gonk My goodness. Do they wish to get it tattooed to them? Is that why they're so picky?

gonk My goodness. Do they wish to get it tattooed to them? Is that why they're so picky? It's going to be part of this larger piece that deep and heavy into Taoist symbolism, so the colors, postures and meaning have had to be just so. The guy's partner is the really crazy one, and they never communicate with me at the same time. I'll get emails from the guy who hired me to go ahead, then six hours later another one that says, "stop, wait! We need these changes made!" I also figured out there was a weird encoding thing in the jpgs. The Mac at work did it. I made gifs to compensate and the colors on these turned out much truer to the original files, but like all gifs the details are now fuzzy. Can't win!

OK, let me get this straight, the woman and the dragon were perfect, except now they're not. What the hell do you want me to do about it now? All this s**t you want done now is going to be difficult if not impossible, and involves redrawing entire swaths of picture. You're all concerned about ******** symmetry now, but those were all the changes you wanted me to take out of the damn things in the first place. "No, we want it just like in the original drawing," which is of course turning out to be exactly how you don't want it.
I have no idea if I can make these changes, seriously. You are lucky for TWO reasons.
The first is that I know what I'm doing and have done so much exploitative color on these things that I can actually do something about the dragon's relative position. God help me for the other crap, but that I can probably deal with.
The second is you magically un-ran out of money and will be paying me more.
Yes. Yes you will.

Check it out every one, Jeff (my friend/artist) just did a new draft of the page for our comic. this was the old draft, just as a sample page.  and here is the new first page. set up more the way I wanted.  it's it grand.

Dear Aspiring Artists, I know you would like to work in comics. Hell, I'm also going to address the people already working in comics. I'm going to give you a hot design tip that will make your work less masturbatoryily-desirable, but it will make it look a lot better. Stop using women's nipples as a design feature.I know, it's most likely a backlash over the 90s where none of the women had any nipples what with sporting costumes like this:  But this is not an improvement.

It was exhausting but also brilliantly fun. For some reason I have agreed to do it all again. So far the My Little Pony Gallery Show idea is being shot down, but hopes are still high that I can talk people into doing things for me again. I seem to be very good at that. heart
