[Joseph: Frozen Coliseum]
It was flying back from the hit when he heard her. Heard Sayrike shout the name. Shout out the owner of the heart.
And Joseph's own heart sank for a split second as it felt like time slowed for him. Before suddenly beating harder in his chest, fire burning in his eyes. Even as he slammed into Auron, he bounced off of the warrior and then once more on the ground before righting himself, sliding along the floor on his feet and hands in an awkward splayed stance till he came to a stop.
*crackle crack*
The cracking was clearly audible this time as the staff, flown to the side from the blow that send the monk flying, reappeared in his hand. The cracking being somewhat visible as the two areas where it started seemed to show more clearly, the cracks starting to stretch towards the center of the staff.
And with bravery in his system, he yelled. Wordlessly. Primal-like. He screamed as he streaked back across the battlefield. Nemesis wasn't in sight of his 'blind rage'. But the ******** that hit him was.
He raced across, closing the distance between him and the gorilla-like general, Rera, in but a moment. And with sudden flames spouting out of his arms, his legs, his staff, he started up his combo attack. He 'danced' at the enemy, limbs flying, swinging to the beat of his own racing heart as his movements left ribbons of flame in their wake as he attacked, his positioning moving with the 'beast' if it attempted to move closer or away from him.
If Rera went anywhere, Joseph was going with him.

[ ? ? ? ? ? : Frozen Coliseum ]
Amidst the chaos of battle, Nemesis might have realized that there was a new noise in the background. It was faint--so faint, in fact, it would have gone without notice had it not been familiar. It was an odd sound from the recesses of some dark corner, like a constant humming he couldn't place.
Something flickered near where the throne platform had been--like something caught the light and bent it just so as it went through the mist-laden fog. On further inspection, it was simply... more fog.
"I suppose you could say I've had the chance to see past the veil of Darkness."
Despite the soft volume, everyone would have heard Kyle's voice echoing from the throne's spot. But even that was distant, distorted... unreal.
Over the charms, however, there was an instant response from the dragoon: "Not it."
The distant humming Nemesis heard continued.

[Kyla: The Corner Stones of Death]
Next- … all hell broke loose. Having originally stood closer to Nemesis, wanting to collect as much data as she could, she noticed a change in the air around him as the conversation turned more than a little dramatic. Of course though, he was Nemesis after all. How he was about to engage them next, was the question. And here it was-
Compassion, Hope, Curiosity, Morality- It was turning out just how she thought. What must’ve happened to Louis in the end. But she wasn’t sure if she could dare feel vindicated about it. In the end they chose mercy like she had hoped, and pleaded for. Somehow they found a way much to her most desperate hope- but the fight wasn’t over. Everything could still unravel- and it did- For one crazy moment, Kyla thought Nemesis was using her as some unspoken figure in his story- but some parts didn’t make sense. The introduction certainly sounded familiar- relatable, but other parts missed the mark in her opinion. Then the end was strange.
- in the end, she... is no one. Completely void of consequence. A lonely, meaningless woman who deigns not even a name in this tale."
How sad, but enlightening. Kyla did have a name- so who was this person talking about? To be forgotten. Dying was scary, but. Acceptable, but forgotten? Kyla couldn’t think of a worse fate. Leaving something behind in the hearts of others was how bonds and spirits stayed connected. It was how long after her grandmother passed, her impressions and kindness lived on. To have that be erased?...
What could be more sad?
The world shifted, and they were in a colosseum. Oh joy- and here it began again. Standing on frosted stone Kyla breathed out a haze of hotter air then expected- and found relief. She felt hot, dizzy, and the crispness was oddly sharpening for her senses.
Grateful for that- Not so grateful for the new enemies. Praying she had enough mana lef t to dish out- Kyla prepared for battle.
When Nemesis changed into his monstrous form and was now locked in battle with Justice- the portals opened! Kyla had barely any time to cast anything to block the first initial onslaught. But the attack was short lived. She felt something sting- Somewhere in her back but she left it be for now they had company!
“Bobbi!” First things first- Two giant beast like things were coming for her and those at the front. She had ot jump back and gain her bearing so she could counter! As the Ice giant Nashir cleaved down at them Kyla recoiled back- leaping on air a line backwards as something form their sides began attacking their supports- Oh the HELL with that!
First rule of attacking a group, take out the medics- not on her watch! Kyla formed practical shields from her pictomancy, trying to create barriers that flickered into existences, solid objects to buffer and deflect the little ice demon. As asked, Kyla began casting her buffs on the remaining people in the order- Auron, Joe, Sora, and Zell - she didn’t buff herself yet- but rather wiht Haste on her she thougth she could send an attack at Bobbi’s assailant first, again more practical pictomany, a meta-slash striking where she could land one. She had to interrupt that fight ASAP.
UnfortunatlyHaste’s effect broke- Kyla was about to prepare and buff herself when she only just managed to avoid a beam. A chill down her spine- knowing without her buff that could have been bad- Then Sayrike yelled- it was Rachels heart. . Oh…good grief. What would happen if something terrible happened to that?! Meanwhile, Kyle summoned Dragons and as Riku knocked Bael off of Dawn. Kyla growled and prepared to send some helpp- intending to sick a Flight of Blades after it!
