I dunno, artists like Girl Talk manage to form some pretty awesome dissonance in their work. But then, that's ALL sampling, which is essentially the musical form of a collage.

Cabron the Swan Medeus Cabron the Swan I hate the rap songs that distort a sample just enough to avoid getting sued and then ride somebody else's catchy hook to commercial success. Bugs the s**t out of me to think they can get away with it. You're not a musician if you put lame-a** rhyming couplets to someone else's music, you're a kid with a thesaurus.

There's a difference between combining samples to create a new sound and reusing a song because you can't come up with your own chorus. Like this. Doubly off-putting because Elton John gives so much of his income to charity.

Doubly off-putting because Elton John gives so much of his income to charity. Not only could he not come up with his own melody, he had to ******** up the meaning of the original song to become an Apology for cheating on his girlfriend!? If I was his Ex, and he gave me this song to apologize, I'd start playing This song. Fuggin Jason Derulo... stare

Well I ruined my moms day by cleaning the entire kitchen when she wanted the front room cleaned. Told her one week ago that I have a concert in 2 weeks and she took the wrong day off of work for it. And dealing with her brat of a son in keeping him occupied all day and forgetting to do the page of homework he had. I am so sorry.
