[Dawn : Narnia : Train : Dining Car]

Dawn awoke with a loud gasp. Her hand placed lightly on her chest, where her heart was. Her eyes were wide as she looked around the room. Jenny was there. With Cloud, Nanaki, Sora. Everyone that she was expecting to see. Then Dawn heard Little Joe laughing in denial. The dancer snorted at his reaction then she glanced over to see Bobbi and her expression softened.

"Thank goodness," Dawn whispered loudly as a couple of tears formed in the corners of her eyes and rushed over and hugged the already tensed Bobbi, "Thank goodness you guys are out of there."

Dawn felt the emotion of the last few moments rush through her. One moment, she was standing next to a frozen Jenny. A rush of cold rushing through her very heart. Then she was gone with an unexpected warmth. Feeling nothing, but sadness and emotion that was not her own. She knew, knew it was Bobbi's emotions and her heart. Though she was safe with Sora and the others. All she could think of was her longest and closest friend's pain.

"I am so glad you are safe," Dawn whispered as she held Bobbi for dear life.

[Joe: Narnia: Train]

The male blinked up at the ceiling of the train, his eyes a little blurry from their extended closure. That's what he had to assume, considering he was laying on the floor of the lounge car, apparently having toppled over from the seat.

His left arm went over his eyes, rubbing a bit before just resting on them. And then his right hand, tightened into a fist, slammed into the floor of the train. Which did nothing but hurt his hand.

Well, it also gave him a little bit of something else to focus on instead of the rage at whatever it was he...they? Whatever it was that was experienced, it had lit another blaze of anger within him. He didn't like head games. He didn't like bullshit illusions like this. He didn't like someone ******** with him like this.
crackle...crack...

With his hand throbbing(along with general soreness and fatigue from fighting that didn't even happen, apparently, and yet his body still felt the strain), he finally shifted, sitting up and moving to lean his back against the seat he had once been sitting in.

His shoulders were squared, jaw locked into place for a moment. Then he started grinding his teeth for a few seconds before saying aloud "I'm so ******** done with this s**t." Then started taking a few calming breaths...which started making him feel a bit calmer, but also less strained, physically and magically.

[ So Many Characters : "Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Narnia anymore." : Train ]

There seemed to be a general chorus of groggy awakening throughout the train, from the engine to the caboose.

And then a general groaning in frustration, mixed with bits of joy at seeing the others alive.

"You're all okay! We couldn't find you anywhere!" Sora shouted, looking at Matthew and Joe, more concerned about their well-being than the fact that they seemed to have to start all over.

"How did you even survive the collapse?!" Anthony chimed in, looking just as thrilled to see Sora--though the Keyblader suddenly looked confused.

"Collapse? Uh, the only thing we went through was passing into the storm clouds and waking up with you guys all completely missing."

"It was all a lie?" Sayrike asked, her rhetorical tone exasperated. "You were even fighting with us for awhile!"

"Uh... I guess so," he said, scratching his head with a frown and a contemplative gaze.

As Joe(tomos) began laughing and Joe began cursing, Kyle sat up next to him, seeing... Louis. Well, the shard he recognized. He furrowed his brows in confusion, looking around--he saw no sight of Noelle where she should have been, back at the beginning (that much had been clear, really, from the rewinding vision), and so tried to reach out with his charms again.

No response. She was still missing from...

He looked outside the window, out into... the abyss?

Wait.

He looked back at his shard--as if needing a double-take--and the gears started turning, the voices around him growing slower for a brief second.

Was... were those two before...

He looked back out the window, drawing the power of Clarity from his Drive-Link with Mathy, trying to perceive, trying to really see.

The magic was different, but still... the same? He hadn't really looked at it before, hadn't even really had time to, but even then, it had had... an odd touch of familiarity. He had initially attributed it to being a layer of illusion, which wasn't wrong, but it wasn't necessarily the full picture. No, it was familiar for a different reason.

He hadn't seen that kind of weave days ago--he'd seen it hours ago.

"OH SON OF A WHORE WE'VE BEEN IN HIS HEART THE ENTIRE TIME," Kyle shouted, lifting his arms up to shake them at the air while strangling the image of (villain-)Louis he imagined hovering above him.

Well, he would have done that, except, his arms were still apparently numb from his Basilisk Break. The one that hadn't been real.

His face was so far beyond enraged that it became comical in its melodrama.

