Blue looked over at Sei and Stalker. "Hey you two." She said looking down at the letter, "Here. I don't think you guys have seen this." She handed the letter over to Sei before taking the map. She looked at it for a moment before looking at Wolfie. "I'm sure the riddles were put on the map for a reason." She replied with a nod, "Perhaps it has something to do with why there are so few Duos...... or just Duos in general." She thought about her Duos and how few she had. "Are there any more clues?"
Eros tilted his head at the pup ((Spud. I guess I should have been more specific)) before walking over. He smiled and wagged his tail. "If you just think to me I can understand you." He said, "I use telepathy to speak so if you want I can read your thoughts and we can speak that way." He figured that they pup either didn't know how to speak or couldn't. He knew several wolves that were like that.

Stalker nodded a greeting to Blue, "Sup?" She grinned, then inquisitively read the letter over Seiphira's shoulder, somewhat offened by Meskhenet. She half-listened to what Blue was saying while she read.
"Thanks!" Paine exclaimed happily, but not so loud as to disrupt anyone. "So, what is there to do around here? Meskhenet won't let me go into the woods anymore, since something happened," She glanced over at the orange egyptian wolf playfully.
Edit: ((Glad I didn't fall too far behind))
Meskhenet threw a smirk Paine's way and eyed the other wolves curiously. She didn't have bussiness here. Why was she staying? Silently, a high voice urged to to go and make some friends; the pup. She pushed it back down and continued observing.

Rosangela smiled widely, now excited by the idea. Her, on a real adventure! Kay would be so jealous! She giggled at the thought.
Watching even more humans and wolves enter, she smiled politely to them and nodded to confirm Eros' observation.
With a small gasp, Rosangela's eyes reached pleadingly to Sirius. "Oh, please come with me! I mean, us! Then we could talk more. I bet my owner would love to see you too. This activity is sure to draw her out soon enough. And... well, why wouldn't you come?" She paused slightly, thinking back on their conversation and her body drooped slightly. "Do you think we'll be going to the towns?" Suddenly, she doubted her need to follow the others also.

"A letter ey?" Seiphira read the letter although a bit confused still, but it didn't matter. Hopefully she would catch on. If not soon.
Nightflame shrugged. "I don't know. I mainly live in the woods since I'm a shy moonlit. I normally don't talk to others unless they talk to me."She lowered her ears a bit sad at herself for still being like this. "I mean, I'm alright around family and friends, but that's about all."

Paine's small face grew sympathetic, "What've you got to lose?" She yipped to encourage Nightflame, hoping that it would work, at least a little. "You seem really awesome to me" She smiled brightly.

Spud looked at Eros and cocked his head in the same direction, as puppies often did when looking at another. Not that it ever served much of a purpose, it was more of an awknowledgement. You can hear me? Spud whispered his thoughts to the other. He pondered if the other could read his thoughts 24/7 of it it was like morse code and messages being broadcast. Oh this is all so new! The little one yipped in Wolfie's arms.
Wolfie looked down at the pup in her arms and scratched behind his eas sympathetically. The little one has so much to learn and so much to discover and Wolfie so much to discover in him. Things would eventually come full circle. The room was beginning to fill with people and she knew, that perhaps it was time to get their act into gear! I hope this time we come back with more answers than last!
"I get the same feeling Blue." Wolfie smiled at each of the newcomers to the adventure. It was sure going to be quite the excursion this time. "I'm not sure why the Duos would be 'endangered' if we can even call them that, but I think that perhaps its a mystery thats solvable. I think I saw a couple more clues on that map Blue, but then again, the writting is just so scrawly I cant really tell whats a direction, whats a clue, and whats part of the map." She frowned. "I guess thats what happens when you have really old parchment paper in an ever-changing environment. I bet Uncle Edmund really toted this thing around with him."

Blue looked at Wolfie and nodded. She then looked back down at the map. "Well here's that one clue we never did get to after getting to that shack. 'Laughter you will hear/ Look not far, for it is near/ Take a breath, hold back your fear.' I remembered we were puzzling this clue over but we were called back before we solved it." She said looking at the map and some other clues, "I can't read this writing so I don't know if there are anymore clues....." She walked over to the couch and sat down. She began studying the map trying to decipher the writing.
Eros looked at Spud and nodded. "Yes I can hear you. You're thoughts are nice and clear." He said, "So what's your name? I'm Eros."

Seiphira listened to what the others were saying. "So the duos are almost extinct? That might explain why they haven't been around that much." She sighed for a second thinking of it, but eventually snapped out of it seeing if the others would come up with something. Seiph then watched Blue trying to think of what the riddle was supposed to mean. "Bah...I suck at riddles unless if I have a guide in front of me."
Nightflame looked up at Paine. "Well they could always reject me or make fun of me. Plus some say it's rude to butt into others conversations."
Samus walked in as she noticed other moonlits, but no anthros. She shrugged and kept silent observing the scenery hoping to figure out what was going on. Eventually she would try to help on the mission, but she was not one to speak much unless spoken to, and still she normally didn't say that much.

Stalker stiffened out of interest and shot an asking glance at Meshenet, smiling. She listened intently to what was going on, " 'Laughter you will hear' ...." She repeated, trying to embed it into her brain. "Maybe...maybe it has to do with....a playroom? Or it coul dbe laughter of malice..." She said, more to herself, though her voice got quieter, as she was just stabbing blindly.
Paine looked up at her owner and shook her head, then back to the female, "You gotta be confident in yourself!" She yipped, "And I don't see why someone wouldn't like you," She flashed Nightflame a grin, then her face grew thoughtful, "I'm not saying to butt into the conversation...just start one?" She shrugged.
Meskhenet felt Stalker's eyes on her and shook her head. "I know nothing of this." She said kindly and turned around to face her. "Though I should like to find out." Her eyes narrowed with determination, and she was scanning the room.

