✿ ❀ Isis had laughed at the notion before, but as Leon smirked and commented that he couldn't deny he'd enjoy seeing her in a shorter yukata, Isis couldn't help but blush a bit at the notion. It didn't quite help when she fell on top of Leon either, blushing even more out of embarrassment and scrambling to her feet as he dismissed her apology and insisted that really it was his own fault. She offered to help him as well but was handed the arcanine, which she supposed did help in a sense, because then his hands were free to get himself up. Though, Leon didn't exactly use his hands, rather jumped right up to his feet, an impressive display.
As Leon dusted himself off, Isis suggested that they check back up on Dumuzi and return his Diancie, after all Isis couldn't just leave him like this, she needed to go set things straight and give a proper goodbye. Leon agreed, beginning to lead the way back onto the dance floor and over to where Du and Kai were dancing. Just in time too, since they were just about finished. Once the dance ended, Leon handed over the Diancie and apologized for earlier, and asked what gender Du preferred to be referred as, hoping it wasn't an awkward question since he didn't want to make any assumptions. Honestly, Isis was curious as well. Dumuzi seemed happy to get her plush back, though after that it was a bit awkward. Dumuzi suggested that they just address them with whatever pronouns they felt comfortable with, but Isis shook her head. "But we're asking what you feel comfortable with Dumuzi.... That's what's important." Isis insisted with a frown, which only grew deeper as Dumuzi apologized and hoped that all of this hadn't ruined their date, as well as hoping that they could stay in touch. He admitted that he actually liked being referred to as a girl, and so he just hadn't corrected them. When Dumuzi asked if he seemed pretty weird, Isis couldn't contain herself any more, approaching Dumuzi and giving him a hug. "Oh sweetie, no.... Far from it...." Isis snuggled Du in her arms reassuringly. "Of course we'll keep in touch, and if you want me to refer to you as a girl, then that's what I'll do." Isis insisted. "And don't worry about our date. It wasn't ruined. I'll admit that I wished things had gone a bit smoother but there's not much we can do about that now, and I think using Hinata at this point would be rather extreme and unnecessary." Isis suggested, letting go of Du with a chuckle and a wink at the secretive mentioning of her Celebi. "However... I think I have kept Leon waiting long enough for some alone time with me, so I think we should probably go our separate ways for now. You better call me for your first contest though! There's no way I'm missing that." Isis giggled. ✿ ❀

After an abysmal one ticket out of the wheel, Alex's dreams of winning a nice pair of socks with his tickets went down the tubes. Another dream quickly took its place, though: junk food. What if he could get tons of chocolate and candy and chips and snacks with his tickets?!
Devolving into the crazy stage of his desire, Alex entered the zone. In an unbelievably (for him anyways) determined set of his mind he managed to creep up to an almost high score in the arcade.
Predictably, Alex's focus dropped off a sheer cliff, evidenced by his shitty single balloon popped with darts. His consolation prize was a single ticket, which fueled his desire to earn more and more for some great prizes.
Alex pretty understandibly was having difficulty concentrating and instead of going for a fish during the fishing game he actually went for an inanimant object. He didn't know what the quick claw was when he fished it out, but it looked pretty neat, ivory carved into a sharp curve, so he pocketed it for now.

Although the Wailmer Challenge had proved to be a flop Huey was able to redeem himself at Ring Toss, and was even able to cross an achievement off his personal list at the same time. All three rings around three different bottles won him ten tickets and the inability to stop smiling for several minutes after. So far so good!

Natalia couldn't help it. Even though Aiden now knew a small portion about her past life as Natalia Jones, she still couldn't face Isis. As soon as the brunette saw Isis making her way over, Natalia instinctively bolted back towards the docks, telling Aiden there was a change of plans. They had to get off this island, go to any island other than this one. Any island at all, Natalia didn't care as long as it wasn't this one. She found Flora at the ring toss, trying once again to land three rings on the spokes, but she only managed to land two and earn five tickets before Natalia scooped her up, stashed the tickets, and continued heading towards the docks, checking behind her every once in a while to make sure Aiden was nearby and see if Isis was still following. It appeared that once Isis had tripped and fallen, she hadn't continued to pursue, but Natalia wasn't going to slow down until they'd escaped to another island.
She moved to the docks with Flora and got on the first boat she saw as soon as Aiden was with her, watching the doors nervously, hoping, praying Isis wasn't going to come through them, finally relaxing once the doors closed and they were off sailing towards a new island.

