Lin decided to remain outside the nurse's door. Eventually someone had to come to start their shift.

((Ahem, sorry about that. A longboard is an extra long skateboard designed for carving, cruising, sliding, sidewalk surfing, BOMBING (coughwhatilovecough) down hills at 40+ mph, etc. Not generally used for tricks like a shortboard))

Neon didn't flinch, just looked the vampire right in the eyes. "I only plan on removing you if you are a stain to this world, a parasite to the natural order." She stood still as she was kissed, then evaporated in a wisp of smoke. She appeared behind Dymitri, hugging him around the waist. "Is that answer sound enough for you? I mean, I have bigger fish to fry."
Ophiuchus froze at what Valrie said. "Could you, ah, repeat that?"
Ialo walked by Lin in the corridor as she was waiting outside the nurse's office. "Is there something I can help you with?" he asked her politely.

Lin didn't have to wait long for someone to show up. She thought she recognized this individual from the forest, but she decided not to focus on that.
She bowed to the person respectfully. "Hello, sir. I am Lin Yin, an exchange student from Bai Ching. I am looking to create my class schedule. My natural abilities are attuned to medicinal and archery tasks. I was wishing to enroll in a couple classes about medicinal herbs and healing practices. Are there any such courses available?"

Valrie tilted her head a little confused. 'He doesn't know, Valrie.' Her mothers words flashed in her head. "Your my daddy." She said putting her arms down. "Oh, I am Valrie and I am four and a half." She said hoping giving her age may help out.

[[It looks like a surfboard. I used to longboard with my ex. Then he took my board and ran away after we broke up. >[ But its basically a smaller version of a surfboard with wheels. :'D]] He smirked again. "Technically, I am a parasite to the natural order." he said with a small chuckle. His face fell when she disappeared, but then his eyes closed and a softer smile appeared. He spun around in her arms, slightly touching the small of her back with his left hand and his right hand dug into her hair. "So you're saying I'm not big enough for you? Would you like me to chain you up so that I could prove myself worthy? Because if that's the case, then you're the worst case of playing hard-to-get I've ever seen."

"Kinky. I'll save the offer for later," Neon said happily. "But right now, I've got scheming to do, people to convert, and Master Riser's enemies to mercilessly slaughter." She pulled away from Dymetri and laughed. "Hard to get? Man, I was never playing in the first place."
"Four and a half....?" Ophiuchus thought for a moment, then remembered a night four and a half years ago. And honestly, he thought that his age and godly status would have made him sterile. He smiled softly. "So that's what happened after I left..." He was taking this surprisingly well so far. He hugged the little girl. "I'm happy to meet you."
Ialo bowed back. "Absolutely. We also encourage independent study, if you're interesting in that." There were several such books in the school library, and Ialo had read most of them at one point or another.

Finally Lin was getting somewhere! This person was already proving to be quite helpful.
She smiled softly at the person before her. "Thank you so much. I am very interested in independent study, as long as I can take regular classes as well. Part of my exchange experience is to learn of different cultures, and I would do that far better if I were in classes with other students of this institution."
"May I inquire as to your name and position here in Mystic Fountain School, sir?"

Valrie watched his reaction and smiled. "Yep." She hugged Ophiuchus back. The her ears made a slite jurk. "Mom." She turned her head to the doorway. "Are you sure it was a good thing that Myia died, because mama told me Myia was the one that made her a vampire." She said with her cheery tone lost.

"No problem, no problem," Ialo agreed. "Due to unusual circumstances, there is no Headmaster, but you could say I'm the one closest to that position. For the past few years, I've handled most of the paperwork that comes with running a school, and student schedules happen to fall right in there." He bowed again. "My name is Ialo Enlil."

Lin looked the more relieved than she had since she had arrived at the school. "Oh that is such wonderful news, sir Enlil. I was looking for the Headmaster before I came to this office and found myself in quite a confusing predicament. I am pleased to say that you are quickly relieving the confusion and frustration. I would like my schedule to reflect both my medicinal and archery skills. Can you recommend the classes that would best suite me? I understand if I need to take some tests before you place me. How many classes will I be allowed to enroll in addition to the independent study?"

Nex Remeo Valrie watched his reaction and smiled. "Yep." She hugged Ophiuchus back. The her ears made a slite jurk. "Mom." She turned her head to the doorway. "Are you sure it was a good thing that Myia died, because mama told me Myia was the one that made her a vampire." She said with her cheery tone lost. "It really doesn't matter," Ophiuchus said seriously. "There are ways to cure vampirism without the original vampire being alive. And even then, it's not the most terrible thing to live with." He held Valrie's hand, they were small compared to his. "Cheer up, your daddy can do anything he puts his mind too, and so can you." Parenting wasn't a first to Ophiuchus, he had children before. Just, not in over 1500 years.....
Ialo laughed, the full meaning of Lin's statement going right over his head. He had been up all night, and there were bags under his eyes. If there was one thing Ialo enjoyed more than being productive, it was sleeping. "I'd go for a general Healing class just to get a feel for the methods that are oft used in the West, and perhaps Ella can privately tutor you in herbs. Generally, students have six to eight classes, and you can do as much independent study as you'd like, provided your grades don't slip."
