"Nothing to worry about, yet. It just means there was a considerable magical disturbance, or a tremor at ground level, which would cause an slight disruption in teleporter functionality. All the teleporters will still work, it's only a threat if you're under 6 inches tall, or extremely sensitive to magical changes." He said. "If the alert goes any higher, you won't be able to go to Midgar, so I suggest you go now. I'll get the boy." Terran continued as he went across the hall to Terrado's room.

Slien, however, had already left his room, and was headed to the warp room. Stepping onto the glowing circle, he was warped to the Pandemona Central Nexus. From there, he went straight to the circle labeled Ground, which sent him to Midgar, outside the Seventh Heaven.

Even though Akia was abit bigger than Azurite, Azurite still had to help her out of this mansion. As the Mistress shot up into the air he struggle to pick her up in his arms and when he stood straight he tried to balance himself as he struggled to walk towards the door with the injured body in his arms. A chunk of the roof about the size of a Chocobo Egg (lol) fell onto Azurites back. The pain didn't stop him since he concentrated on getting Akia out before some of the building colapsed on him but more importantly Akia. As he made it to the door he kicked it down and walked at least ten yards away from the mansion before he fell onto his knees with Akia in his hands. During all of this he hadn't noticed that her Pheonix Kioni was on his shoulders shielding him with it's wings from the falling pieces of roof after the first one hit his back. Azurite still had Akia in his arms and Kioni on his shoulders after that as he thought I only wish to suffer... if I can keep others safe... then after he said that in his head he closed his eyes. He closed his eyes and tried to repress the memories of his tortured past, his ten long years of suffering to gain nothing but a power that he never wanted.

The elements shot down the neutral corridor, in a partially successful attempt to stabilize the structure, and speed the escape of the three. A chunk of the ceiling in the central room fell into the gathered light and darkness, detonating it. Darkness and light flashed through the Coral Palace, destroying balance all throughout it. The spirits within the palace screamed in rage as their supposed haven was destroyed.

Zack stood and wlked into the middle of the aisle and said, "You want to become part of SOLDIER, huh?"

As the wind began to come against the smoke shroud, the vortex spiraled faster, the smoke being pulled inward. However, in response to the resonance of Xetrina's magic, a booming voice shouted, "Shu roh shu zhæh, ok hu maz ro zho swokr oth zhie arturos!" It appeared that the being could read magic resonance, as, immediately following the words, the region began to be devoid of moisture. This had no visible effect, however, as the sky was completely cloudless. Within the smoke, two points of blazing light lowered, as if staring directly toward Xetrina. Remaining on her for a moment, the same voice that spoke in an unknown dialect now spoke in plain English. "Keep your distance, conjurer." The points narrowed slightly. "Or you will meet the same end as the maggots that sought to shackle me."

In response to the voice, Xetrina called out to it. "I am Xetrina, keeper of the now ruined Coral Palace, and soon to be guardian of the Palace of Balance. Who are you to disrupt the world?" A prismatic light shone out from her hand as she summoned her spear. Her aura was wild, first one element, then another, sometimes mixing the elements.

Each time Xetrina's aura held fire within it, she could feel a powerful force drawing the element toward the being within the shroud. Even now, the rapidly receding smoke was no larger than the orb had been, its exterior beginning to take on a cloth-like appearance, the vortex now vanishing. "Who am I?" There was a low chuckle before silence. "I am the one that this world drew unto itself. I am the one that this world wished to bind and manipulate. I am the one that was brought from another realm for the amusement of this world. I am the one who will seek vengeance for this disruption. You accuse me of disrupting this world? No, it is this world that sought to disrupt me." The points of light inside the mass vanished for a moment as the smoke at last faded, revealing a large, black cloak that covered a human-shaped form. A hand, sealed within a black, gleaming gauntlet, reached up to the hood of the cloak. Lifting it just enough so that the eyes of the being could peer out at her, the points of light once again were visible, revealed to be this being's eyes. Its eyes, the window to its soul, were formed of nothing but raging fire, which now glared at her. "If you really are one who seeks to maintain the balance, then you should be able to know what they are that you seek to balance when you see them."
