ABOUT THESE WOLVES:
They possess half the traits of the common, native wolves that roam the lands, the remaining half is made up of something quite... foreign.They take after their father most strongly when it comes to their physical appearance, strengths, and weaknesses.

Appearance; they are physically bigger (fairly wide set, packed with muscle, stockier I'd say) fluffier, and have wider mouths/larger noses, and smaller eyes. Which consequently gives them a shorter snout.

Strengths; their bodies are made up of thick muscle and even thicker hides so it makes them very physically strong wolves that are harder to kill (can't really go for the neck for a kill due to the sheer amount of fur, so the belly is really your best shot.) They have superior scenting capabilities and a stronger biting force. Any sort of cold weather does not affect them whatsoever, it does, however invigorate them and bring them to the peak of their 'power' during the coldest seasons

Weaknesses; being so large and heavy, they can not run long distances for extended periods of time. They have poor eyesight due to their small eyes (and the amount of thick fur around their eyes which helps their vision even less.) As the seasons change and the weather gets warmer, they grow weaker, the hotter the season, the worse off they are- they would need to spend most of their time in some dark, heavily shaded areas to avoid the worst of the heat and be close to water for hydration and cooling down.

Breeding; being halfbloods, their offspring will possess a mere quarter of these foreign genetics. Whether or not they inherit excess fur is a 50% change, the likelihood of the genes being dominant (thus their current appearance and strengths/weakness,) is one out of a hundred chance, as the blood becomes further diluted, it'll be a rare occurrence if a pup crops up with excess fur or the full blown bulk seen above.
