✦Charlotte✦ Witch of Nightmares DMA Head ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Charlotte smiled slightly over at Victoria before she heard Kain mention Mirai. Victoria glanced up as well as she heard her sister being mentioned before looking back down at the paper. "I am afraid I don't know the exact whereabouts of Mirai. The last time we communicated was back after the Machinist events occurred. She told me that she wouldn't be coming here anytime soon due to her condition at the time and she wanted to also try and train with Texas and also see where she fits... Ever since then, I have heard nothing from her," she explained. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

With Charlotte and Kain discussing about Mirai, Zoey would had to step aside from this. Mirai was a touchy subject for her. As she held Atticus's memories she held a deep regret to what she had "done" to Mirai. While Kain was a new person with his own criteria, it was Zoey who carried the burden of the past life. And so she would walk away from the three, as Vincent was also interested on Mirai's whereabouts. Walking by the chair. She sat by the other side, observing the adorable artist which was Victoria. She would place both hands over the table so that the bunny plush could observe there would be no hidden aces or incantations from her. As well as approaching with gentle moves. Smiling, she found herself relieved. She couldn't understand why, but observing Victoria, she felt... peace...hope. surprised rigin()/pre14/6905/th/pre/i/2011/110/1/1/__blinking_sakutaro___by_earlyday19-d3efrd0.png" class="user_img" alt="User Image" />

It came as no surprise that Mirai wanted to distance herself from the family and Kain knew that it was all his fault. "I see. Well, that won't do, now will it?" he asked out-loud in a cheerful tone. "This family has suffered a lot because of me and my actions, but now it is starting to become one yet again. Mirai is my precious little sister, I will not let her suffer and continue to drift away from us." Kain stated as Vincent looked on with a smug expression on his face. This was the brother he knew. The fierce and head-strong one, but there was also something different about him, something gentler. "Say, how about we search for the soul of that weapon of hers? Texas. We find him, we find Mirai." Vincent suggested. "That sounds, like it might work, but chances are, Mirai is able to conceal his soul as well." Kain stated.

The magic weapon would peek a little at the draw Victoria sketched so far, but with gentle motions and keeping a prudent distance not to put the doll in alert. After all, she knew she was a stranger in this house. But Victoria made her curious about her talents as an artist. surprised rigin()/pre14/6905/th/pre/i/2011/110/1/1/__blinking_sakutaro___by_earlyday19-d3efrd0.png" class="user_img" alt="User Image" />

"Mirai is the type that likes to avoid conflict. If she comes here and sees me or Kain, she will most likely leave. So why not just go to her. Force her to meet us?" he asked. To which Kain would reply with a slight tap on the boy's shoulder. "If we did something like that, then it would be pointless in the end. Mirai would only feel pressured and threatened. We do not want that. Charlotte's right, as painful as it may be, we will have to wait for Mirai to come to us. Though, whose to say if she will ever come back." "Brother, you're too soft." Vincent joked as he looked away and focused on Zoey. "So, are you going to explain why there is a pink-haired girl with you?" Vincent asked. Looking at Zoey, Kain would smile, "Well, she's my...I mean our...well. uh, Zoey, would you like to explain?" Kain didn't want to say the wrong thing, so he decided to let Zoey reveal her identity to them.

✦Charlotte✦ Witch of Nightmares DMA Head ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Charlotte sighed as Vincent seemed as hard headed as ever. She glanced over at Zoey as Vincent asked what she had been wondering as well. Victoria continued coloring for a few moments longer before staring at the picture she made. The bunny was busy eyeing Zoey until Victoria stood up and walked over to Kain, the doll jumping and latching on her back. She help up the picture then but didn't say anything. This was most likely due to her shy streak. On the sheet of paper was two figures drawn in crayon. Both had smily faces while the smaller figure had red hair and the larger one had black hair as well as a claw like arm. They both stood in a grassy field while the background was black with stars drawn in. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

Giggling as she saw Victoria doing her best to hang out with Kain during he shy streak. For what Zoey could see so far, despite her shyness, Victoria held a strong personality. Since even her shyness would not keep the best of her. And despite the lack of words, she would still go and show Kain her work. When Victoria went ahead and showed Kain the picture, Zoey couldn't help bot overheard his conversation with Vincent, which regarded her. To be fair, it was okay for them to be curious about her. After all, she was like an intruder or something. Despite herself introducing already, she was still a complete stranger to them. But what could she possibly say? As Kain asked her to explain the situation, she remained thoughtful as to her response. His sister? That would bring more questions. And mother would not like it. His girl - OF COURSE NOT!!! Zoey flustered in embarrassment after having such a stupid Idea. Then again, that wouldn't be that bad of an Idea. Smiling, Zoey stood from where she was and bowed once more towards the Hope Family. "My name is Zoey, I'm..."She paused briefly, having a second thought. But so far, it was the best solution she could come up with. "I'm Kain's... friend. We've met a few months ago, but it feels like it had been a lifetime. He told me countless stories about you people. Wonderful memories indeed. I was so amazed about it that I couldn't skip the chance to meet you people in person. I hope we can get along."While it wasn't complete a lie. Zoey thought that bringing such a complex topic like Kain's rebirth too soon into the table may disturb the mood. Perhaps later, they may sit and talk about it properly, but right now, it was Hope's Family reunion moment. She couldn't bring herself to alter this wonderful harmony. surprised rigin()/pre14/6905/th/pre/i/2011/110/1/1/__blinking_sakutaro___by_earlyday19-d3efrd0.png" class="user_img" alt="User Image" />

