Clearly Jason missed the fact that Yuki couldn't help anyone, even with a ballista. Granted, the guy seemed to do well enough in flailing about and saving himself... Thank God Percival was there to keep him from getting crushed by scales.
"You'd figure those would be big enough to throw on the drawbridge, too." He mused, mostly to himself.
He was glad to see Jason uninjured, and gave him a pat on the back when he came near. "I'm leaving it to the guys who have a better idea of how to take care of it... But we still need to break the bridge."
And he hoisted something heavy up on his shoulder and headed toward the wall.

Physical strength was not her division expertise - far from it, in fact - but Mildred understood the necessity for this particular bout of physical activity on a tactical level. She found no difficulty in approaching it in such a way, and had been quietly and carefully scanning their surroundings to determine the most suitable objects to most effectively achieve their goal.
But this was sort of troublesome, in a frustrating way; it seemed that none of the others were considering the importance of this, and were simply snatching up the objects nearest to them. Chickens, even! Was quantity honestly more favorable than quality?
Her lips pursed as she considered this. Robert certainly seemed to think so. He was enthusiastically facing this task with an unparalleled zeal, which brought a small quirk of a smile to the corners of her lips. This was his expertise, it seemed. Perhaps it was best to allow him this, the greater good aside, lest she snuff out the flames of his light.
It was unfortunate that she missed most of his more showy efforts, as her vision provided only a vague sense of his actions at a distance. The only solution was to get closer, naturally. It was the only thing that made sense.
Entirely logical. No other reason.
"Yes, I do." There was sincerity in her tone, despite the fact that she was carefully stretching to place a wayward chicken on his head with impressive precision. "With patience and diligence...and the cooperation of a partner-in-arms, arguably...nothing is impossible."
