I have three violins: Two belonged to my grandmother; their names are Connor and Frances. My third violin, which is the one I play regularly, is named Fritz, because he's German and Fritz is a cool name. My baritone is named Nala, because I was going through a Lion King phase when I got her, and she's silver and beautiful so I thought she should have a pretty name. My marching baritone is named Jake. Just because it's his name.
My piano doesn't have a name for no particular reason, my viola doesn't have a name because it's not mine, and all the other instruments I play I also don't have one of my own to name.

I just named my flute. Originally, it was going to be Bob, but my tuba's name is Bob, so my flute shall be named Cocoa, because that's what I'm drinking at this time. Sure, I'll probably forget, but.... domokun

It's sort of a tradition that the clarinet section name their instruments, so my marching plastic clarinet is named Christine and my wooden one is named Erik....Phantom of the Opera XD heart

well i named my alto kanika....heh found the name on a website and decided it fit....but me'n my friend named her alto sticky cause the keys were always sticking....and then we hav a famous tenor sax in our marching band as well, aptly named grumpy for the reason it will only play when it wants to. seriously 4 different ppl (including the BD) have played it at one after the other, all managing to get nothing but squeaks and fuzz.....but miraculously the next day it plays fine, not a hitch.....yeah, grumpy.
