Laura gave up. No point in going home and no point in scoping this place out. She patted her pocket, Good Boon Boon I'll get you some dust when we get to the hardware store. Onward towards the store she went... until she got distracted with a centipede and scrambled after it.

Nnnnn. . . Shaylene had just moved recantly, and she couldn't exactly remember the street name, or surrounding streets. You know where that park is? A few blocks from there.

Shaylene hopped into the car and then buckled the seat belt, putting the strap behind her so it wouldn't rub against he neck. She hated seatbelts.

V slipped on his belt and stuck the kkey in the egnition and roared off. "So you said near the park?" His voice pushed over the woosh of the wind.
Bane laughed. "It would seem so." He tipped her chin up and kissed her forehead. "Let's get to sleep then." He sat on the edge of the bed to yank off his shoes.