Looking at the picture, Kain would smile and reach down for it. "Is this supposed to be me and you?" he asked before kneeling down and placing his hand on her head. "I love it." Kain stated. He did not know how to act with Victoria seeing as he has been missing her entire life, but he would try and at least act like a big brother. "I think you have a real talent for drawing. Just like your big brother." Kain had already decided to not make the same mistake he did with Mirai, he would not turn his back on Victoria and support her. "One day the two of us will create the most beautiful drawing ever." he would say as he let out a little laugh. While this went on, Kain managed to hear Zoey's explanation, though he would have said something different. Vincent, on the other hand, did not believe that story, whatsoever. While her emotions seemed genuine, he found it hard to believe that, that was all there is between them. From the moment they arrived, Zoey and Kain seemed pretty close, "A friend? Hopefully that is all, I mean I'm sure Kain wouldn't leave things as they are now, with Shira, that is." Kain glanced at Vincent, "I've seen Shira and she seemed to have moved on with her life. So, isn't about time that I do the same? Our paths will never cross again." While he had been lying about seeing Shira, Kain was telling the truth about moving on with his life, a life without Shira, even if it is a lonely one.

As the situation was demanded a little more of delicacy, especially for Victoria. Zoey would step forward, practically in front of Vincent, yet having a thin line that let her few inches from breaking Vincent's personal space. "If you really want to know. I would have a word with you anytime... but it will be in private. And currently not in this room. Victoria san deserves this much. She has nothing to do with it and I rather not trouble her mind with this sort of situations."Zoey replied in a kind, yet strong tone towards Vincent. After all this topic was already touching subjects that were very delicate for her. The hope family, Kain's morality, and last but not least, Shira. She really liked how Charlotte handled the situation. As expected from her dear... no. From Kain's mother. Vincent however, was a little problematic in this situation. Most likely due to how loud he may be, even if it's not his intention, his attitude may harm Victoria. Even more if this conversation turned around Kain's impression towards the family, but more importantly, Victoria's personal impression of Kain. Zoey would not let that memory to be tainted. As much as she loved (Atticus Loved) his brother. She would have to draw a line every now and then. Establish the best action of course according to her criteria and part from the. She knew she could handle Vincent. More over since they weren't talking about entering a battlefield. And as such, if Vincent would agree to take this chatter elsewhere, she was sure Kain would trust her at least to handle Vincent for the time being. As such, she only gave a quick glance at Kain and smiled at him, to show him she was okay with this. Before turning towards Vincent. "So, Would you like to discuss this outside the house?"She asked, applying just a little bit of pressure on Vincent. But not even once disrespecting him. Rather, demanding strength and an attitude fitting for the Hope family. surprised rigin()/pre14/6905/th/pre/i/2011/110/1/1/__blinking_sakutaro___by_earlyday19-d3efrd0.png" class="user_img" alt="User Image" />

So, the girl would suggest that the two of them go outside and discuss the issue further. Vincent said or did nothing, only letting her talk until she was finished. Once she took a brief pause, Vincent would chime in. "Honestly, I couldn't care less about your true identity, nor the fact that you seem to be close to my brother." Vincent then leaned over, so that what he says would only be heard by Zoey, herself. "However, I find you....disturbing, to say the least. I don't know what your motive is or how you truly came to know brother, but what I do know is, if you do anything to him or attempt to disrupt my family in any way, I will show no mercy." Leaning back, Vincent would put on a smile. "But, since you've piqued my interest, I guess I could go outside and have a little talk." he added, in a somewhat cheery tone. With that, Vincent headed towards the door and waited outside. Watching the two have this brief exchange, Kain felt a little uneasy about Vincent knowing everything, but if it would help Zoey fit in better, he would let go. Hearing Charlotte's question, Kain turned to face her. "I would like nothing more than to let her know, to talk to her, but I can't. It is for the best that she think that I am still dead. She has moved on and most likely found another. If I appear now, I will only bring her misery and confusion." Kain clearly wanted to rush off towards Shira, but he knew that when those two are together, they only bring pain and hurt to one another. It was time for them both to move forwards and walk their own paths separately from the other.

