in my little no where town in AZ, Bullhead City, i think has only one haunted place. my friends and i didn't know this til we happened upon it. one night we drove up the hill behind the local Sonic and sat at the top. there used to be a house there, but now all that's left is a slab of cement. sitting up there, and turning off the car, things just came flying at us from all over, rocking the car... my friends started screaming, and i began to panic... everyone was yelling at me to drive forward(farther on to the cement slab) and make a U-turn to leave the hill, but another voice told me to drive down in reverse(and not to go farther on to the cement slab)... i listened to that voice...

two days later one of my friends who had been in the car with me said, you were right to go down in reverse... he had just gone up there today while he practiced driving with his dad and saw there were nails sticking out of the cement slab all over except for the one area where i had driven into and stop...

weird... huh... that hill is called(or at least we called it) Miracle Mile Hill...

There are a number of haunted place in the area where I live. One place is a bridge where someone jumped off. Another is a cemetery mausoleum. There is this one house that keeps going on the market. One of the former owners said that when they came home one day they found a bunch of dead crows on the kitchen table.

Well i live in Clovis, Ca. We have a hospital, it was even on ghost hunters. It was pretty cool. It was used as a haunted house for years, but then people kept getting injured. So they had to close it down, it still remains, but now they give tours, and it was proven to be haunted. I really want to go in there myself :/

There are a couple places around where I live that have paranormal activity. One is Wright Patterson Air Force Base and the Air Force Museum near Dayton Ohio. An The Old Brick Tavern in Yellowsprings Ohio.

My town has a pretty good bit of paranormal activity condensed into it, for being a mile square - so much that there's even a book on it. As of late they've even started doing tours of the haunted areas...

Granted, I've lived here for 20 years and can safely say that some of the reports are...for lack of a better term, bull. I'm pretty sensitive to such things, and in many of these places, I feel nothing. Haven't gotten to go to all of the places they claim are haunted (some of them are the big tourist attractions you have to pay an arm and a leg just to visit), so I can't vouch for all of them, but...some are real, some aren't. Don't take the book too seriously.

However...we do have some rather odd places to be haunted.

A good example would be the grocery store where I used to work - we really do have something that occasionally throws a product off the shelf (while working there once, I saw a loaf of bread EJECTED from the shelf - with no one around on either side of the shelf and nothing behind it pushing with near enough force to cause that), breaks a bottle (I had a bottle spontaneously shatter while it was in my hand...now THAT was frightening, but...I have to say, very exciting), or makes other such mischief. Usually this is accompanied by a massive temperature drop in the area; for all that I was there to experience I got so cold I could see my own breath.

It was the one thing I liked about that job, going in every day and feeling that presence.

We also have the auto repair shop. That one...if memory serves, was built on what nobody realized was an old Native American burial site. Nothing really happens like in your campfire stories, but...things certainly do get odd there.

So yes...my town is home to the haunted grocery store and car repair shop.

I live in a suburban area near San Antonio.
There's a place around here that legend says a bus full of children stalled on a train track and was hit by the train. Supposedly, if you stop on the tracks and turn off your car, the childrens' spirits will push your car off the tracks to prevent you from getting hit.
My friends have done it once (i've never been unfortunately), and one put powder on the back and front bumper of the car and when he got home there were hand prints on the back.

There are a bunch of tiny cemeteries around here with german people and soldiers in them. Some are said to have ghost sitings. I've been trying to get my friends together to go to one at night to do a makeshift investigation. We might do it this winter, but knowing some people who said they would, they might bail out so I'm not sure.

Our area is pretty interesting. ;D

In a little memorial building in about the early 1940's there was this guy he worked there for a nightshift he was trying to finish early to come home in time for Christmas..... The last time they saw him was Christmas morning in the building dead on the ground but their were no clues to who did it except this glowing hand on the window that u can see for miles and it still here today because it wouldn't wash off.

In my neighborhood about 11 years ago before my sister was born. A mom,dad and a 7 year old boy were making dinner. They were about to start eating when their house was broken into. The people that broke in it shot them with these arrows that only made them faint they got them and hid them in a blue shed next to the house. 4 weeks later the mom and dad died so the little boy decided to escape he broke the window and crawled out he ran away but the people that broke into their house saw him and chased after him he had to chew through wire but he escaped losing both his legs. Now those people still live their, theres a blue shed next to the house with a broken window and theirs wire all around the house and one spot thats broken and the guy that escaped lives in the valley in this same neighborhood. I know this because this man told me he saw everything. He called the police but they came to investigate but it seemed like nothing happened.

There are a few places, actually.

The first one is by the townhomes where I used to live. Theres a cauldisac at the end of one of the road branches with like a fifth of a mile of woods and then you approach a rock wall. Me and my friends climbed that wall to see what looks like an abandoned house. Seriously, the windows were cracked and everything. What makes it haunted was that we could of sworn we saw a sillouette in one of the cracked windows. It was freaky.

