Well, as I stated in the review, KOF 94 is available for the Wii Virtual Console, so, you have a chance to purchase and play it....unless you just get it on your arcade emulator.
@Fox:
Yeah, there really is a depth to the sprites that gives that nice bulging effect.

Thats probably what appealed to me so much about the graphics of Super Mario RPG, as well.

Hey everybody. As you may know, I'm a member of the Classic Game Room forums and am an avid fan of the Classic Game Room series, both the original and HD. I decided to parody Classic Game Room HD and create the following video. Some of you may not get the jokes, so I would suggest watching Classic Game Room and Classic Game Room HD either before or after the video. This will hopefully increase the humor. Anyway, enjoy.

As always, another epic video.
BTW, viewers, erm, readers, that game D has reviewed was based off an animated movie made back in the 90s.
And said movie was based off a comedy strip.

Howdy hey all, and here's a piece I'd like to call...Let's Go To Nintendo World! Of course, being one of the few Culties to live in the Big Apple, it gives me a chance to venture to this fine establishment.
And No, I'm not trying to rub it in. I highly recommend you all try and visit at least once...
So! Thanks to a heads up from fellow Cultie, Driabhar, I had recieved word of an event at NW concerning the pre-release of Wii Music!
It wasn't too big of a turnout, they had two or three stalls set up outside with three games up at each, along with more inside.
For those who came, they gota poster. And for those who played they recieved a pair of sweet drumsticks, with the logo on the end.
And for those who bought thr game, they got a free TShirt with a nifty conductor's tuxedo design on the front!
A marching band showed up at the event. I think they were called the Soul Tigers or something... Here's a pic.

Now the event was good and all but as always, the stuff inside is VERY appealing as well!
And it looks like some new stuff has been added since my last visit!
I once saw a Skull Kid figure on display, but check this out!

And some rather DO WANT plushies as well!

How can you say no to Toon Link? 4laugh
Well, I had to. I wanted one badly, but I HAVE to save up for MySims Kingdoms... SO i chose between A Petey Piranha Plushie, from the New SMB set, or one of many...
...MUDKIPZ. Yes, I know you all leik them, they had a WHOLE Shelf set full of MUDKIPZ!!!
But Petey was cheaper. Hey, I was on a budget. sweatdrop
So there's my say about my trip there today. I look forward to the next event, for sure!
...And I HOPE it's on a Sunday again...

Guitar Hero World Tour recently came out, and as a sort of connoisseur of music games (lol amirite), I decided to take it upon myself to review the GUITAR section of this game. For all of you who sing and play drums, tough s**t. Bass has added one extra button, but I’ll get to that in a minute. Anyway, I finished up the main expert guitar tour last night, so we’ll start with that.
Now, when I play a music game on expert, I tend to expect every note to be charted. With GHWT, this isn’t the case. To name a few, Everlong, Ramblin’ Man, and Lazy Eye were obviously wrong. Even with the song BYOB I was able to tell that there were quite a few notes missing. Some of you may complain that I’m picky, but since I can’t play real guitar, I want to feel like I’m really playing these songs. This is especially true in the case of Re-Education (Through Labor). I think they actually charted the Rhythm guitar, and you can hear the lead guitar playing in the background. What?
My next real gripe is the actual music. A lot of the songs are easily forgettable, and don’t make me want to actually play them again. Guitar Hero games are meant to be played over and over, since there isn’t much else you can do with the game. I mean, I really don’t want to play ‘Band on the Run’ more than once. s**t, if I ever have to hear ‘Beat it’ one more time in that game, I may kill myself.
Now, another thing I’d like to point out is how you have to purchase some of the songs to play during the tour. It cost me $8000 of my in-game money to buy the three songs by Tool, and I didn’t even make any of that money back when I played the songs. I made say, $1200 at best. I don’t want to lose money when I’m playing songs! Throughout the tour you come across things like that, but most of the ‘gigs’ cost $2000.
My final gripe is the order in which the songs were put in. I found myself playing easy songs near the end of the tour, and wishing that there was something less…well, boring. The last song in the game is Hot for Teacher, which is…okay, I guess. I feel that there are better songs to leave with, but okay, I guess.
The slider that comes with the new guitar is okay, except it will ******** you up the a** at random times. If it feels even a dense molecule in the air, it will assume that you are strumming and break your combo for you. However, even it being there during the sections you're supposed to use it for is stupid, because switching from it to buttons just doesn't work. And when you do use the slider, the parts aren't long enough for it to even be worth it.
Now, about that extra note in bass, it’s a purple line that looks like what a footpedal would be on drums. Don’t be alarmed when that comes your way; just flick the strum bar without holding down any fret buttons! It’s an open note; it’s new to this game, but fairly easy to get used to. Now you’re starting to play like a bassist.
I know this is really only about the guitar parts, but my brother (Who plays expert drums) has noted that activating star power on drums is, quote, ‘******** retarded’. You automatically lose your combo when you do so (On the rock band drum set, at least. If anyone else knows that it’s better for the GHWT drum set, feel free to say), because you have to hit the blue and yellow buttons at the same time.
Also, I did play vocals one time, and it took me a while to figure out how they actually score it. It isn’t really…I can’t actually explain it here. It’s odd, and you can’t see if you’re actually doing well in the song from the meter as you might in Rock Band.
Overall, I’m giving the game a 6/10 on Guitar. Don’t bother buying it if you’re looking between this and Rock Band 2. Maybe give it a rent some time, especially if you’re on the 360 and looking for an easy set of 250 gamerscore for beating the expert guitar tour.
TL;DR: Betman's Gripes: ******** charts Vocals, what? Retarded drumming (according to my brother) The new slider is unnecessary Horrible soundtrack Buying gigs?
