Well these are for a fairly light-hearted edition, so I aside from the fact that it's easier to draw the slobs (or at least I get less detail intensive), in the end the stubbly boy-senshi won out for inclusion.
I've seen all of these at various convention, including the sugar-infused larval fanthings.

I almost feel like I should have made boy-senshi a little more unattractively bad, but I kinda like the slight gender-ambiguity this has.

You pretty much nailed it. I wish I could recall where I saw this one picture a couple days ago that was pretty much exactly your boy-senshi there. xd

So what happens when you can't sleep and have a looming deadline that doesn't even matter?

Marty's got me drawing for a Night Life Twitter Mystery. This is would be the gentleman ostensibly doing all the tweeting, Detective Phil Escobar. Shaping up to be pretty spiffy so far. C:

There's an interesting clay like quality to the drawing, especially in miniature on Twitter.

I was wondering if any one had tip for making a costume for cosplay. I know of two people off line that make costume (one's my friend, the other is my brothers co-worker). It just that next year, I want to go to comic con in a cosplay out fit. But I want to try and make the outfit myself. I figured in a years time, I might have something decent made.
anyways, I have a few questions about that I would need for a few. Like what type of material should I get to make the out fit? here the idea I have to go as. I think i'll pick 3 of them as the ones to go as at the con.

Madman

Grendel On this one, What is the type of material I would need to by for that one way viewing fabric?(were you can see out on one side, but people can't see inside. I would need that kind of stuff for the mask's eyes.

Freakzoid

Viewtiful Joe Wouldn't know what to do to make that helmet. any ideas?

Invincible How would I make the eye covers for the mask?

The least painful way to do full body suits like Madman or Grendel is to invest in a zentai body costume and then build the costume around that. This is what I used for the Black Bolt and Squirrel Girl costumes I've made in the past. Some of them even come with hoods that you can see through on the inside.

Their primary uses are cosplay and fetish gear, so try not to get one with a visible crotch zipper.

Helmets like Viewtiful Joe's can get expensive. If you're putting your own together, maybe start with a bicycle helmet and build up from there?

You'd want to avoid bicycle helmets. They're the wrong shape and size. Try working with something like scooter helmets or open faced motorcycle helmets.

You can get them for as low as $20 (they're generally around $30-$35, so it's not hugely expensive).

For Invincible, I'd say pop the lenses out of a cheap pair of raver or motorcycle goggles.

$12. Just glue them directly to the mask. Will probably take some practice.

I see. with that Zentai stuff. is it one size fits all, or are there select sizes?

They generally come in a small/medium/large range. In my experience, you provide the measurements when you buy and they send you the correct size.

They're surprisingly comfortable and not too overhot, at least until you start layering things over them like fur-lined legwarmers...

Okay then. So is there a site I can order one for just super hero outfits? I'd just like to avoid accidentally buying one with a butt/crouch zipper.
