Annabel looked up startled at Journey's outburst. She frowned for a second before going back to cleaning.

Atreyu laughed and nodded his head in agreement at Naito's comment. He returned his attention to Journey and watched her intently and he jumped she called out. He took a few steps towards her and tilted his head.
"There is another wolf?" He bowed his head and growled. "This isn't good at all... Alright, everyone, do as Lady Journey says. Sniff the door. I want to know if anyone recognizes that scent. He trotted over to the door to help Journey and began to paw at the door with her. "What is it Lady Journey, what do you see there?"
"Even if things get dark, you always have to find a way to smile. Come on man, just imagine this world if there wasn't any laughter!" Kai said to Naito, nodding his head at him. "Cheering up others is fun anyway. I never really understand why others could become sad or become extremely with others..." He paused and shook his head at the slight thought of his brother and his accusations. He jumped when Garaden whacked him with his tail and he turned to the younger wolf and barked at him. Spinning on his paws, he swung his paw at him and nearly fell over when Journey began to shout. "I guess Journey's trip worked out after all... tally ho!"

Balto watched them all before sniffing the door. "Well it's definately not a wolf I met before."
Naito smiled and nodded his head. "Alright Kai. At least one of us will always seem to be able to keep the groups spirits up no matter what."

Garaden tilted his head and sniffed the door. "Nope. I don't know the smell. It's not very strong though." He backed up to give Journey and Atreyu space. He frowned slightly. "I wonder who it could be... Being gray narrows the field down only so much."
"I dunno. But I think it might help us." With help, Journey was able to finally pry the small object out from under the door. "It's a... necklace." She looked up at Atreyu. "I've never seen one like this, have you?"

Paine padded on in curiously, sniffing the air. "What's all this about?" She titlted her head to one side and pawed at a flower, pushing it down only to have it spring back up, making her giggle.

Atreyu listened to the others answers about the scent on the door and sighed.
"Damn..." He growled under his breath. He stared at the necklace that Journey held and shook his head in the negative.
"No, I've never seen it before but let's hold onto it. It's the only tangible piece of the accomplice we have." He moved closer to Journey and patted her on the shoulder, smiling proudly at her. "Thank you Lady Journey." He turned to the others and wagged his tail. "Alright, we should head out and follow them." He turned to Garaden, and wagged his tail; eager to get going. "Garaden, we'll wait at the door for you if you want to get Ivan. Hopefully mister family man will want to come and if not, just tell him we'll go and bop him on the head."
Kai flashed Naito one last goofy grin and trotted over to the door to take a quick whiff of the scent on the door. No one else seemed to know who it was so he wasn't expecting that the moment he brushed his nose against the door, he had this sense that he knew it. His eyes widened and he stumbled back away from the door and frowned, rubbing his paw against his nose. There were other scents on the door but one was making him rake his brain for the source.
"I.. don't think I know the scent either..." He mumbled, unsure of what he told the others was the truth or not. "A gray wolf? Maybe our lovely 'queen' is causing a little trouble." He laughed nervously, trying to recover from his sudden moment of shock.

Naito was wondering what he meant by that, but kept silent as he followed the others out the door.
Balto was a bit confused. "You have a queen and a king?"

Journey sighed. "Well, someone must know who this belongs ta." She said, managing to get the necklace around her neck. "I'll bet we'll fahnd someone soon." She looked up as her shoulder was patted and smiled widely. "It was my pleasure."
She tilted her head when Kai jumped away from the door. She padded over to him taking a close look at his nose. "Did ya hurt yoself Sir Kai?"
Garaden shook his head with a chuckle. "If Dagger is the one behind this, I'll let you paint me with yellow stripes." He looked over at Balto and grinned. "Not really. Atreyu's the leader of the group though, so naturally his mate would be considered "queen." He doesn't always answer when he's called Queen Dagger though." He smirked playfully at Atreyu and then nodded a bit more seriously. "Allright. I'll go now and get him." He ran off, trying to be quick, and nearly tripping over a puppy in the door. "Whoa! Heads up kid!" He yelped as he ran on.

Paine pouted, tears in her eyes, "Kid?!" She didn't understand anything that was happening, and she felt bad for tripping the adult. With a whine, she slunked off to the corner of the room, where she couldn't be a nuscience.((Awww, You made my puppy go EMO! SHAME ON YOU!!!))

"Don't tell him that Garaden. You know now he'll find a way to try and frame my mate just to paint you." Atreyu laughed and watched Garaden leave and winced when he tripped over a puppy he hadn't seen enter the room. He only hoped that the pup didn't get hurt or knock into anything that was still out of place from Cheshire's little attack on the room. Sighing, he turned away from the puppy and shook his head. At Balto's words, Atreyu looked towards the male and tilted his head. "Yes, as Garaden just explained it. Dagger is sort of a male version of a queen whether he likes it or not." He said, laughing. "Don't worry, after all of this is said and done, I can formally introduce you to everyone who participates with the knights and I do have to figure out a test for you Sir Balto if you still intend to become a knight as well. Anyway, I'll meet you guys at the door."
Kai lifted his head and looked at Journey and smiled at her and shook his head.
"I'm fine, I just probably sniffed in more dust than I wanted. Man, such a dusty, dusty place." He lied quickly. "Anyway, I'm sure that thing does belong to someone. Heck, they probably stole it from someone. You know though, if we don't find the owner, it does look quite nice on you Lady Journey." He said, winking at her as he turned to follow Atreyu and the others.
((Atreyu and Kai to the back porch since there isn't a front porch thread xD! ))

Balto nodded his head. "I see and sure!" He then headed out the door with Atreyu and Kai.
Naito smirked as he listened to Balto talking over the fact that Dagger was queen, but looked at the puppy hoping everything was alright for her. "Um...here's a silver necklace if that helps." He watched as the others. "If you want some company you can head to the sitting room. We just have a mission at the moment to make sure the house is safe." He then looked again as he saw the others leaving. "Well I'm going to have to go. See ya!" He then walked out the door with the others.

Journey smiled gently and nodded. "Yes, dust will do that ta ya." She looked down at the necklace she now wore and shook her head with a laugh. "I can't help but ta agree with ya there. It's quite pretty. But I don't know if'n I could keep it." She turned before following after the others. "Thanks again fo' yo' help, Mizz Annabel." She nodded as she left.

((She's a pup, she didn't know what was going on >< Sorry about that, though....I didn't know, either.)) Paine watched the other's go and looked down at the necklace Naito placed before her, kind of confused. She managed a soft, "Thank you," with a smile before he'd left. She looked back at it once he was gone, wondering what to do with it.
