khaostic I know!!! (about the rolling R's thing, by the way) I'm so jealous, I wish I could do that too...all my friends make fun of me because I'm the only one that can't roll R's...stubborn tongue... stare *laughs and pionts at khao-chan* no I'm kidding. one of my friends can roll her r's for a very long time eek ----------- I've thought of that too..like maybe once or twice only, but put it in the back of my mind

khaostic I would love to learn Latin. It's like the root of so many languages. It would certainly help as a vocabulary enricher for English...but yeah, Latin itself is a dead language even if it is a building block language, so no one really teaches it.... and since we're on the subjet, I just had a thought: why are Latino countries called LATINo when they speak Spanish? Because they speak Spanish, but they're not ACTUALLY Spanish. And Spanish is a Latin-based language. That'd be like Americans calling themselves English. xD
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rolling r's. I can do it when I think about it. But, not spur of the moment. I've had to practice, otherwise, you can't tell my "but"s from my "dog"s in Spanish. xD
Oh yay, I've been answered! I was wondering about that...
Don't worry, Kuu-chan, you'll get it back. It's kind of like how my friend who has absolutely no Korean blood knows more Korean food names than I do...and she's better at using chopsticks...I am a sad Asian. Disgraceful.
I love Asian food, it's just that when I was younger I never tried learning how to use chopsticks because I thought it was too hard, but now, I really like eating with chopsticks, it's just that I'm not the best at it. So I use them more now so I can hopefully get better... sweatdrop
My friend taught me how to use chopsticks in English class in 7th grade ^^ I'm still not sure if I'm holding them exactly right, but I can eat with them just as comfortably as eating with a fork.