"AND I STILL CAN'T FEEL MY ARMS I SWEAR TO GOD I'M GONNA DRAGOON-KICK SOMEBODY'S JUGULAR," he yelled, his voice slowly devolving into barely-intelligible growling toward the end.

---

With the noise from the car behind him, Cloud's eyes snapped open (and his mouth shut) as he woke up--standing up and leaning against the door.

He frowned, looking down below, before walking into the Engine Room.

"You up?" he asked, loud enough that if Zell wasn't, he would be soon. "Land. We need to finish this."

---

Melisandre sat up quickly, almost as if pulled up by strings and looked around, staring into the dark abyss around her--seeing the train above and Nich nearby.

"That," she began, her expression deadpan. "was not in the briefing."

{Bobbi .:. Narnia .:. Forsaken Hall >> Train .:. Dining Car}

With everything that had just happened, Bobbi was still wound tighter than a spring, and she almost did something she would regret when she felt Dawn’s arms around her. Her instinct was to retaliate, to attack, because something was restraining her—but no, this was Dawn, not restraining, alive and warm and talking and hugging oh god she needed that hug—

With a broken sob, Bobbi wrenched around in the Dancer’s arms and caught Dawn up in a tight embrace, burying her face in her friend’s shoulder as she began crying. As she clung and cried, she heard Kyle shouting from the front of the train, but she was too caught up in relief to get angry. Maybe in a minute, but being happy Dawn was here, was back, was safe, that was infinitely more important to her.

{Zell .:. Train .:. Engine}

With a loud snore followed by two and a half grunts, Zell sat up and wiped drool off of his chin. He looked around muzzily for a moment, until Cloud’s words actually penetrated the haze of sleep.

"Whu?" came the somewhat less than intelligent reply. With a stretch and a loud yawn, Zell shook himself into full wakefulness, and took back control of the train. "Right. Land. Gotcha. I can do that."

The conductor frowned as he scanned the ground, looking for a place to land the train. He frowned, seeing the abyss filled to the brim with Heartless, and the shards of crystal that were floating around aimlessly. Luckily, he did spot an area big enough, and long enough, to hold the train—the bridge leading from the moat to the castle itself. He aimed the train for it, and started the descent. Once he was sure he was on the right course and wouldn’t miss, he reached over to a speaker and announced throughout the entire train:

"We’re coming in for a landing, people. We should touch down in less than a minute. Everyone stock up on potions and ethers, and get ready to kick some serious a**!"

Joe : Narnia? : Train?

Joe took a few moments to breath and calm himself as he heard the others come to terms with what was going on.

It was Kyle's rant that made it click. Joe had never been inside someone's heart before, so he had no idea what to expect. That certainly explained why everyone still felt like crap even though none of what they saw was real.

"So, we've been drawn into Louis' heart somehow..."
he mused, his inexperience with this making him curious.

"That explains the void of ice and darkness outside, and why those two are standing in front of us."
he continued, pointing to the two manifested shards of Louis. He didn't know where number three was, although he had a feeling one of the others did.

"So now what do we do? Purify what's inside him? Kill his inner demons? You all are the ones with experience with this."

[LevDani:~:Narnia:~:Forsaken Hall ->Train]

Leviathan grinned in triumph as each attack soared and struck true against Louis. This was all going according to the plan. Both Leviathan and Dani watched as the room burst into light as everyone turned translucent and disappear into the sky. Leviathan felt the assassin’s body lift as the effect started to take hold. “This better have worked damn it.” The serpent spoke.

Even though she was not in control, Dani witnessed everything and suddenly she could see everything that had happened before they were stuck in the castle. To her, everything was moving too fast and it took her a second to finally understand what had transpired.

Leviathan finally realized what was going on and growled in frustration. “DID THAT WELP NOT DIE?!” He shouted out loud as he moved the assassin back and forth through the train. He looked at all of the earthlings and sighed. “When I see that stupid WELP again he will be lucky if I don’t flood his innards with the sea.” Just thinking about it caused small drips of water to drop from the assassin’s fingertips.

“Leviathan!” Dani shouted in her mind to the summon, “The one thing that is still the same is that you are still in control and I am still in here! Don’t go too crazy! I think we need to go back again and deal with the castle as sad as that sounds.”

“It looks like we have to go back… again.” Leviathan growled as he turned to the castle. “This needs to be dealt with and that WELP needs to be dragged into the deepest part of the sea to die.”

