Shar was slightly put off by getting water in his face, but a quick shake and a brief crimson flame dispatched the water to vapor. The flames could only last in short stints, thus why Shar hardly used them, save for small annoyances. Shar brought the Longmace back and planted the tail end in the ground, using it as a springboard as he launched himself upwards. He thrust his arm back as six spindly tendrils pulled from his back and were joined by a thin membrane of translucent white light. The Longmace darted up, lacking its spike head and was quickly throws at Psy, twirling towards him as if to slam him down into the ground.

EDIT: Psy's attack on Torment would do less than crap.

((If you've played Soul Calibur II...yeah, I know. Killik. Or however you spell it. In the fight where Shar was absorbed into Tor, my best friend used this exact move, followed by what I'll likely do next as well. I've played Shar 4 times now. I'm still getting used to him >.< His main tactic now that he's one with Torment I'm leaving out for Psy's benefit. I don't want to pwn him that hard.))

As soon as Psy touched the staff it exploded in a flurry of white light and soul energies. The force would be similar to any normal explosion one might encounter, at least from a magical source. As soon as the blast errupted a ball of viscous white energy formed in Shar's hand, quickly lengthening to the height of a small spear. He twiriled it before him (basically the general direction of the rods), leaving a white trails in its wake that linked up to the next half of the staff that came 'round in an attempt to deflect the rods with a shield of soul energies.

Shar smirked as he returned to the brilliant pinpoint of crimson light, the smile fading into nothingness. Torment was left to stride over to Psy, "Pity." With a wave of his hand the man was given slight healing and transported to a location chosen from the man's own unconscious mind, as if dreaming of a place and your physical form teleporting there of its own will. Torment, meanwhile, needed to get home to his wife. She worried when he was away and could, by now, tell when he left an illusion.