[Axel: The Cornerstones of Death]]
Stepping out into the main room, the Flury of dancing flames couldn’t be more boooored. Least he figured that was the right reaction. Nemesis began to prattle on about –“who is he talking about?” he mumbled, leaning to one side commentary open to anyone’s reactions. But it was a short lived window as the shard began to show his true colors. When the scenery changed the nobody’s brow rose- “…aww, you brought the right guest to the party this time,” he mused, swinging his Chakrams back and forth in anticipation as the frozen solders’. and who'se heart was that?? It couldn’t be what was left of Louis’s could it?
The moment those portals opened up Axel was a dancing again. Nice ot be light on his feet. He swung his weapons and shattered most of the shards that launched themselves from those opening, otherwise just dodging like a boss! Hope the others were so lucky-
He heard Kyle- “ Loud and clear!” and with a whoop- he was gone! A flash of burning flames making a front run to meet the beastling. He kept an eye out for whatever counted as a witch- minus his own companions. He felt the rush of bravery on him and tossed his Chakrams for a quick strike- maneuvering around Yuffie as she zero’d in with her greased lightning. When the 6 dulled beams hit the battle field Axel surprisingly got hit! He dove tailed out of his round about after catching his Chakram and skidded to a stop holding his side. He hissed, looking up and muttered something before continuing on with his strikes, taking another look around the battle field for- Where Was the witch? Maybe it was the one thorwing stuff at them? Meanwhile beatsy was back- and after Riku tossed him off of Dawn Axel was coming up the ear- followed by- bookworm? Riku drove through him, and Axel threw his Cackrams at him again- followed by a phantismal blade.
[[ @Rhiko: The Flight of Blades (aka phantasmal blades at the end here) are meant to be Kyla's action for the next round! ]]

[[Narration]] Rera clashed head-on with Joe, moving with him toe to toe, the man's flaming strikes matching each monstrous fist, causing eruptions of stone at their feet, wind at their flanks, as well as fire and ice around their fists. Rera the heavy handed was enjoying this fight, matching his movements to Joseph, flipping and clawing and slamming at every opportunity. Once, grabbing at Joseph he snatched the air, finding the man on top of his massive arm, a kick flying at his face before his other hand blocked the blow. His fist closed around the leg but fire ignited beneath his palm blasting away his grip. Another strike, another miss as Rera ducked beneath and turning while they continued their brutal dance, he brought his arms up and down again with clasped fists, the hammer strike meeting the stony floor causing a spiked uprising of ice that spread out in a small circle at their feet for a short moment before the ice dissipated into mist. The inferno mage, who flew into the battlefield, past the giant beasts and struck at seemingly nothing, was deflected, a flickering shadow parrying her strike as one of the figures in her unique vision spun what seemed to be a staff reverse holding the previous ornate head of the staff like a hilt to a long sword. The meteor on the other hand landed behind the first figure and in front of the latter, which quickly and nimbly moved back and father away, from its form several strands of what looked like hair springing to life momentarily with regenerative magics. While Rera and Joe fought in mobile fashion around the battlefield, Nashir, moved to the defensive, clamping down and bringing the massive blade up diagonally across his body to use the flat of it as a shield against most frontal attacks, only pushing back enough to deflect blows and attempt an occasional bash to the face if one came too close or opened themselves up for a full on attack. The shells silencing both Jenny and Amy shattered, but as it would seem, the traps were long-lived enough to completely interrupt their previous flow of magic, dispelling any beneficial or malefic magic placed on them as well as dismissing any charge that had been procured. Above, Atir, still falling, twisted her body to aim her massive crossbow... 1... 2... 3... click. The javelin sized bolt stored up within erupted from a barrel-like structure of the gun and flew, directly into the dragon side. Elsewhere on the battlefield, after their attacks connected, Bael, collapsed to the ground in a heap of ice, broken and lifeless... but in that moment, a tiny string floated up from his body, glowing a deep blue. The boy-like body shifted and stood once more, stumbling, but standing again with a renewed vigor to the glow of his crystalline eyes. Similar regenerations were happening across the battlefield where anyone with scan or clarity could see the generals where just as quickly recovering their debilitation as they were receiving them. In the sky above, Justice collided with Nemesis' gut, knocking the air of out his lungs and sending the two further skyward. Nemesis careened until colliding with a loud bang against something in the darkness. The lights that ran along the invisible walls glowed bright in defiance but there where Nemesis had broken through, a tiny peek of light pierced through to the darkness and spread out like a curtain over part of the battlefield. Still, even this tiny droplet of vision granted to the warriors of light and their unlikely allies a glimpse at their surroundings. The previous abyss was not at all endless, but rather they stood at the center of a larger cylindrical and black metal tunnel. Shifting plates that spun within and around themselves in circles like massive rings. There was a moment of peace in the air over the battlefield, where Justice floated with a few selective beats of his wings, staring at the light as crimson flames licked his limbs, the broken halo looking oddly fuller than before yet still clearly split in two. There was a shift, a shadow clogging the piercing ray of light that bent around the coffin-bound audience and orchestrators casting disorienting shadows. A whistling noise screeched through the cavernous expanse before countless red shafts of ice pierced the monsters that sang and bellowed and chanted in discordant