[Kyla: Narnia: Train]
The Last Story : Sad
‘…why is everything so hot…?’

She woke on her cot, sitting up right where she had gone to be alone, to prepare- and now she opened her eyes, and they stung from the moisture found there between her eyelashes.

Rubbing them away she was caught off guard by the sudden return to ‘reality’. It left her numb, and speechless.

~Kyla! Are you ok?!~ her summon sounded not as panicked but definitely concerned. ~Something is wrong- I mean, everything is wrong but- you..~ Tyue couldn’t finish – but as the artist felt through her pockets, and found her ethers, she had to take a moment to think. The heat in her head muddled everything. Rising Kyla went to the window of the cabin room and looked out to oversee the truth around and below the train.
Everything snapped back to reality-

‘Where is the part of him I have?’

~ Resting... it took everything he had. I’m not sure he’ll surface for a while.~
Maybe it was the fever that slowed her reaction. Or rather- having been thrown back and forth from one emotional extreme to another- now her mind and heart was fed up, and now trying to numb itself, recoil into a protective shell that gave her freedom to move. Shame. She felt shame somehow for letting this get to her. What a crybaby she was, weeping over all the deaths- false ones it seemed now- Kyla realized that as the various voices of familiar people reached her ears when she exited her room.

No one died. Not yet- yet this didn't feel like relief should feel.

- and I crossed that bridge.
I crossed it and now I can never get that part of me back. It's gone.

She felt all that anguish for nothing. And all she could do was blame herself for being so weak. So easy to manipulate.
Memories replayed annoyed faces and voices when she got all upset at the first death on this mission.

Hysterical laughing came closer, shouting- Kyle- and Joe, both of them.. Bobbi’s hysterical crying-Dani's augmented voice, angry and demanding revenge- closer and closer till she finally entered the room.
When she stood there, her expression was vacant, absent, distant, not meeting any eyes that found her if they did. She felt oddly hollow somehow, with only the sting of embarrassment steeling her resolve to show absolutely nothing. Cloud might be proud, she thought.

A hand went to her face, her skin was burning, and she wiped away the fog in her eyes. Sure- the fight was an illusion, but she burned real mana in her veins, a lot of it, and now she was paying the price. And there was more to come. If she was to hone any feelings to charge her power, she’d clamp it down inside her until it burst at the right moment for later.

The only people she fixated her gaze on for a longer period of time, where the two opposing fragments of Louis’s heart- standing there, and then she came to understand what had the dragoon shouting with frustration. Which would only mean her shard must’ve been really drained, or else he’d be there, physically.
Giving them a nod to them if they looked her way, Kyla then turned around- everyone on that end was fine- but first she had to check the other train cars for Cloud, Noelle, Axel and Zell…. And General.

As the artist moved away from the various people silently, Kyla felt like a strange outsider in that moment. All shields were up, inside- and eventually out. Carbuncle did not oppose this, this time.
Anger.
Fear.
Joy.
Relief.
Sadness.
Anguish...
She'd embrace them all later. Later.
the artist kept saying to herself.
Later.
I'd fall apart again, alone, like I always did.
Right now they needed all of her for the fight.
She needed to be whatever she could scrape together for them here and now- and remember her heart later.
Or at least as long as she could.
She was only human after all.

[Joe: Narnia: Train; Lounge]

The monk, finished breathing, slowly stood up. The throbbing in his hand(after hitting it against the ground once more), along with the moment of breathing, gave him time to clear his head. Oh, he was still angry, still overwhelmed, but the throbbing of his hand gave him better focus on what was right in front of him, instead of what was getting bottled up inside of him.

"Alright, everyone. This sucks. Horribly. But it's not over yet, and we aren't out of the woods. Seems like we're running a marathon, but we're closer to it being over. The train should still be stocked like normal, so heal up with the potions and ethers. Take a moment to recuperate before we head back in." He spoke aloud, being in the lounge, with so many people around. However, he also said it through the charms for those that weren't there.

Kyle was a bit too far gone in his anger(not that Joe could blame him) for it to be good to send him calming thoughts. The leader assumed he'd calm down on his own in a bit, and would deal with it if it became too long. Instead, he focused on the other Joe.

"Honestly? I have no idea. This is way beyond anything I've come across. Both while in this world and all the media at home." The male shrugged at the end. He honestly wasn't sure. And unless someone did know, they'd definitely be going in blind.

Of course, there was one thing that was...fairly blatant that was bothering him.