She insisted that it was just fine, however, saying that the twins had been cute and friendly and that she understood what he’d been trying to do. The blonde could tell that she wanted to say more, but simply gave her a small smile and a nod in understanding. He decided it was best to not press the issue and to just move on, and suggested that now that they had their lemonades they could head up to the cape and check out what was there. His suspicions were well confirmed as Natalia said that it sounded like a party going on, the music getting louder as they got closer to the source. The music swelled into a harmonious crescendo as they approached the site, and he could see a sectioned off part of the cape strewn up with Tanabata lights and décor. A large stage sat in the center, and he could see people singing and dancing amongst themselves and even with their Pokemon. One girl in particular was dancing with a Feraligatr as her partner, and another girl was grooving along to the music with a stuffed Arcanine. Aiden smiled brightly at the sight, and was prepared to ask Natalia to dance with him if they were going to join in on the party. However, before he could, he noticed her looking down at the gathering with a look of abject horror in his eyes, and she was quickly suggesting that they have a change of plans. ” Natalia? What’s wrong?” he asked, wondering why she was freaking out all of the sudden. He followed her gaze to see what the cause of her panic was, and realized the exact reason when he recognized a certain blonde girl among the other party patrons. Wait a second, wasn’t that… ” Isis…?” Aiden inquired softly, blinking in surprise and mild confusion. Flashbacks of what happened back in Union Cave when Isis had bumped into them there popped up in his head, and he realized that coming here hadn’t been the best idea. Of course, with tourists coming in from all over to Tanabata, he should’ve expected that they would run into her at some point in time. Next thing he knew, Isis was handing her Arcanine plush over to a dark-haired male nearby, and Natalia grabbed his arm and told him that they needed to go as the blonde girl started running towards them. ” A-Ah, okay!” he exclaimed, moving quickly to run with her as they booked the hell out of dodge towards the docks. He felt bad for running away from Isis like this, but after witnessing what happened last time back in Union Cave, he knew that it wasn’t safe to approach her with Natalia by his side. He would have to text her sometime later to apologize, but for now he focused on getting back to the docks with Natalia. He glanced back over his shoulder, just in time to see Isis trip over her own yukata and fall onto the beach, which was enough for her to give up the pursuit it seemed. He winced at that, hoping that she was alright as he continued following after Natalia. Getting back into town, they quickly went to go fetch their Pokemon. He found Aria at one of the ring toss stations, performing a celebratory dance as she managed to get all three rings around a bottle each.” Aiden! Glad to see you’re back, I just won us ten more tickets! How did your little escapade go?”she chimed as she noticed him, smiling as she turned to face him. ” That’s great, Aria~ But in all seriousness, we need to go… I’ll explain later, alright?” he said hastily, glancing over to see Natalia and Flora heading for port. Aria frowned, tilting her head curiously at him. What in the world was going on? Nevertheless, the Delphox didn’t say anything else, following along with Aiden as they ran over to join their company at the docks. Once there, they stepped on board the next Seagallop ship, getting themselves situated quickly in the comfy cabin. Aiden noticed Natalia’s unease as she stared at the ship’s doors, as if she was expecting Isis to come running on board the boat with them. He gently placed a hand on her arm to comfort her, just as the doors finally closed and they set off for a new island.✦ ✦

Leon wasn't quite sure why he apologized. It wasn't like he had gone too far, and it's not like it was their fault for how things turned out. He merely gave a shrug after Du took her plush back. When the boy told them to refer to him whatever they felt comfortable with, Leon shook his head, but Isis took the words right out of his mouth. This wasn't about them, it was about Du, and whether they wanted to be treated as a boy, or a girl, or if it even really mattered to them. "Well, to be honest, I'd rather refer to you as a girl if you really don't mind so much. Otherwise all that joking around earlier just becomes... kind of awkward. Heh." Leon responded, though he wouldn't mind referring to Dumuzi as whatever she liked most.
"Gra ra raaaa" Kai grunted from behind Dumuzi, resting his jaw lightly on her head again. He didn't care much that his pretty little friend was actually a boy; He could tell this whole time, but thought nothing of it. Dumuzi was nice, after all, and had given him belly rubbings and attention and even danced with him.
Leon chuckled a bit at Kai's input. "Yeah. Something so small isn't going to change what we think of you. I think Kai agrees, too." the raven haired male commented. Isis was really on a roll with all the things to say. He didn't want the conversation to be repetitive. "Feel free to contact me anytime. Just keep the sauciness to a bare minimum." he smirked, having slipped in a bit of a tease in there. "Yeah, the date wasn't ruined. Don't worry about that." he added after Isis mentioned it. The lifeguard blinked, smiling and blushing a bit as Isis mentioned getting back to their date. That would be great around now. There was still some other stuff he wanted to do with Isis, and the festival would be ending soon. Kai suddenly moved to wrap his scaley arms around Dumuzi, giving her a hug with a friendly growl. He was kinda sad that he'd be leaving his new friend, but it sounded like they'd meet again. "Yeah! Anyways, we'll both be happy to go see you at your first contest!" Leon smiled, chuckling as Kai gave Du a hug and then released her.