worship of their conflict. Their bodies collapsed in upon themselves before returning to hearts that had been used to sustain their existence, then like the soldiers outside the castle had been absorbed by Atir in the illusion, the hearts of the fallen were drawn away, collecting into a single dot that in its luminescence, overcame the white shade of light that pierced the veil, but turned the entire battlefield scarlet, making the frost on the floors and walls look more like blood. At the hole where the light had dared to peek in on their conflict, Nemesis stood panting, his bone limbs holding tight to the edges of the broken metal plating that he'd been forced to smash through like a flesh-covered battering ram. Blood ran down his face and over his mouth that had formed a sadistic grin once more as that same blood lined the space between his teeth as he licked them in a panting fury. In his now free hands, he held a mass of convulsing red energy. The man laughed hysterically for a couple seconds before stopping short. Then with both hands he pressed the mass to his face as he, like a rabid animal snapping and frothing at the mouth, devoured the mass bite by squelching bite. Justice who looked on with an expression of even deeper fury, gripped the heart that had at some point during their momentary clash, transferred hands. Nemesis lurched over and crossed his arms over his stomach as though to vomit but threw back his head, which with the angle of his body directed his face at the combatants below and Justice that floated a good distance above them, "Face the agony of 1000 tortured hearts!"Then with a span, sprouting from the skeletal limbs attached to the walls, corruption, vein-shaped growths appeared across the entire roof, colored the same as his appendages, though at each joint and intersection, a black and scarlet glob of darkness sat rippling with quickening intensity. And in the blink of an eye, the 1000 spheres released their charge and just as many lasers converged on the battlefield, not with a target, not with any particular goal in mind, but rather to obliterate the entire platform(and all on it) as a whole. They stopped short however as a massive barrier erected itself over the platform, originating quite obviously from Kyla's bestial shard that stood glowing like a spotlight at the center of everything. The shard let out a pained gasp as the beams continued to press against the outside of the barrier, sweat instantly beading in his forehead as his opponent continued his barrage, moving the lasers along the outside, poking and prodding the wall for any weakness. Outside the barrier, Justice dodged in and out of criss-crossing beams slowly making his way through the deadly maze to his opponent on the far side, but his enraged roars and curses at Nemesis could be heard even through the barrier. There was a sound of breaking glass and metal under severe pressure.... before something broke. The barrier shattered prematurely and it looked as though they'd be destroyed for sure before everything was.. rewritten. " This ending isn't any good... let's try that again..." said a voice only audible to Joe, the Fencer. Script, like a foreign language wrote across every surface, even floating upon air. The beams reversed direction, the barrier rebuilt itself before vanishing, the coffins rebuilt themselves from rubble though the frozen hearts within remained missing, the airborne shards flew backwards as everything continued in rewind just before the impact. Then the script vanished and time reverted to normal... only-Nemesis collided with Justice, the two struck at each other, trading blows, each ignoring their own wounds to continue bleeding the other. At last they locked into a grapple and plummeted to the ground, colliding with the floor with a massive explosion that would knock everyone from their feet, ice soldier and light bearer alike. When the air calmed, at the center of the shock-wave, Nemesis and Justice remained locked in a stalemate, each holding one hand over and under Rachel's heart, energy sparking from their fingers to form a tiny, impenetrable barrier, at each of their necks, the other held a contrasting scythe to the other. "I'll kill you, Nemesis," Justice seethed, eyes pure boiling red, each word spoken releasing fire that spit from between parted lips, "You and him will NOT be allowed to revive.""Hahahaa! You could try! But I won't let you get what you want. You won't kill me, you won't kill Louis, and Justice will never be served," Nemesis chuckled, looking up at the halo over the opposing shard's head, "Blind as ever, you pass down judgement on the guilty, but you never consider the consequences your actions have on those surrounding the condemned.""I don't care, what matters is you die," the halo over Justice's head was no longer floating about in a circular pattern, but instead hovering in loosely connected molten pieces that curved up from his temples and back halting just before connecting in a pair of sharp points... like horns, "What happens to the rest doesn't matter.""So you know," Nemesis grinned baring a mouth full of fangs, "You'll kill everyone his spell has dominated under its thrall... how very like you, Vengeance.""Shut up! Louis would perform even worse atrocities again if allowed to live," red lightning sparked from between the two and struck an unoccupied corner of the platform. Kyle could feel his own heart ache as though something where being wrenched from it as the two spoke, "I'll make sure Louis never has that chance and I'll crush any who stand in my way of making it happen! Justice will be served."Meanwhile, the soldiers that had previously been fighting viciously, had stood from their prone positions, only to take defensive... yet pensive postures. They looked hesitant, though several had clear shots at Justice or the light bearers, they made no move to attack. Choose Their Fate

