Ialo tumbled across the floor, yes, but got right back up. A caustic grin was on his face as he heard Kai's voice. He could see him too, a brilliant silver aura. God bless him, and his brilliant timing. He'd definitely need Kai's help soon enough.

"Steam," Ialo noted happily. "Oh, my dear friend Kai..." His voice was nothing if not downright dripping with hatred for Krauser, and battle-lust. "This poor delusional geezer thinks he can lock me away, and take care of Daddy's treasure better then I can!" The steam began to rise towards the ceiling, dark and thick, forming miniature thunderclouds. The black fire died out, and was replaced wih black lightning flickering from ceiling panel to ceiling panel.

"He doesn't know anything about me, does he Kai?" Ialo asked scathingly, staring right through the steam at Krauser.

And it was at this point that Alec thought he and Luna should make a tactical retreat. While still utilizing Twilight, he could see everything clear as day through the haze of fog. Luna was right in front of him, and as the flames died down, Alec came up and grabbed her from behind. He shouted loud enough for her to hear him over the commotion in the room. "We need to get outta here. Hang on, this is gonna feel weird." And with that, Alec closed his eyes and envisioned himself and Luna in Enlil Corp's lobby.

Two seconds later, a bright flash of light was seen in the room Ialo was in, and the two of them were instantly teleported from the room to directly in front of the main desk. The red emergency lights were still on, and everything was bathed in their off-red glow. Once Alec and Luna were safely in one piece, Alec let her go, fully expecting her to feel sick after going through a teleportation sequence that quickly. That kind of transportation was something that people had to get used to, and some never fully did.

"He doesn't know you my friend, Now what do you say we go and roll some heads?" Kai asked chuckling jumping from ceiling to wall wall to floor right next to Ialo. "I'm Alive believe it or not Ialo, no thanks to anyone but I'm here." He grasped Ialo's shoulder happily. "It's good to see you again after awhile I started missing you and the god forsaken school." With that he looked at Krauser smirking "... How many risers are there? You'd think he'd get tiered of seeing himself."

Ialo reached up and patted Kai's hand. "We'll have to catch up later, I'm sure you've wonderful stories - but if you don't mind, this is my fight right now." He sized up Krauser. The old man was a hulking mass of muscle - he wasn't. But Krauser couldn't fly, and he wasn't a dragon.

"But you're only-"
"I am a
quarter dragon, thankyouvery much, you pesky hu-"
"SHUT. UP."

Okay, Ialo wasn't a full dragon. But he still had a dragon form, and he still had wings, and he still had magic, and he still had a damned good reason for carving out Krauser's guts and eating them from a bowl. And that was reason enough.

Ialo charged at Krauser again, a short, heavy black sword quietly materializing in his grip.

"Ah yes the earthly honor system I forgot about that." He chuckled stepping back watching the battle take place. "Oh and don't die or we won't be able to catch up for awhile" he yelled suddenly before walking all the way to the wall ignoring the steam and chaos of the room. Sheathing his sword her lead up against the wall his wings folding against his back like a cape as he watched.

*KACHNK*
The blade pierced Krauser's stomach. He had opted to stand in place and take Ialo's attack head on, and he now stood impaled. Blood dribbled out in several places, but as Ialo looked up, the hulking old man merely grinned.
With a flash he had the boy's wrist, god what strength he had! Joints began to pop and move under the vice-like grip, and it became readily clear that Krauser planned on drawing out the pain before finally snapping Ialo's arm like a twig.
"You idiot. You god damned worthless idiot! To think I expected to make a Bio-Weapon out of you, you're worthless! Did you honestly expect that a sword would end my life? I've mastered every aspect of biological science, including advanced cellular reconstruction. I'm immortal you little freak, now bow!"
There was a snapping sound, a rather gruesome one at that, as Krauser sent Ialo to his knees.

Ialo screamed as he was driven to his knees, his arm now broken (to put it mildly). His shoulder must have been dislocated as well. Gasping in pain, he looked up at Krauser. A smile began to spread across his face, and the gasping turned into sick laughter. God damn, it hurt! And he told Kai to let him have his battle, he couldn't very well turn around and ask for a healing spell, now could he? That wasn't how a dragon did business.