"You." He pointed, very directly, at Dani. Well, her body, at least. "I'm going to assume that, unless Dani is suddenly dealing with a split-personality, you're Leviathan. You need to reel it back, and bring Dani back out. We've had enough trouble with summons taking control, and I'm not dealing with a pissed off water snake in the middle of all this bullshit." His voice was curt, some what cold and sounding more than a little angry thanks to his jaw being somewhat stiff as he tried not to grind his teeth.

Frankly, he was assuming a lot, and just running his mouth off. After all, how many summons had actually be in control when dealing with enemies? He didn't know. He just knew he didn't want to deal with the summons when he was already trying to deal with everything else, and he was pretty sure Dani didn't normally call everyone 'Whelps'. or threaten drownings.

[LevDani:~:Narnia:~:Train:~:Lounge]

“You would be right that this isn’t Dani,” Leviathan glared at Dani’s so called “Leader.” “She needed to step out for a bit and I had a plan that was going to help save her.”

At the comments Joe directed at him though… caused the summon to smirk. The water from the assassins body seemed to pulse and drip a little more. “Pissed off water snake eh?”Leviathan was close to moving forward to Joe but stopped when he thought about Dani’s relationship with him. “I would be REALLY careful with that. You are very lucky that I am more concerned with protecting my summoner and her happiness then possibly raining wounds onto you. Know this you tempest, I don’t trust you to protect what is mine. If anything happens to my little one no amount of air will save you.” With that Leviathan closed Dani’s physical eyes and swapped back with the assassin.

Dani felt a weird sensation as she was suddenly thrust back into the driver seat of her body. Considering the fact that her summon went on a little bit of a rampage she looked to Joe before looking down in embarrassment. “Sorry about that Joe,” Dani apologized. “Usually Leviathan is nice, or at least when I talk to him he is. He helps me when dealing with problems like enemies. He just doesn’t want them to harm me.” With that Dani made sure she had ethers and potions strapped to her and stopped the water dripping from her body.

[Amy : Narnia : Train : Lounge]

Amy was sitting next to Joseph. His laughter was very fitting to the situation, and summed up her thoughts on the matter as well. She looked over to Kyle's Louis shard, now in the form of Louis himself. She reached over and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, not even considering he might not be physically present.

"What the hell was that?" she demanded. Dani, or Leviathan, was responding to Joe, but Amy continued on as if their conversation wasn't taking place. "Will it happen again?" She shook him by the collar. "Will it happen again?" She stared at him, unblinking, jaw clinched, awaiting his answer.

[[Justice & Innocence : Narnia : Train - Lounge]]

The young man waited patiently for things to calm down, things were volatile enough without him opening his mouth, especially considering his unfortunate appearance. That was, until Amy grabbed him by the collar, pulling the t-shirt decorated in tribal tattoos in the form of a pair of wings taught as a noose.

The six foot tall male looked down on Amy, eyes sharp like knives as sparks shot between the halo of broken crystal floating over his head, "Yes, get angry with the previously amnesiac ally and demand answers, that's a great idea."

"Justice..." came a chiding call from the door where the boy walked in dressed in loose, veil like robes dyed reds, oranges, and yellows and sat himself up on the counter then frowned.

The one called Justice looked from the boy back to Amy, touching her wrist lightly, "I will gladly fill you in on what we know, but first... Let. Go."

{James : Narnia : Train : Lounge -> Dining Car}

James felt like he knew what it was like to experience a Code: Lyoko style return to the past as in a bright wash of light and visions of all that had happened since the train crashed flashed through his memory. He could feel it all again the pain and the anger and before he knew it he groggily opened his eyes to find they were back in the train. He was sitting exactly where he had been in the Lounge Car before they had gotten shot out of the sky. He kept his thoughts to himself as he listened to the hysteria, rage, confusion? All of the emotions that surrounded what they had gone through only to find that just like the ball none of it had been real. That they had been within his heart this entire time. He hadn’t actually killed anybody. The corsair looked around the room, seeing everyone who he had thought was dead Jenny, Leon, Auron, Axel, Sora…,all of them were fine. Which meant Dawn should be as well.

