((You character shouldn't be using a Gunblade then. If they are a old Japanese person, they probably have a great deal of pride for their past, so a old Katana would probably be more fitting character wise.))

((Yeah I was thinking that but then he'd have a complete lack of long distance so he'd need to carry a bow of sorts, though I suppose that could work... Hmm Thanks you shall go on the list of nessness aswell.))

((You do realize a normal arrow can pierce through plate mail. If your character is ingenueative enough he can lace arrow heads with a explosive solution))

((Go for it then. I only suggested the lacing because just because he's old doesn't mean he doesn't use some sort of technology. But if he's stickler for the old ways, a normal bow may work.))