"Immortal? IMMORTAL?!" Ialo roared. "You're NOTHING!" His good arm, his right arm, was still on the hilt of the black sword, and he wrenched it out, more of Krauser's blood spilling onto the floor. That made Ialo feel a bit better, even if Krauser would heal right up soon enough. The black sword dissolved - and so did Ialo, vapor in a room filled with steam. Steam, that turned black as night and seemed to be made up entirely of dark magic.

Ialo's voice echoed around the room, with no distinguishable source. He was furious, and it was clear in his voice that the Dragon was talking. "A dragon doesn't bow, Krauser. He is king of his terrain!" The rest was unsaid, but obviously implied. And you've challenged me right in my element.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 16, 2009 5:11 pm

Krauser merely smirked as he began to clap over-enthusiastically. "And just who's terrain are we on boy? MINE!"
He slammed a vicious elbow into the wall to his left, creating a gaping hole of crumbling cement. The hole led directly outside, and a cold and vicious wind began to flood the room, dissipating the steam.
"Learn your place, I've been in heated combat decades before your parents were even born!"
He bolted across the room in a flash, his musclebound legs hauling his immense bulk quite quickly. Without hesitation, he slammed his fist through a monitor on the wall.
Red lights began to flash. Sirens sounded.
"And now, meet your better."

A massive cylinder slid in from a hatch in the floor. As the steel panels began to retract and break off, a familiar form could be seen floating in the green fluid.

With the steam gone, Ialo's cover was gone, but he had accomplished his goal. His arm was now healed, although the echoes of pain were still fresh. He groaned, watching the cylinder. Really. Really? Was it really so hard for him to have ONE easy battle in life? ONE? Was that too much to ask? Huh?

Ialo paced backwards, towards the hole to the outside. He hated fighting indoors. Too many things in his way.

Kai sighed sitting up from his rather comfortable wall. the rush of cold air hitting his face blowing through his hair. "Ialo, Would you like me to take care of this new development? Or will you handle it solo as you are right now?" His eyes narrowed viewing the familiar character in the tank, but showed little more emotion to the gruesome scene. "you've been busy ..."

"You sick sonofabitch!" roared the fallen god. His pressure was beginning to spike up, soon the entire room felt weighted with his raw energy. "How dare you do something like this, how ******** dare you! You better pray that Ialo kills you long before I get a chance to you ******** torture seemed to be one of those things that set Riser off.

The tank blew open, and a short figure burst out and immediately shook itself nearly dry. Orange hair fallen over his face, the child stood hunched over and wheezing as if to expel some remaining liquid from his lungs. All he wore was a pair of baggy shorts and a pair of tattered sandals.
As he looked up, the wind blowing from inside picked up tremendously and began to bite and sting those it hit; it seemed even more viciously cold than it had moments before. The entirety of the room seemed filled with a raging cyclone, and everything that wasn't bolted down seemed to want to take to the currents.
His face and body were bound by intricate patterns of glowing gold, and those few who had met him immediately realized who this strange child was; it was Horus.

Whatever answer Ialo had intended to give Kai was abruptly interupted by Riser's outburst. Ialo could feel the god's rage inside his mind, not just in the heavy, angry air. It compounded his own rage, and Ialo responded with a cyclone of his own. Not a wild one like Horus's - a manipulated wind so strong and precise that it sliced past Horus and ripped Krauser from where the b*****d stood. The air formed a barrier around Krauser, and Ialo commanded it to lift and propel him out the hole in the wall. That was the dragon's only target, and Ialo refused to waste time and energy on Horus. Let Kai take care of him.

Ialo himself crossed his arms and collapsed his wings, before jumping backwards out the building and taking flight. He felt a savage glee, riding on the currents of air. Not even the fact that the Zurich police were beginning to respond to calls of chaos in the city center could distract him right now.

