I'm only seventeen, so what's your point? -Mimi asked, a catty little grin spreading across her lips. Oooh, Mimi had developed a bit of a naughty side over the past year, hadn't she? - I mean, so long as you don't go overboard and get plastered everday, I don't think it should be much of a problem. -And it wasn't like it had been her idea to start drinking anyhow. Her family was just twisted like that. They didn't accept goodie-two-shoes. Anything that seemed wrong and unnceptable in the Gaian society was most likely accepted within the Bagheera way of life.
Well, at least in her pride.- What I did? -Mimi paused her verbal action for a moment as she pushed the glass of vodka and sprite over to Cherry. It wasn't that heavily loaded, she knew that. As much as her family would have *loved* to have a rebellious Panther as their daughter, Mimi was still a Snow Leopard at heart. She did things in moderation unless it was absolutely necessary to throw caution into the wind.
Like in the battlefield. As much as Mimi hated violence and death when it came right down to it, she didn't want to die. As a result, the girl now had her own share of bloodstains upon her hands and if asked, she'd play it off like she didn't care. Of course it bothered her, but what was she going to do about it now? - Lets just say Family reunions aren't what they're cracked up to be-- and if you see a tall, black haired man with the same eyes as mine, tell me. I'll handle him myself.
-Now they weren't just big words of valour that made her say that. Before she left the pride a second time she had proven her words true and held her own against Daisuke, knowing it was the only way out.... despite the fact that it would most likely feed his desire for having her at his side.- But enough of me, how is everyone else?

"Seventeen?!" Cerise stared at Mimi in surprise. "Oh, sorry. I guess I always kind of assumed you were older... Not that you look old! I mean, I just think that all the time. I think it's 'cause I'm sort of immature or something. I always just assume that everyone is my elder." She smiled sheepishly, a little embarrassed at the words. "Well, I guess that means you're only about a year and a half older than me, huh?"
She tilted her head sideways to stare quizically at Mimi. It seemed odd. Mimi truly did appear older...or rather Cerise appeared younger. Physically, Cerise may have looked older than she was, yes, but there was a certain aura of childishness that always surrounded her. It was almost as though she had a bubble of concealed laughter floating about her--a youthful, friendly warmth.
"That's really cool! Oh, oh! Did I ever tell you? You're going to think this is weird, but my birthday is Halloween!" Her thoughtfulness was immediately replaced by joviality. She clapped her hands in delight, smiling at the words. "I turned fifteen around the time that everyone started leaving last year. And I just turned sixteen really recently! Yup, yup!"
When she finished speaking, Cerise's eyes fell to the drink before her. She took a sip without even thinking about it. Act first, think later: that was her motto. "Hey, it kind of bubbles! Teehee!"
As she sipped at the alcoholic concoction, she thought of a reply to Mimi's question. It wasn't as though the other two tenants had been open about anything. "The others...? Oh, well, just Eliza and Guess--oh, wait, Neit?--him," she gestured vaguely toward the man's direction. ". . .are here. Eliza seems to be doing ok. Oh! She has the coolest cow slippers! You just have to see them!" This sentence was accompanied immediately by a blast of giggles. Whether the reaction was due to the liquor or simply to cheerfulness remained a mystery.
{I thought it'd be funny to make Halloween her birthday. I mean, Halloween is supposed to be so scary and all about death, and Cerise is the opposite. But Halloween has candy, too! ^.^}

"Oooh, my ears are burning red, who's talking about me?" Came the teasing voice fromt he doorway. Eliza had changed. Those bright purple curls had been pulled up and twisted in twin buns, leaving only a few stray waves to frame her face. She wore a black tank toop a size too small and a pair of cargo pants a tad too big while her feet remained bare except for a pair of white and green knitted slippers complete with a little strap over the foot. "Speaking of which, may I please have some brandy? Its one of those brandy by the fireplace nights."
She then calmly made her way over to the small group, only to take the liberty of placing an arm about Guess' shoulders and use him as a shelf or something. My, my, wasn't she quite the easy-going type. Eliza smiled brightly despite it all, her emerald eyes intent on Mimi. "Eliza Sommers, by the way.. I'm sure I never caught your name." And so she released Guess to extend a hand over in the nekojin's direction.
-Mimi had been about to speak when the bright-haired girl walked through the door. Never had she been so blatantly stared at-- then again, Bagheera were used to hanging around their own. A soft blush caressed her cheeks as she placed a crystal goblet full of brandy on the counter and then reached to Eliza's hand.- Kyaroru Kusanagi, but for the sake of everybody's tongues I go by Mimi.

The strange man was also going to talk, but Eliza interrupted him. He did not mind being used as some sort of shelf, her weight was nothing, even in his relaxed pose he was still three times stronger than an average man. he smiled as they shook hands, wondering how long he was going to be the only male here.
God I hope they can all behave themselves The mysterious being thought in his puzzle of a mind. he always did treat anyone as if they were an animal, but that's what you develloppe after living for as long as he has. Of course, wisdom said you shouldn't treat others like if they were lower than you, and he sort of found a loophole, only thinking it, and never showing it.