[ ? ? ? ? ? : Frozen Coliseum ]The humming continued... and grew. Now both Nemesis and Justice could hear it. Esteem could hear it. Innocence could hear it. Creativity, Curiosity, Hope, Morality, Compassion--all pieces of Louis could hear the murmuring beyond their corporeal senses. And so could the Lightbearers connected to those shards, but only those. It sounded as a collection of whispers from an audience beyond counting. "They are like an eldritch choir, an omniscient presence that pervades every ounce of shade..."Kyle's voice again, still distant, but clear enough to be heard in silence that followed the impact on the ground. This could be heard by all. The chaos caused by Nemesis and Justice had stirred up more fog, a mist of crushed ice scattered to the magically-charged breeze. But the glimmer near the throne seemed stronger now--even now, as they began to shout at one another, even as they struggled, something persisted. And when silence fell after Justice's final remark, that mist churned. It gave off an odd mixture of color, a starless night sky mixed with fresh blood. One might have guessed a form was trying to manifest itself. The murmuring audience, heard by the select few, became a talking crowd. "Do you hear them, Louis? Whispering from the shadows...?"The voice was tense--quiet, afraid of being overheard as the fog thickened into some ephemeral projection, a grainy vision of a man facing away, staring up into nothingness. The talking crowd became screaming choir, and the image of the suited man began to turn, but in turning the projection shattered. The fog exploded and swirled into a storm of black eyes and onyx skies and crimson shade, and this tumultuous mist of red and black swooped down around Nemesis and Justice, enveloping them in a twisting cyclone of magic. Immediately, everyone could see the eyes, seven massive eyes of black and yellow staring out at them from the storm, but also inside, such that Nemesis and Justice would feel the gaze of the source, the eyes of that terrible shouting congregation-- "THE COSMOS WILL BURN WITH THEIR COMING!"The sudden roar was even further distorted, tainted. It contained unbound fury, as inward directed as it was outward projected. Within the tornado, the air, already thick with the rage of the combatants, became practically tangible for the anger the magic emitted. Then, upon the fall of silence, the shards and their owners would have felt the eldritch cacophony stop, and the swirling vortex around the two fighters began to slow. "Ajora... what have you done?"This time, the ghostly voice belonged to one they'd heard so very frequently in the past couple hours: Louis. "What have I done?"Kyle's voice again--except cleaner. No distortions, no static, no hearing it through a veil... it was as if he was in the room. The storm surrounding the two fighters came to a stop, and then--as if being siphoned into a vacuum, or the gravity of a star--all the crystal mist and fog was pulled back a few meters away, on the edge of the crater on the opposite side of the main battlefield. It collected and swirled and coagulated into a completely opaque existence, and took shape, took color, took texture, until finally-- --it was Ajora. He was insubstantial, not physically there, but even as a specter he seemed as real as any of the others present (if slightly translucent). "Louis," he said, staring down at the two fighters in some mixture of surprise and disappointment. "What have you done?""Yeah, no, still not it."

[Joseph: Frozen Coliseum] The monk wasn't exactly trading blow for blow, but he fought on, yelling with each attack. Screaming at his enemy that dared strike him. His rage was consuming him as he kept up with the attacks. Untill Rera raised it's arms up. Joseph's bo was brought up to try to take the blow. The fists and the staff connected, stopping- Nothing. The fists came down, the bo doing nothing to stop the attack as it suddenly snapped, shattering in the center as it broke into two. The pieces fell to the ground in slow motion as Joe's face started to lose color. Going from the red of rage to the white of confusion and fear and misunderstanding... The ice from below struck him, biting through his clothes and slicing into flesh. He fell to his knees, staring into some unknown distance. His blood was pumping hard, still. It was all he could hear, the heartbeat in his ears. Externally, he seemed to shut down for a moment. Internally, he was grasping, clawing for something, anything to do, to feel.
*splash* Around all the chaos, the beating of his blood against his brain...something splashed. Reaching from the depths of his innards, something bubbled and crashed and shifted. And he clung to it like a drowning man. He clung to rage once more, and grabbed half of his broken staff. He was blind to the pensiveness of the creature in front of him. All he knew was that he was screaming, the jagged, broken part of the staff was pointed at the creature, and then he was thrusting it, aiming for the thing's chest. And if nothing stopped him? He was likely to run the creature through.

{Bobbi, Demyx, Zell, Red XIII, Yuffie .:. Louis's Heart .:. Frozen Coliseum}
Bobbi was fully expecting the onslaught to continue, even after having time rewind and being knocked on her a**. She was up on her feet again in an instant, Taulmaril up, her arrow cloaked in her Piercing Icicle spell, ready to impale whichever of the generals decided to attack next—Atir by preference.
But… nothing.
She took this opportunity, this unexpected moment of rest, to catch her breath, and recoup her thoughts. The words being spoken echoed around in her head, not quite catching, nearly incomprehensible until she forced herself to focus on them.
"This isn’t justice!" Bobbi protested loudly, hoping to catch the shard’s attention.
The murmuring was relegated to nothing but background noise, it was the words said by Kyle’s voice—only, not Kyle himself—that she bent her attention towards.
Her jaw went slack when she saw the true speaker.
:I thought he was dead!: she exclaimed over the charms.
Zell was back on his feet again after being knocked to the ground, just in time to see Joseph lunging in to skewer Rera with the jagged end of his broken staff.
"Joe, no!" Zell called, lunging forward to tackle the larger man to the ground. "They’re not attacking. Calm down! Something else is going on."
Nanaki heaved Yuffie off from where she had landed on him, shook himself all over, and went on the defensive. He was fully prepared for the onslaught to continue, but when he saw the ice generals standing about, not attacking, he chose to wait and see what developed.