Meanwhile:
005, 003, and the rest of the satellites were suspended over the western hemisphere, gazing down magic-enhanced optics. Though they were machines and there was no actual speaking among the group, the satellites all had minds and personalities of their own, and had ways of communicating beyond what technology could offer. And currently, they were debating at when to step in, and how.

"We failed him regardless, in not protecting him..."
"He's always been stubborn about that - he never does what he should do, and then complains when he doesn't like what happened!"
"Still, - "
"To err is human, to forgive is divine..."
"Oh, don't even GO there!"
"... and as he is a creature with his own psychology, we are but sentient machines and are as likely to make mistakes, just as he has, does, and will. The difference is that our mistakes are very fast, and very accurate." 008 seemed to enjoy the perplexed silence of his siblings. "I agree with 003, that we failed our orders in that we allowed him to put himself in a dangerous situation."
"He was kidnapped, and he had plans for him..."
"And thusly," 008 continued blithely, "he would not have attempted to kill him. He was in no danger, until now. He chose to respond to his provocations."

Were anyone following the satellites' conversation, they might find the constant use of pronouns confusing. But the satellites didn't get confused, and that's what mattered. They were telepathic machines and could easily supplement their messages with images of who the were referring to.

003 was satisfied with 008's explanation and saw where this was going. "So because NOW he's in trouble, we go help him?"
"Well, yes. We will continue to observe him though. Magic evolves in ways unlike flesh or machine."
"Oh look, the police were called in....."

Krauser was quickly losing control of the situation, and although he seemed calm and collected, the tiniest hint of panic sparked inside the deepest recesses of his mind.

Horus was not going to be ignored; he had been awoken to do battle with Ialo, and he would have that joy whether Ialo allowed him or not.
He quickly burst between the two in a shower of black and gold feathers. With a burst of inhuman speed he had Ialo gripped by his hair; his voice was no longer that of a young boy, it sounded deeper, angrier, viler. "Don't you dare ignore me. Do you know who I am?" He shook Ialo back and forth. "Your pal in there, he may be the last of the Fallen Gods, but I however, I am the first of the Altered Gods. My powers have been fine-tuned by the brilliance of this man! I was a lowly God of Wind, barely capable of defending myself, before he took me in. As a God I am honor bound to defend his life, and I will with everything I have. So don't, you, dare, ignore me!"
With a flick of his wrist he formed a bubble of superheated water vapor whilst cooling the air around it, leading to a massive thermal shockwave that rocketed Ialo into the side of the building.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 21, 2009 8:31 pm

((Owwww!))

Ialo yelped as he was grabbed and shaken, and thrown into the building. The glass windows broke, sending billions of shards of glass into air and to the ground below. His eyes fluttered open, and his red eyes locked onto Horus. The boy had god-like powers, yes! But he was not a God in the true sense - Gods had free will, and Ialo sincerely doubted Horus had any under Krauser.

He shouted the first thing that came to mind, unaware if it actually had any standing "And I am of the line of a God among men and beasts alike!!

From where he was tending to Nathan, Ophiuchus was suddenly overcome with weakness, his vision graying and a chill of dread in his gut. As soon as it came, it was gone. Ophiuchus sat in the floor, disturbed. What was that? Who could have possibly done anything like that?

Ialo flew up and transformed into a dragon. It was different from his usual form though - this dragon was larger and his scales were a glossy dark blue, bordering on black, with black claws and horns. He stared at Horus with his cursed eyes, red pupils now crowned with a ring of cyan.

((Chaos in 3, 2, 1...))

((oh sh** *ducks in cover*))
Kai sighed dusting himself off as he ignored the shockwave. "Dame it ... Every three seconds there's another god. What makes you think your any different from the others that were slain, or the ones that still live." with a quick flick of his wrists the golden blades formed in his hands like molten metal being poured into molds. "If your a soulless husk or not you pose a threat to this world, and I deal with threats posthaste." With that his white wings shifted and twisted until a set of white and black wings that were made for flying replaced them. "So riser ... are you gonna join in or sit idle?"
