What program do you use Pug? And I thought your newer wigs were no problem at all when I last had one come my way.

Nowadays when I make a hairstyle, I will draw the basic shape of it with a solid pencil tool, fill it in then lock the layer so that all the shading only affects the solid space and doesn't blur out into the surrounding area.

It's mainly the parts that overlap the body that are the problem. You know, the parts that would lie in front of the clothes that another editor (for example, me) would be adding.

Amen to that!! It also makes the base-maker's work look better when it can be paired easily with another's. 3nodding Nobody wants messy edges. -- Pug? Have you tried making your brush hard or soft? The default in my program is 50% so I always change it. See if you can find a way to do that. (Or find some harder brushes to download)

happy birthday Mercy ^___^ wahmbulance heart
I'm getting the new photoshop CS2 ^_^ [obligated by school] but I edit on paint shop pro / It's really easy to pixel with, you cnans set 'hardness' to 100 and you get clean, crisp edges like the ones on my edits *nods* I don't like all them blur tools and stuff. I only use a tad of burn or lighten when I'm REALLY annoyed xD so yuh.

But I still believe in using the right tool for the right job, and they're not the right tools for everything!