"What the hell is going on?" Yuffie asked, climbing slowly to her feet and rubbing at her bruised posterior. She’d landed hard on poor Red XIII, and even harder when he’d thrown her off of him. "Did we just rewind? What’s Ajora doing here? Why do you have Rachel’s heart? What—"
Demyx had clapped a hand over Yuffie’s mouth before she could continue on her tirade of questions.
"Slow down there, sweetheart," he said, waggling a finger at her with his free hand. "You gotta let 'em answer your first questions before you ask mo—oof!"
She’d punched him in the ribs.

[Kyla: Frozen Coliseum]
“Oh, of COURSE they’d regenerate… jeez-“ that would make it too easy now wouldn’t it otherwise?
Kyla gasps, the pain in her back a little more sore form her fervent sketching motions as the battle field continued to clamourize with more cluster phobic combat. All leading up to a maelstrom of attacks that she simply wasn’t fast enough to block yet- damnit damnit- WHY couldn’t she be faster? Where was swift-cast or something?
Note to self... my hit list of things to research-
- NOT nOw! Kyla squinted as the world went white, then glaring red. Their many enemies coalescing into what was probably their original purpose. The batteries an even BIGGER gun! 1000 hearts worth of fury came raining down aaaand- Throwing her hands up in a futile attempt or reflex, half way through a shield drawing- a different barrier suddenly appeared in the way. It took no time for her to realize why- “Esteem!” More of a statement, then a question. Just like that time, he seemed to reflect her summons powers only at a much more amplified state. If only he could use reflect. But would this mean after using this power he’d be down for the count again for a while?
No time- where, why were they regenerating? How come? “We need to scan what’s syphoning health to these bastards!” Maybe it was somewhere up above? They were running out of time to- the sound of the barrier breaking. Kyla tried to recast her own to fortify it, but it was useless. It broke.
She knew no more and was back to casting something offensive as the two major shards clashed above them. The Scene Rewritten
The shards were crazy, both of them- “Ok, since we came in here… anyone else sure the first cleansed shards could ‘stay’ that way? Or does prolonged exposure to this plane saturate them in something?” It was something she hadn’t considered- just because they were purified once, doesn’t mean they were guaranteed to remain that way. Either through their tether hosts, or just this place in general, what effects did the events since then have on their shards?[Axel: Frozen Coliseum] “ok… what’s up with them?” he gestured with a jut of his chin. “Common – lets go I’m still fired up!” he swung his Chakram around again - ready to smash the little feral beasty again, as much as it would take before he was nothing but ice cubes for drinks- But the little bugger wasn’t budging. He- they, all of those generals look nervous. Up at their superiors above. Ok THAT was never a good thing. “Um… Is Justice sounding a bit looney too to you guys?”[Kyla: Frozen Coliseum]
Kyla couldn’t be sure some where she was standing because she was having trouble hearing. There was a buzzing in her head- and at first she allotted it to her fever. The ice wasn’t help anymore. She felt hot. But like hell she was going to let her guard down. She cast her Warding Lotus finally on herself, and picked off the next in line when she caught sight of them- James, non-leader Joe, Sayrike, and Riku. The humming got louder. “Anyone hear that?” she said, looking around for the source- what was next? Some bomb going off? This was stupid it, in the manner which they were being messed around with, they all felt like puppets on strings. Surely the puppeteer was somewhere above them, gleefully swaying the cross hangers of those tangling threads of cruel fate. “This is less a coliseum and more a...stage?” Voices. How fitting she’d think that.
“Who’se...talking?...” And then she heard his voice. It was the cadence that gave it away. Unless the original finally snapped under all this pressure- and she was praying that wasn’t it- “oh no..”
She saw his back for a moment and Boy did the audience get loud- she winced as they screamed. “Aaargh- for Pete sake!” The fog exploded and then the eyes. She almost shrieked and backs away from them.
When the fog lifted, the voices died. Kyla felt her head was still pounding but was grateful for the silence. “…things are never good when you start hearing things…” she muttered, exchanging a gaze between the shards, and generals- and then to- Ajora.”…ugh.” So much she wanted to say or scream, but with Bobbi’s question an annoyed grunt was all the artist could muster.
And then Joe went berserk. Whatever was holding that man together had been splintered during this entire encounter and his sudden explosive behavior didn’t seem too much of a surprise- what was a surprise, was his weapon being broken. “..oh God- Joe.” He lost it, and thankfully Zell was grappling him, but he was no state anymore. He looked hurt, since the Ice bit into him.[Axel: Frozen Coliseum] “HEY! Get your head on man!” He figured Zell could use one more pair of hands fast enough to grapple the berserker Light bearer. There was no telling what Joe could dish out in this state right? Might as well make sure he didn’t get himself killed- or Zell for that matter.
“If he doesn’t relax, think anyone can put him to sleep- or heal him? He looks roughed up."

[ Amy : Narnia / Louis's Heart ]
Amy's charge fizzled out due to the silence sphere, but she was freed from that restriction moments later. She began charging again when the silence was removed. Justice was fighting Nemesis now, and it became apparent, to her at least, that Justice was actually a combination of two shards. One, was Justice; the other, was Vengeance. Or maybe Justice could turn into Vengeance, or some such.