Though honestly, his attitude sounded similar to her own. She looked at Kain again and sighed "Alright... it is your decision, Kain. While Zoey would walk outside the door she would shut it right behind her. "I do understand your reaction Vincent, but I would suggest a much subtler approach. Kids these days are more intelligent... and they are very sensitive with our behavior around them"Once the door was closed, Zoey felt remarkably more comfortable with Victoria's eyes out of the way as she felt she didn't had the pressure of taking care of showing a bad example for her. Folding her arms she would sit stand next to Vincent. "Very well, Kain and I, as you may also notice, are really close. Way closer than you could imagine...I dare to say. And by no means try to disrespect you. But. I strongly believe we hold a stronger bond than yours."She would turn to meet Vincent eye to eye as she spoke. After all, he had the proper age, and she strongly believed he was mature enough to take on the situation. Or at least give the boy a chance to try out how mature he really was. "Now, I don't intend to brag, nor do I want to take your place in Kain's or Atticus's Life. You are his brother. The Hope house is his family. But he also happens to be MY family."She commented. Taking brief pauses between points as she waited for her words to sink inside his mind. Letting them rest for a bit and process them. Before going any further. "As far as we've been together. I can tell you pretty well I know Kain or Atticus better than you ever would. At least at this point. But this. Is by no means me telling you I'm special. Or that I'm the one destined to be with Kain.
Vincent. I want you to be very objective with everything I'm saying so far."Zoey frowned at Vincent, this time she would speak with no remorse. And she will give Vincent the benefit of doubt. The way Vicent react would give Zoey enough information as to wether she'll treat Vincent like a man, or just another boy who think's smart enough to comprehend the world. This, was something she inherited from Atticus. "As far as I could dig in with my mother. The moment Atticus's died. She was told to do anything in her power to bring him back. Mother apparently was in a deep debt with this person. And so she performed some kind of ritual. To bring his soul back form the death, but she would have to offer something in exchange. Having nothing but the two children she was expecting. She offered the both of us in exchange for your brother's life. My brother, Kain, held the body that would store Atticus's strong soul. While I on the other hand would keep his memories.
It was strange at first. And I wouldn't understand how they managed to pull it off. But I actually believed I was Atticus... I saw all of his life until the moment of his death."Zoey kept watching Vincent with a neutral look. Just making sure he was processing everything she said so far. " The moment arrived in which I delivered the memories I've stored so that Kain would become Atticus. And so, this person you see speaking with charlotte was born. What became of me after that? Well... I already served my purpose. But for some reason Kain keeps looking at me like a sister. That makes me really happy. And I wish to remain by his side for as much as I can."Once the story was out she sighed in relief. It was nice to let all this out of her chest for once with someone that wasn't either Eva or Kain. None the less she would look at Vincent. "Look I don't want your pity. I don't want you to look at me like a sister... or even as Kain Sister. But what I do expect from you. Is that you take care of Your family, and Kain, for me. My family sacrificed too much for Your brother to be back ... don't make it go to waste. You Owe me this much."Once she said what she had to said, she smiled, and her expression became more relaxed. "I don't think there's anything else to say, I believe I've spoke my mind right now. But if you still have some questions I'll answer them if they are in my power to do so... if you have any regrets... hatred or unanswered questions to the Atticus you knew back then... I'll gladly listen to you... I owe you this much at least. But don't vent your frustration on Kain... He's got a second chance at life. Leave the past in the past... And start a new life with him. You owe your family that much." surprised rigin()/pre14/6905/th/pre/i/2011/110/1/1/__blinking_sakutaro___by_earlyday19-d3efrd0.png" class="user_img" alt="User Image" />

She dared to lecture him, she dared to say she knew Kain better than he ever could. While she may not call it bragging, Vincent couldn't help but think of it that way and Vincent hated people like that. With an annoyed sigh, Vincent chose to remain quiet and let Zoey continue on with her little explanation, though she had already lost his attention. Once she finished explaining her or rather her and Kain's story, Vincent just stared there. Who could blame him? Her story was so bizarre and complicated that even the smartest of people would have the hardest time piecing it all together. With yet another sigh, Vincent would finally speak up. "So let me get this straight: your mother, took in Atticus' soul and incubated it and using you and your unborn brother as pawns, she would bring back Atticus, in the form of Kain, but you housed his memories. Am I right so far?" Vincent asked before continuing on. "And then, when the time was right, you passed on the memories of my brother into the body of Kain, thus turning Kain into Atticus? However, that left you as some empty husk or something, that has no true memories of your own." This was what separated Vincent from his other siblings, of the three, Vincent was smarter. From a young age he understood and comprehended more than most adults, it is almost frightening how brilliant he can be at times. "Don't worry, I do not feel pity for you, you aren't worth it. Showing pity is a sign of weakness, both in will and of mind." Vincent was beginning to show traits of his father's more intimidating side as well as the results of spinning three months, training non-stop with Noira, he is able to control his emotions to the point that he seems almost heartless. "You owe me nothing, I owe my family nothing and I definitely don't owe you anything. I have already decided the path I will walk in life, even with brother back and a new sister. I will not deter from that path." With a smile on his face, Vincent seemed contempt with her story and had no problems. "I believe your story and I believe that your feelings for my brother are genuine, so I will accept you...for now." Vincent told her before walking back towards the house. "I'll be in your care......big sister." he muttered, jokingly. As the two of them finished their conversation outside, Kain and Charlotte would continue talking inside. "Truthfully, I'm scared." Kain admitted. "I was gone for so long. I left her alone, for so long. I'm afraid to see how much she has really changed. How much she has grown. I'm afraid to see her with another. Holding hangs with another, caring for another, loving another. I......." Kain went quiet then. "I'm afraid."
