You mean you wouldn't let me drive? Red knew that it ws probably a safe bet, since she wasn't the worlds best driver.

V laughed. "Maybe a different vehicle, sure. Not this baby." He pulled down another street and looked around. He saw a house that fit Shaylene's discription loosely. "Is that it?"

Shaylene looked at the house and then nodded. Si. She smothered a yawn with the back of her hand and let the driving topic drop. As they drew closer to her home, she unbuckled her seatbelt.

He pulled up in front of her house. "Here we are." He pointed out the obvious as he shifted akwardly in his seat.

Shaylene smiled and opened the car door. Well, it was nice seeing you again. As she got out of the car, she felt a strange longing not to leave him, but knew she had to. Turning around, Red tugged on a strand of blonde hair and asked, Do you have plans for tomorrow?

Shaylene nodded and then forced back a yawn. Well, goodnight. Mayhap I'll run into you tomorrow? With that she closed the door and started up the front steps, resisting the urge to turn around and kiss Vitae. That'd be weird for me to do. Shaylene thought as she unlocked her front door.

Before she could turn the key V was there. "Slap me if you think I'm being stupid." He said, and quickly kissed her hard on the lips before she could protest, taking her face in his hands.

Shaylene froze and then her hands inched into his hair, and she kissed him back. I like stupid. She murmured against his lips, playfully slapping his cheek before kissing him again.

Shaylene slipped her arms around his neck, standing on tip toe to do so. She was a bit taken aback when his voice was in her mind, and she tilted her head back to look at him. How'd you do that? She questioned.

V shrugged his hands now resting on her waist. "I've been able to do it since I lost control of the lot of it." He said refering to his ability to read people's minds.

Oh. Was all she said. Her blue eyes gazed up at Vitae and she smiled, not knowing what to do now. Does she tell him goodnight and go on her way, or does she invite him in? Red wasn't sure.

V smiled. "That would be up to you, little Love." He looked down at her. "Either way, I'll see you tomorrow." He had a strangely serious look on his face. He would see her tomorrow. He'd move everything else to the side if he had to.