Also, Ajora was back, to the surprise of no one. Amy looked at Kyla and Bobbi. Well, maybe some people were surprised.
And did no one else notice how things were going back in time? Rewriting the story. Were they ever out of the illusion? This whole situation seemed orchestrated by some being far more powerful than the lot of them combined, and was decidedly one sided. Rewrite the ending. Be a boob. It was like Next, with Nic Cage. Things happen one way, don't like it, rewind, redo.
She made no move to attack, as they weren't being attacked, and the activity around Justice and Nemesis was sufficient enough for the time being. There had been a bunch of freaky eyes looking out at them, but she was numb to it, too desensitized by the things she'd seen in the past week to be shocked or alarmed. Nobody in her group appeared to be hurt. Zell was keeping Joe from attacking, so no need to do anything there. She stood ready, tapping her foot.

[Dawn : Louis' Heart : Frozen Coliseum]
Dawn's feet froze, ending her dances when she caught the sound of 'Kyle' in the distance. She looked around confused and on her guard, expecting some sort of attack by the beastman or one of the others once more. Then he came out of hiding. It was Ajora.
'How did he get here?' she thought as she looked at the specter that caused them so many headaches, though something seemed off about him. About the appearance, then she remembered something said before.
"Guys, I don't think that is really him," Dawn said trying to ease the others, like Bobbi and Kyla who were in arms with the appearance, "Liar said that he used my seal to get close to Ajora. Who knows how close? Some of himself might still be within Louis's heart for all we know. And we all know the bad guys always find ways to linger or come back."
Dawn glanced back at Riku for a moment then over to the younger Joe, who now held the purified shard previously known as Liar in his heart.

{James : Louis’ Heart : Frozen Coliseum} The corsair remained focused on his target, waiting, focusing on his next opportunity to unleash another shot at Atir. During that time Kyla’s wall was cast upon him. However, the opportunity to strike again never came as as the sky above flashed white and then turned the color of blood, making the frost strewn across the ground look like streams of blood. Then Nemesis bellowed and the real life equivalent of a bullet hell began raining down upon them. Just as the bullets were about to obliterate the field a barrier appeared around them erected apparently by Kyla’s shard. Then the sound of glass shattering, strange words streamed… and then the bullets, all of it went away as if it had never been… James’ focus was once again on Atir ready to fire once again. {{Cue: Whatsoever a Man Soweth…}} Then Justice and Nemesis crashed down to the floor and the shockwave that followed knocked the corsair down to the ground. The Lunar Gunner had thankfully not been injured during the fight so he was quick to rise to his feet again. He took the opportunity to survey the situation, the generals and shards had all stopped fighting, they simply stood where they had been, unmoving non-aggressive. The only one still acting aggressively was Joe, Bo staff broken… lost in rage. ’I didn’t even know our Heartbound weapons could break…,’ The corsair thought to himself as he slowly made his way towards the epicenter of the shockwave. Nemesis and Justice were locked together, each holding Rae’s heart scythes at each other’s throats in what was an evident stalemate. Justice proclaiming he would kill Nemesis regardless of the cost… even if it meant all of the lives swallowed up in the spell. The corsair looked from Nemesis to Justice, uncertain what the proper course of action was, his eyes narrowed on Justice, more specifically his “halo” which now more resembled horns, the symbolism was not lost on him. However, before he could say anything Mizu stated the same thing he was feeling. Just when things couldn’t get more muddled a spectral form of Ajora appeared. He looked from Ajora to where Kyle had been last (finding him still missing) as Dawn spoke regarding something Liar mentioned. ”Just like he was within Kyle’s heart?” He asked in an effort to confirm his suspicions, remembering their Drop to save the dragoon and Ajora’s appearance within it as well. "Regardless what are you doing here? Are you here to help or cause more problems?" He asked directly to the replica, though unsure if he would answer or not. His gun was not aimed at any of them. His magic charging, ready if need be. {Auron : Louis’ Heart : Frozen Coliseum}
Auron had been knocked back and almost down as Joe was knocked into him by the berserker’s attack. By the time he was prepared to strike again the situation had changed. Blasts of energy had been about to rain down on them and then vanished and then the shockwave hit knocking the unsent samurai to his knees. When he got back to his feet he noticed that all of the combatants had stopped aside from their leader Joe who was clearly lost in his rage, now being restrained by both Zell and Axel. He made his way to stand in front of Joe to bar him further from attacking.
”Get a hold of yourself! You’re supposed to be the leader,” He stated sternly, his good eye locked on Joe’s.
His focus shifted briefly as the form of Ajora appeared. Unsure of what to do about the spectral replica. He remembered Ajora all too well of course. However, it seemed that his focus was predominantly on the two entangled shards. Ajora’s appearance was likely going to make the current situation even more tense if feelings towards the dark dragoon remained the same.{Leon : Louis’ Heart : Frozen Coliseum}
Leon had continued to stay on the attack against Atir as best he could until all hell broke loose and then rewinded. Before the gunblader really knew what was going on he was knocked off his feet by the shockwave the shards created upon crashing to the ground. When he made it to his feet he surveyed the field and the apparent cease fire and stale mate between Justice and Nemesis, Rae’s heart in hand and scythes at each other’s throats. Leon’s gunblade remained in a defensive stance as he approached the rest of the group, making sure he was prepared in case the battle resumed.