Another place was by where we used to go to shurch. Theres a house at the end of the dead end of a road where you turn to enter the parking lot of the church. There is a white house that also looks abandoned. You enter the backyard when you walk in from the dead end. At the other end, there is a shack. We walked over to it and entered it and it was just an empty rundown shack supplied with your everyday yard work tools. But when we moved the lawn mower, again, we could of sworn we saw a sillouette shoot out of it. My sisters ran screaming, and I almost did the same except I looked gain and saw it was just a squirrel. ROFL It was haunted for only a moment, but it is still worth mentioning.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently in ely nevada some of them sound corny but we are a small town but alot of sightings haha but still some are reallly corny like the one about a bathead lady haha.

The ghost of a lady with half her head not there has allegedly been seen on numerous occasions relaxing on a sofa in a house close to Ely.

A lady having a spear in her head may repeatedly be perceived going crazy up on Heusser Mountain. Regardless of what people verbalize, this is an intimidating ghost that you shouldn't go looking for.

The ghost of a young Indian fighter can be perceived repeatedly in Hercules Gap around midnight heaving bricks. Locals allege that this ghost is
almost certainly the undead ghost of a local resident who used to have a house here in Ely. One thing's for sure, it's a menacing ghost that should be avoided.

The ghost of a muscular lumberjack carrying a large axe is now and then noticed very late at night going to see The Cove.

A frightening skeleton is rumored to have been perceived
on one or two instances pulling a corpse from the ice cold water of Murry Creek late in the night. A resident alleges that this spirit is the struggling spirit of a long forgotten Ely resident.

A glowing human form can now and then be spotted trying to find a glove by Steptoe Slough. In any case, it indisputably is a terrifying ghost that is better not interrupted.

The spirit of a young-looking guy in a jacket was seen next to Bennett Spring in the early morning hours before sunrise glugging down milk. This individual ghost has been perceived very frequently in this spot. Regardless of what, this ghost unquestionably is terrifying; one that you wouldn't wish to meet after midnight.

A headless man showed up smoking a cigar at Basset Lake Dam before dawn. There are numerous accounts concerning this ghost in the vicinity. One thing is for certain, this is an unfriendly ghost that any normal person wouldn't wish to encounter.

The ghost of a surgeon with a blood-covered uniform was seen on a dark night pursuing a passing Jeep
on a shadowy highway near Ely. Several folks in close proximity have had comparable sightings involving a very similar spirit.

A woman with her head and both arms amputated materialized in the backseat of a car by the driver observing the ghost in his rear view mirror before dawn. This is one of those ghosts that is made out very often close by.

The spirit of a man gripping a blood-splattered spear was seen gardening in the back yard of a flat in Ely. The ghost didn't mind that there was someone else near.

A military uniform marching around devoid of a body in it was seen howling in Cave Lake State Park right by the ranger station. When the bystander showed up the ghost fled. One of the local residents strongly argues that this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while passing through Ely many years ago.

The spirit of a severely scorched lady has regularly been witnessed outside Great Basin National Park staring. Anyway, it's a frightening ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.

The ghost of a gentleman having a name carved into his back is often observed by a woman canoeing in a river in the neighborhood of Ely

A woman's body with a bat's head has often been distinguished browsing through a fridge in the kitchen of a Mc Gill apartment around midnight. It has been said that this exact spirit takes pleasure in terrifying unwise people who are bold enough to disturb the peace in Mc Gill.

A man with the head of a demon is often noticed studying Axehandle Pass in detail before sunrise.

A moderately rotten human body may regularly be perceived sipping water from Axehandle Spring on a dark night. If you talk to the local residents, this ghost can
be the spirit of a local person who passed on here in Mc Gill a long time ago.

The spirit of a grower sporting a hat can be perceived often consuming a sandwich up on the peak of Duck Creek Range.

A young-looking girl sporting a bloody prom dress has every so often been noticed on the top of one of the heights in the Duck Creek Rangein the early morning hours smoking a pipe. Based on what the locals argue, this spirit is most likely the tormented spirit of a local resident who used to dwell here in Mc Gill

I am stuck in a small town but on the outskirts there was this huge indian battle. There is a legend that the spirits of the Indians killed in that battle protect us from tornadoes. I don't believe that they protect us from weather but they probably still roam somewhere around here.

The house around the corner from mine. My best friends mom told us a whole entire family of seven was murderd there by the father then he took his own life. She wnrt in there when it was abandoned when she was a teen and it gave her the creeps. Since I've lived here over a span of six years I've seen twelve famlilieys come and go.

My friend's house, my other friend's house, my best friend's house, my sister's house, (possibly) my house, the trail by the rec center, the bookstore on the square, the restaurant by the river that's now closed down, the old farmhouse that's still owned by a clan of Satanic albinos who shoot at you with shotguns, the bridge that goes over the river...

*breathes* Must I really name more or I can I just say the whole town yet?