"I'm sorry, did I interrupt something?" Eliza asked, releasing Mimi's hand only to pick up the brandy, eyes falling on Guess. "I didn't mean to..." As she spoke, she pulled up a chair and flopped down into it, idly shifting the goblet in her hand before taking a sip.
"You're rather quiet, Guess, tell us more about yourself-- if you don't mind that is. "

The mysterious being put his elbow on a nearby table, shifting his upper eight on it and making his cheek sit on his palm. He smirked and crossed his legs, looking a little more mysterious. "It depends, some things I do mind saying, and some others I don't, so you ask and I'll answer" The strange male stated with a rather lazy voice.

"Why are you here then, if you don't mind my asking." The girl asked, casually throwing her limbs over the arms of the chair as she dangled the tumbler over her knees. "
Oh, she loved mysterious men. They were so... alluring, with just the right hint of danger. Besides, the man wasn't horrible looking, he just had... social issues. Of course, that only made him that much more intriguing. Ah, Eliza and her fatal attractions.

"Hmmm" he let out, his grey spheres looking above him. "It was just awhile I wasen't here, and I felt that I might have some fun if I came back. I mean, last time I came, I felt I came late, I didn't know anyone, and nothing was happening that was too exciting" He said with yet again a lazy voice.
he had not told her all the truth, but he was good at lieing, even for a psychic, his mutiple minds made it difficult for them to figure it out. The fact of saying that he had to somehow please the ones inside him made him feel a little uncomfortable. These people seemed a little secret themselves. That, or it was just some paranoia kicking in.

"I know exactly what you mean. People were busy with their routines and whatnot. I don't know... the only people I managed to socialize with was Midi and Cerise." Oh, that Midi.. that delicious, cute little piece of girl.Just the right size, gorgeous ears... and bashful. Absolutely adorible. A part of Eliza had been looking forward to find Midi around. Perhaps.. just perhaps.. they might've hit it off this time.
It wasn't that Cerisce was ugly or anything-- she just wasn't Eliza's type. Mimi was well... something was somewhat off about her and Guess. Hmm, he was too difficult to figure out at times. Oh, but a girl could fatasize, no? " It definately is an intriguing place." And so said, she sipped some more brandy.

He uncrossed his legs and leaned forward, his snow white hair hiding his eyes, and his hands cupped together under his head. He let out a sigh before continuing the discussion. "That's very true, and I remember some of them being a little hostile."
He then glanced up at Mimi for a little while, remembering that she was crying soon after he , and the girl looking for her brother, came in. This led him to some deep thoughts, only starting to see some sort of connection now. he does admit to himself that his mind has grown quite alot since last year, as it does every year, but this little memory made him feel stupid for a split second.
"It was too bad everyone left after I woke up, I never got to meet many of the ones who used to reside in here, I don't even know who this "Midi" is" The strange man said, finishing his sentence while turning his eyes back to Eliza.

"Midi... sexy little bat girl about yea tall, " She said quietly, lifting her free hand to detail a short stature. "I think I over heard Mimi call her Midori once... did you not?" Asked the human girl, shifting her gaze over to the neko.
-Mimi blinked, looking up at the two chattering people with a half dazed expression.- Oh, yeah, Midori.. I wonder where he.. she.. it.. is. -With that said she forced a smile on her face before downing the concotion in her glass. - Speaking of people... Has anybody gone out to the cemetary to check if Midori's in the house?

The man leaned back n his chair, closing his eyes and looking a bit lazy. "I would, but I don't know where he lives exacly" He said with a cold voice. When the lycanthrope didn't know what gender to call that bat being, he knew that person must have been under some sort of spell.
Guess opened his eyes vividly, a hue of purple in his eyes, and a large playful smirk on his face. "Maybe we could all go see together, since, I know the cemetary isn't to safe, and only you know the way" he said with a mischevious tone.
Ah, the lust for adventure, that was the main reason his forms were all grumpy inside of him. They all wanted to live their old days wich were now forgotten in an ancient past. Now was a good time to have a small little journey, that might make some things arise.

Then what are we waiting for? -Mimi asked, stepping out from behind the counter. The neko of old would have cowered at the idea but, well.. it was Midori after all and she missed her friend dearly. She just hoped the bat boy-girl was there, even though her gut said otherwise.
The place just didn't feel the same for some odd reason.
Without another word she crossed the bar room, tail swishing behind her as if waving the small posee over. - Its been a while since I've been out there, y'know..
Eliza, on the other hand, shrugged, stood up and cracked her knuckles. Adventure, she was craving for it. "hold up.. "

The strange being was rather happy about this, he stoud up right away and held a firm pose. Now this, will be fun he thought in that puzzle of a mind he has. With a playful smirk, he walked pver to where Mimi went, his steps were rather confident and stern.
A plan in his mind was already set in motion, if they did not meet some unhappy spirit on the way there, he would make sure they got some adventure before heading back to the hotel.

-The girl paused on the front steps, nose in the air, eyes closed and ears flicking to and fro. Instantly did her face twist into one of disgust--it smelled like dog out there. It was as if they were being stalked, almost, by a pack of werewolves. Mimi didn't say anything though, and simply turned her face in the cemetary's direction, those large violet eyes dilating a little.- Has the place always been this crowded?
-To the naked eye, not a soul was present but to a person capable of seeing such things, the place was simply crawling with demons, ghosts, and other creepy crawly things.- I don't remember it being this bad..
-As she spoke, she headed off to the left, an air of nonchallance about her.-
