, but I cut my hand open on my trombone. I was messing with it and I dropped the bell part(with the outer slide on the ground) and it cut me. Had to wrap it up, it was pretty funny.

Well, not exactly from the instrument but. I have bruises all over my hips from the Saxophone room door knob. The rooms so small when you try to get out you always get slammed into the god damned thing.
My Bari cut my wrist open.. My friend let her bass clarinet swing on it's beckstrap and it nailed me in the collar bone. It started bleeding. o.o;; Going to the office: "I need a ice pack and a band-aid. My friend got me with her instrument." Yeah. Office people and don't get that.

Yesh, a topic I can fully relate to!
Once, during practice, I accidentally whacked someone in the side of their head while bringing my flute up to my mouth. We both got yelled at by the dude teacher teaching us.
Now if it's injuring my instrument, while putting my flute away, I forgot to put the latches down, so when I leaned over to my right to pick my binder off the floor, the case flew opena dn my flute got scattered on the floor! Worse yet, now my flute has a "dimple" right next to the mouthpiece! Aaugh! gonk