The gunblader looked at Yuffie as she continually spouted out questions, not sure how best to answer them though figured he should try.
”Yuffie… I have no idea and yes I think somehow we did rewind. As for the other two, I have no idea. Nothing else about this mission has made a great deal of sense either so why should it now? Let’s just focus and things will hopefully get answered.” He stated trying to calm his hyperactive friend down.

[[Vengeance, Nemesis : Frozen Colosseum]] "You're... alive?" Nemesis' expression softened, mouth hanging open slightly, eyes fading to a hint of white ever-so-sligh- Tap."NO! You're dead!" the shard known best as Justice shouted, seething, fire sparking from the molten lines running through the feathers of his black-charred wings, "I watched you die, there's no way you lived!"Tap.Nemesis faltered, his jaw clenching, fangs visibly grinding together, "Noo... I watched you die. Again you taunt me. You won't fool me twice, Kyle. I know you're there, playing your stupid games!"Tap.Rera, while still hesitant, was oddly and perhaps the most shockingly visibly surprised. The icy face contorted as he stepped back away from Joe who was practically radiating anger. Shadows whispered with glee in Joseph's ear with rising tremor, "Kill...Kill...KILL...KILL! KILL THEM ALL!"Tap.Justice, or perhaps Vengeance, all the while unable to move, unable to strike out at the vision of Ajora grew all the more frustrated. Then there was tapping. Incessant, annoying, infuriating tapping. His eyes followed to the source of the sound. Rage engulfed him in a blaze of fire as jagged lines of red energy spread like a web between the two shards coming directly off of Rae's heart. Crimson lightning shot out from the sphere between the two, arcing and striking where Amy stood providing a constant driving force that left a trailing crater in a line from the impact point out to the edge of the colosseum before the light show sputtered out with a crackle.

[ Kyle, Sora, Riku, Matthew, John, Melisandre, : Louis' Heart : Frozen Coliseum ]After freeing up Amy, Matthew cautiously watched the battlefield, but was particularly shaken by the sudden appearance of the massive wyvern. "AHHH WHY IS THERE A DRAGON--""Pretty sure it's Kyle's." Riku called out over the charms, remembering something similar from the castle. The blue mage stared up at it, still antsy.
"Why can you summon a Tigrex.""Long story, it's safe.""Assuming it doesn't run us over, sure." Sora chimed in, rebounding off of Nashir's blade and pausing for a split second to decide on what action to do next, though things were starting to get chaotic.Atir's javelin bolt sailed into the Tirgrex's side, but hardly seemed to pierce through it's hide--only enough to cause it to angrily roar in the falling general's direction, a powerful blast of air flying forth. Riku stared at the downed child-beast, keeping an eye in case this was some sort of bluff. He turned out to be right, but for the wrong reasons--the Heartless yet persisted, but by some... outward means. Nemesis? The spell itself?
Darkness?
"Kyla's right. Sayrike, Matthew, try to track the source.""I can try, but Scan's not exactly all-purpose, I need a target," the mirror mage responded, trying to Scan Bael after John freed her from her prison. "It typically only gives basic information, like name, type, health, magic, and statistics.""I don't think now's the best time for Clarity--""Face the agony of 1000 tortured hearts!"Like an emergency alarm, everything became red. The pressure on the field became nearly unbearable, Esteem did everything he could yet again, pushing himself over and over-- --and then it all rewound, magic glyphs writing themselves in midair as something turned back time. "Jesus, Kyle. Cutting it close.""That... wasn't me."Before any other explanation could be given, the two fighting shards collided with the ground, forming a crater in their impact and stirring forth... something else. Ajora? "Yeah, no, still not it."* There was so much to digest; most just stared on, trying to comprehend everything. Nemesis was trying to return Louis to his full, dark state--and revive Ajora in the process--somehow using Rachel's heart. This was, of course, bad. Nemesis had to be stopped, and if possible, purified--if not, killed outright. There primary goal was to protect Narnia and the world at large from this growing curse; saving Louis was a secondary objective. However, as long as Nemesis had the heart, the innocent lives--and their own--could still be saved.Justice, Kyle's shard, was trying to take it himself, but according to Nemesis, would in doing so sacrifice everyone trapped in the spell to make sure Ajora and Louis never rose again--the ultimate case of "many versus few". This would, of course, accomplish their mission--but in doing so, not only would they die, but so would every innocent life already trapped in the spell... much like an event during the Atlantica battle, when the shard had first infiltrated Kyle. And, of course, the strange words uttered by Ajora before his appearance. They had seemed like background noise, as if something happening beyond them entirely--the scene that played out in the fog may have been barely legible as a memory other shards had shown before, of the two men standing on a silver platform surrounded by darkness. Ajora's words echoed, particularly in those who had seen first hand what he was speaking of-- the coming storm, the Darkness, which some had guessed even now was trying to march its way into the core of Louis' heart.Making matters more tense, the heartless generals ceased their assault. Why? If it was due to the sudden conflict between Nemesis and Justice, then were their capabilities tied to his livelihood and concentration? Or was there some internal struggle for power? After all, some had born witness in Atlantis to that eldritch Darkness seizing control of Louis' Heartless before..."Oh Jojo," Matthew gasped softly as he tried to move over toward the monk, looking at the man's broken bo. They could break? He cast Cura on the monk, hoping the soothing energy would calm him down."Bobbi, we only saw his conscious body get dragged off," Riku reminded Bobbi over the charms. He looked over toward Joe, then back toward the shards and the ghost, eyes narrowed. "Worse, at the time, they managed to stop and undo his... unraveling. But..."Then Dawn spoke up, bringing up the seal that she'd had on her briefly following their capture on the Dutchman. "Well, whatever he is, he's not substantial," Sayrike muttered over the charms. "I can't Scan him--"
"WATCH OUT!"