James stood up and took stock of how he felt. Physically he felt fine, though perhaps a bit tired. Emotionally, he wasn’t sure, too many feelings rushed through his head. Mana, not low but definitely not at peak condition either. He pulled an ether out of his pocket and downed it as he walked out of the Lounge Car right as Joe started getting an attitude towards Leviathan and headed to the Dining Car. On his way through the corridor he spotted Kyla walking towards the car he had just come from and gave her a small, though rather forced, reassuring smile before continuing on into the next car just as she moved on herself. There he saw Mizu and Dawn, hugging. An emotional sight and without thought, much as he would with any of the rest of the family when he had the opportunity he made his way over to the two of them and from the side wrapped his arms around both of them. Those two were his oldest friends who were still fighting and he was just glad that they were both still safe.

”I am so glad that you are still here Dawn,” He stated trying to fight back tears of his own. Whether the two of them let him into their hug or not, he didn’t care. To embrace them both felt really good and it was something that the corsair needed right now.

[Amy : Narnia : Train : Lounge]

Sarcasm wouldn't dissuade her from demanding answers. He owed them answers, and being cheeky about it wouldn't change that. She remained stone-faced.

Bobbi's Louis shard called from behind her, back from the dining car. The door was open, and everyone was in view of each other. "Justice" changed his tune at the behest of his counterpart.

A calm answer turns away wrath.

She let him go, and sunk back into her chair, but her eyes never left him. "Go on," she said. Some of the edge in her voice was gone, but she wasn't done being angry, and she was far from trusting him.

[[Justice & Innocence : Narnia : Train - Lounge]]

"Thank you," Justice corrected his collar and rubbed the skin beneath, "I'm not sure how much time we have but I'll explain what I can quickly. I'll start with when we arrived. After passing through the storm cloud, the first thing Innocence, the boy to thank for your wrist, and I noticed was a return of our memories... or at least some of them."

The boy with the halo leaned back against a chair and thought for a moment, "We, as you've already figured out for yourselves, are shards of Louis- pieces of his heart and fractured personality. I... am the representation of Louis' sense of justice, the righteous side of him that demands fairness be upheld with an iron fist."

"And I'm his Innocence, the part of him that sees the good in people, the impish trickster that jokes and plays games. The inner child, so-to-speak," the young man threw his arms up into the air cheerfully.

"There's one other as you know, the one currently residing in Kyla. He wore himself out in the last battle supporting you. He's known as Esteem. He is the embodiment of his self-esteem as well as his value in others well being. He's the quickest of us all to put himself in harms way to protect someone he cares about, as the value he sees in his own safety in comparison has always been skewed."

"Justice, TMI, skip to her question."

The boy with the halo sighed, "Long story short, I don't think you'll be falling into any more illusions any time soon."

"Too short," Innocence reprimanded him again while sticking his tongue out playfully but Justice didn't appear to care, he just held his heated glare on Amy.

{Bobbi, Nanaki .:. Narnia .:. Forsaken Hall >> Train .:. Dining Car}
{Yuffie .:. Narnia .:. Train .:. Lounge Car}
{Demyx .:. Narnia .:. Train .:. Sleeping Car}

Still with her face buried in Dawn’s shoulder, Bobbi freed an arm to wrap around Kuro’s waist when he joined in the hug. She didn’t want the moment to end, really. She just wanted to stand there with her oldest and closest friends, just basking in the fact that they were there and alive. She was starting to calm, wrapped up in the cocoon of love and relief as she was, so she was able to listen to the goings-on in the Lounge Car.

Underneath one of the tables, a loud snort followed by a faint jingle could be heard as Nanaki woke and shook his head to clear it of sleep.

"What is all of the yelling about?" he asked mildly, moving out from under the table so he could properly sit up and scratch at his ear with a hind foot. He soon got his answer, as he actually listened to the exclamations. Soon a voice he didn't recognize that called itself "Justice" chimed in as well, and provided some information. It was full of holes so far as he was concerned, but apparently the Earth children understood it, at least, so Nanaki attempted to piece events together from that.

Stretched out on one of the seats in the Lounge Car, the Great Ninja groaned and buried her head in a convenient pair of matching throw pillows, one for each ear. She was about to complain about the yelling—and the faint tremor in her sleeping space that Joe caused when he hit the floor—but when the words everyone was shouting finally penetrated, she held still and listened.

"So wait, what happened to you all in there?" she asked, wanting some clarification on the, well, everything.

Off in a room near the back of the Sleeping Car, Demyx slept on, blissfully oblivious to the rest of the world. Not even the shouting woke him. It wasn’t that his snoring drowned out the noise—he didn’t snore that loudly. He was simply a heavy sleeper.