Something flickered in Tal's memory, and she leaned over Blue's shoulder to peer at the map. Sure enough, a squiggly something near illegible included in the riddle.
"Look here... it's 'laughter moving'. The big question was how laughter could move?" She leaned back and shook her head. "We never did figure that one out. Any ideas?" Though also there was the consideration that it seemed the clue was meant for the location they'd found it at. "Though we might have to go out to the shack to figure it out after all," she mused aloud.Sirius regarded Rosangela with bemusement. She wanted him to come? "No, no towns, I don't think. It seems that this mystery involves this property left to Wolfie by h er family." His ears flicked towards the various conversations. "And it has to do with those weird two-headed birds." His tone of mild disdain and revulsion was terribly ironic, though it didn't dawn on him how ridiculous he sounded calling two headed birds weird. He really didn't want to get involved... but... "I suppose I could trail along, if it would make you feel better," he muttered. He sounded put-upon, but appeared shyly appreciative of her interest. "I just don't want to be in the middle of this loud pack." He pinned his ears with a significant glance around the noisy room, growing only more so as yet more people and critters entered.Sabia, meanwhile, was certain she had the highest perch of all the others, and thus was clearly most important. She kept her chin high and her gaze proud as she surveyed her 'kingdom'. She allowed Talencia's touch as only her due. What was all this blather about riddles, though? She completely ignored the chatter of Moonlits of all ages, pups and adults alike, listening only to the discussion of the humans. They were the ones in charge, after all, besides herself. The arrogant little puppy said nothing, but listened haughtily with full inention of ordering the others around, if she got the chance, since she knew more than they did about what the humans intended.
Her plans were dashed, however, by the entrance of Auntie Tira and Auntie Morgana. Those two never let her have any fun. Slouching down from her chairarm perch, she tried to hide behind Talencia. If they saw her, they'd mother her to boredom!

"The laugh of a creature? Or maybe the Duos, since it seems that that's what this is about...?" She rejected that idea and went back to thinking, feeling silly for have bringing it up. She was trying to contribute, at least.
Meskhenet resisted her urge to silence a moonlit her age, looking so smug. Her mother was the queen of Egypt! Not that pup's.... She simply threw Paine a glance, notioning with her eyes to the purple pup. Her eyes said it all; this would be no friendly adventure if she had to be dealt with. Meskhenet contemplated leaving, though as two adults walked in, she took pleasue in the fact that the other stopped being so ruling. She tried to listen to what the owner's were saying, though, while calming herself.
Paine rolled her eyes, having seen the pup before Meskhenet had pointed her out. She nodded in understandment and pawed the air down to show that her pack-sister need not do anything rash, but giggled when a couple adult females walked in, knocking this pup off her high-horse. ~Edit: Though she did have to admit that the pup's coat was nice.~ "The tree's can laugh, too...." She put in silently, barely audible enough for Stalker to hear, who ruffled her ears.

Rosangela stuck her tongue out at the mention of duos. Stupid things... always nipping at her antennea. She sighed and shook her head slowly. "No... I don't want to force you to go. We could just follow behind a bit, not be in the middle. Maybe we could help if they need it." She looked almost longingly at the growing group then back away, down at Sirius' paws to keep her head from hanging completely, torn between her excitment of the event and her nervousness of all the strangers, and her desire to keep talking with her new friend. "We don't have to go if you don't want."
True to Rosangela's previous words, Corny was wandering by and after hearing all the chattering going on chose to pop her head in. She stood by the door a while, trying to silently orient herself with what all the others were talking about. "Duos endangered? Is that why they're so cranky?" She asked, only half-joking, thinking back on her own duos. Then, realizing she had actually spoken outloud, giggled bashfully and muttered a greeting.

Samus kept her air of mystery. She didn't say anything since she just was focused on the mission itself. If others wanted her they would bug her.
Seiphira made a pondering look. "Oh...I see. So we head to the shack? This might be pretty amusing afterall."
Nightflame looked up as she looked at the others. "Adventure," she whispered to herself while smiling. How nice it would be to go on an adventure, but she wasn't sure if she was invited to go.

((I'm wondering if I should add Naomi in here, because she was one of Nightflame's friends, but I think I already have enough in the room sweatdrop ))
Stalker looked around, confused, "Shack?" She asked dumbly, not knowing what everyone was talking about, being really new to the shop.
Paine yipped quietly at something she thought the blue wolf had said, but stayed watching everyone, like Meskhenet was doing.
Meskhenet stood proud and nodded at Paine. This was going to be fun, after all. Though she did have a wary feeling about the pup she'd seen. She decided to pad over to Paine, curling up against Stalker's thigh for the first time. Stalker stroked her gently.

Blue looked over her shoulder at Tal. "I think we were getting close to solving it on our last adventure." She said thinking, "If I remember correctly a couple of us thought it might be a river or a stream or something like that. I think there might be so body of water near the shack..... I believe one of Wolfie's wolves ran off and came back with wet paws." Hearing a familiar voice Blue turned around and spotted Corny walking in. "Hey Corny! Is Chrissy still giving you grief?" She asked thinking of her own grief giving Duo, Charon.
Gloriana wandered in and paused when she saw all of the humans and moonlits. Her wings fluttered for a moment as she pondered about leaving. However she heard her owner mention the word adventure and she decided to stay. An adventure and chance to go exploring would be worth behaving and sticking around. She noticed the other puppies but decided to go sit away from them all.