Sayrike flinched as the sudden, powerful blast of energy rocketed out of the crater toward Amy--only for John to yank her out of the way. It was a fortunate reaction: on contact with the ground, the bolt of energy destroyed the floor where she'd stood, and continued back toward the edge, creating a lengthy ditch-like crater."This is getting ridiculous," the sorceress grumbled, molten greatsword still in one hand as she walked over to the crater's edge from the side, looking between the shards, the heart between, and the ghost on the opposite side of the others. "You're both being fools. You, boy--you think sacrificing lives is justice? You're blinded by your own anger--that's simply taking the easiest path, giving up. Are you a coward?"Kyle... he's gone. He's separated himself. So then he's giving into it once again. We cannot trust him to fight for the best outcome. There is only one outcome. The great crimson dragon held its front claws down on the ground, lowering itself somewhat, staring this way and that as it tensed its back legs. Ajora rolled his eyes, still staring down at them with disdain, his arms crossed; he was the equivalent of a disappointed dad standing over two children in mud.
"Well, unless Kyle picked up illusion magic, it ain't him," he said, lifting one arm and literally waving it through his neck as he spoke. "And unless you saw something no one else did, you only saw me get carried away alive by worse enemies. Why does everyone assume that means I'm dead...?"
"Hell, believe it or not--I know it's a lot to swallow, I can hardly fathom it myself--but little dancer girl's right. Partially, anyway. Liar tried to take credit, big surprise there, but that's not important. I outright told you I did this:"
Suddenly, instantly, Ajora's image was replaced with his mer-form, his hands hidden behind his head, and he was distinctly grainier than before, his voice once more through a veil: "Oh, and leaving tiny bits and pieces of me around before the main part got pushed out." The scene jumped, but he was still floating, just at a different angle. He lifted his arms from behind his head, waving them around in front of him; his hands were completely missing, a thin aura of crimson energy emanating from the stumps that were his wrists. "I've got my hands inside you! What could I have to fear?"
The image shifted instantly once more, and Ajora returned, still slightly translucent, his voice back to normal, his gaze still disappointed.
"You're both being complete idiots. I warned you about the storm, and you invite them in after I willingly tried to give my life for their safety. And Kyle gave you hospitality and a new chance at life, and you throw him aside and offer him as a sacrifice for your absolute cowardice, as this..."
He then looked over to Melisandre, and his eyes narrowed in confusion, mouth hanging slightly agape. His eyes swiveled to look at the group of heroes opposite him, then back to her--then back to them, then back to her--
"... Norn? You found a... whatever. The point is, as the wannabe pirate wonders, that I'm here to smack some sense into you. What the ********? What the hell. What the s**t? Really. Just, stop. You're both terrible at all of this. What are either of you really trying to accomplish? These kids can legit solve everything if you'd get your heads out of your asses long enough to stop being pompous one-dimensional pieces of a whole."You know what you must do.While he gives me the chance to do it.

[Joseph: Frozen Coliseum]
Joseph struggled against the two males holding him down, yelling all the while. His rage had him half-blind to everything, but he did hear Auron 'scold' him.
It wasn't until the Cura hit him, healing the gashes on his legs, that he started to calm a little. He was still raging, but he seemed to stop struggling...besides getting a hand out to ******** you!" He yelled at Auron, pointing at him. And then he arched himself as best he could to see Rera. "And ******** you too!"
And he pointed in the general direction of the Louis shards. <******** you and your stupid ******** voices in my head I know they're not mine why are you so ******** intent on being so ******** creepy!"
And with a relatively vile sneer he pointed at Ajora. "You know what? ******** you too! I miss my ******** eye!"
Well, he was still struggling by nature of not liking to be held down in a situation like this. And he was breathing heavily and still yelling in anger when he spoke. But he still seemed to have somewhat calmed down...for the moment, at least.
Telling people to go ******** themselves seemed to have been helpful.

[ Amy : Narnia / Louis's Heart ]
Justice, or rather, Vengeance, and Nemesis were in a stalemate, both going for Rachel's heart, neither able to move lest the other gain the upper hand. Vengeance looked toward her, an alarming look in his eyes, and somehow, she knew what was about to happen. Red lightning shot from the energy webbing around Rachel's heart, directly at where she was standing. John must've had the same realization, because he pulled her out of the way before she had a chance to react. The impact left a crater in a line from the point it hit to the edge of the colosseum.
"I suppose I should've expected that from you," Amy said, although she didn't make it clear if she was talking to John for saving her, or Vengeance for attacking her. Her guns faded away. Getting back on her feet, she held her right arm out, palm sideways, middle finger and thumb touching–
