Cat smirked, but there wasn't really anything amused about the expression. "He wants to force me to bare his offspring," offhandedly, simultaneously taking the outstretched hand. She released it again just as quickly. "And if I resist, I die. What, exactly, does the Doctor think you can do about it... Danny?"

Scarecrow had managed to escape; the pain driven by his burnt body was giving him a needed to boost to move with dexterity and speed through the alleys of the Daily Bugle. John needed to get back to his lab and make preparations for the changes in plan; Start Towers was going to be his target for the energy source he needed to power the Terror Machine. While Scarecrow went to visit there, he would mean to kill as much people as possible, to teach Tony Stark and War Machine to pay for their misdeeds. Scarecrow looked around a corner and darted forward, escaping from the Daily Bugle and heading south to his lab.

Danny looked at Black Cat, noting that Azazel had good taste in women. "We'll get back to that. There's something else Doctor Strange sent me for. Where's Spider-Man and Iron Man?"

Black Cat raised her eyebrow even further, but answered readily enough. "Spider-man's unconscious. I moved him somewhere safe. Iron Man was here, but I think he left some time ago."

Reaper watched the charred corpse take off, honestly surprised. Anyone he knew would have been crippled with pain or close to death, let alone running off like that. Well, he was gone now, no sense in chasing after him. He moved to the edge of the building, seemingly not noticing War Machine, and turned his attention back to the symbiotes below.

She noted his reaction to the brawling uglies and decided that they were far worse than she had originally estimated. "A pleasure" In the distance she heard the notable sound of a Harely chopper but something was off about the engine. She turned to her new comrade. "Sounds like somethings going down a little ways off...lets leave the uglies to duke it out and make sure no one got hit in the crossfire."

Riku tripped but only smirked under his symbiote as the spikes caught the ground and they held him up in the air. He saw Hybrid crash into Carnage now and only growled in anger "Who the hell are you!?" he asked as spikes began to shoot out from all over his body and make a cage around Carnage and Hybrid; to trap them.

Danny's eyes narrowed. "Are you sure he's safe? Think carefully."
Carnage was knocked out; the fight with Iron Man and War Machine, followed with this had done its damage, finally.
Hybrid crawled out of the rubble from the crater, saw the false Hybrid, and said, "We are Hybrid! And you have stolen some of us!"

Black Cat crossed her arms. This was why most superheroes annoyed the crap out of her... Although she still couldn't see anything 'super' about this guy. "No, I'm not sure; I was inside the Bugle at the time, and he wasn't. I'm just guessing, but seeing as his buddy is just sitting back and enjoying the show, I'd say it's a pretty good guess."

Black Cat glared. Heroes. Brown-nosing, irritating idiots who were constantly sticking their noses in where they didn't belong. Even suggesting that she would hurt her Spider... Well... Badly... was enough to set her teeth on edge. "I wasn't a villain," she snapped, "And I haven't reformed. I am a thief, plain and simple. And if you want the specifics on Spider-man, he got pretty banged up. He probably has a concussion, and he might have inhaled some of that fear-gas. With his immune system and enhanced healing abilities, he'll be fine by tomorrow." She raised both of her eyebrows. "Good enough for you?"

Danny nodded. "Your stance, as well as your honesty, is noted. But I'm not here to argue with you, or make you change your ways, although that might happen anyways if you're with me. I'm here to help you, for now. Is Spider-Man somewhere that he can recover in relative safety?"

Cat just smirked at the comment about her changing her ways naturally, just by behind around him, but didn't bother with an answer; no point in letting him know that Spider-man had been trying to lead by example for years. At his question she grew serious, hesitating, then sighed. "Relative safety... Probably not. I was carrying another person, as well, so travel was pretty awkward." She nodded toward the rooftop where she'd left the two men. "Up there."

Danny looked the building Black Cat pointed at, then at the symbiotes; it appeared that they were as busy with each other as they were going to get. "Alright, let's go see him." He mounted his bike again. "Are you web-swinging up, or riding with me?" As he said this, he was writing a note on a piece of paper with a pen, both of which he pulled out of his pocket; Ghost Rider would need to know what to do.

She looked skeptically from his bike to the top of the building, her train of thought fairly transparent. Well, Dr. Strange had to have sent him for a reason. She smirked. "I've never liked motorcycles," she purred, "Too slow." With that, she jumped some 20 feet into the air, then web-zipped up to the top of the building. Looking down at the tiny figure on the distant pavement, she put a hand on her hip. Astonish me, she thought.
